Beautiful!!! Very relaxing and calming neighborhood. The house was perfect for our family. The pool and spa was utilized everyday of our stay. The perfect getaway for rejuvenation.
Makani Lani is a wonderful property. Our family was very comfortable in this spacious house. The outdoor seating area and pool were amazing. You are close to shops and beaches.

It is a beautiful property in a beautiful place. We had a couple of issues however Derek the property manager addressed them quickly resolving what he could (with a little help) and we appreciated his friendliness and thoroughness. In the end we spent two glorious weeks in paradise, can't wait to go back
We loved this house. Great cooking kitchen. Loved opening the large doors. Loved the courtyard. Easy to walk down to beach areas. Would definitely return!
First stay in Kauai and needed a place to stay for my family and my wife's parents. Upon arrival the home was clean and inviting. Bathrooms stocked with small travel-type shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion. Kitchen fully stocked with all needed cooking items and appliances (silverware, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, toaster, coffee pot, Keurig, blender, waffle maker, tea kettle, Brita filter pitcher, etc). Other essentials were greatly appreciated also (salt, pepper, cooking spray, spices, coffee filters). Plenty of beach chairs and a few sand toys available in the bin next to the pool. We purchased 2 boogie boards that we left in there also :)
We did however want to make some comments for things that can be improved to ensure an even better experience for future renters (especially since this rental is not cheap!):
The AC worked very well in all rooms except the kitchen/ living /dinning room and since our family typically runs "hot" we purchased a fan to blow cool air from the master bedroom hallway into the space (we returned the fan prior to our departure).
Extra towels would have been helpful, we seemed to go through towels and did a few loads more than we anticipated.
BBQ ran out of propane upon first use. There does not appear to be an attached valve to check propane tank’s current capacity.
Spa didn’t work properly, we were not able to enjoy this feature during ANY of our stay :(.
Exhaust fan on stove does not function properly.
Would have been nice touch to have some additional kitchen items available at check-in (a few coffee pods, coffee creamer packets, ketchup, mustard, etc.).
There appeared to be a small ant issue on the dinner table and on the kitchen counter.
One set of broken blinds in master bedroom.
Fridge and freezer doors required Hulk-strength to open.
Master bath shower has an awesome window BUT there seems to be a hole in the foliage and neighbor’s house can be seen! (possibly created by neighbor?). Maybe add a shower curtain so that can be drawn if needed.
Front door off of family room does not lock.
Dishwasher soap holder does not close properly so dishes were not clean on first attempt, thus we had to do dishes by hand during our entire stay.
We especially appreciated the check out process, we were not expected to do anything in the cleaning department! This was a nice plus!
Having said all above, this is an amazing property and would stay here again if we return to Kauai!

This house is beautiful- the pictures don't do it justice. House is in a safe, quiet neighborhood on the golf course. It is immaculately clean, with 3 master suites w/ attached bathrooms and 1 bed room by a powder room. There are huge windows and glass doors that fully open to look out onto the mountains and towards the pool, which take advantage of the kauai tradewinds. House had beach chairs, coolers, umbrella, beach towels- everything needed to enjoy the area. We would stay again!
