In Fern Acres, you will enjoy a serene, quiet location with all the amenities of home. On this 4 acre property, the sounds of nature will lull you to sleep. And, awaken you with soft birdsong. The climate is cool at nights. You have access to the entire cottage. No sharing of the kitchen or bathrooms with anyone else. In this private cottage, you can still be in a tropical rain forest and enjoy modern amenities of home.

Bedrooms
Private cottage that features a king sized bed in one bedroom and a queen sized bed in another room.
Each room has a 55 inch, Smart TV with streaming services and a digital movie library. The library has over 2200 movies, and over 375 TV series. If you want a movie and don’t see it…most likely we can add it.
The queen sized bedroom is upstairs in a separate loft area.
The two sleeping areas are completely separate from each other. Each side has complete privacy. Great for families traveling with teens, or two couples.
Comfortable, clean bedding after a day of sightseeing is just what the doctor ordered.
Living Area
Futon sofa in main living quarter.
Books and games are provided for additional entertainment.
High speed internet throughout the property.
Kitchen
The cottage is equipped with a full sized refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Locally grown coffee is available to get your morning started. Foodland Grocery store is just a few miles away. You can cook your meals. Or, go to some of the local restaurants in the area. If you decide to cook, the kitchen is equipped with pots, pans, dishes, and utensils for your convenience. Kona Coffee and tea station located in the kitchen.
Bathroom:
Standing shower in the bathroom. Single vanity.
Basic Toiletries and towels provided.
Outdoor Space:
Huge wrap around lanai. Clear views of the night sky. Great for star gazing. Enjoy blankets of stars. Outdoor grill, outdoor eating seating area and outdoor lounge chairs and fire pit for your use.
Beach Gear:
We do have beach chairs and towels for your use. If need more beach gear, let us know. If we have it, you can definitely borrow our gear.
The cottage has peek-a-boo ocean views. If you want privacy, quiet, comfortable, and a safe place to stay… this is it.
Smart locks on all doors to allow easy access for check-in.
Hosts are available as little or as much as needed. We also live on the property in the front house. We have provided information of local attractions and eateries, but if you need more information about the area; we are here to help. The front house and the cottage are roughly 500 yards from each other.
Please note the house does not have AC. But, there are ceiling fans in each of the sleeping quarters, and multiple windows. It is breezy at night.
