We were very pleased with the laid-back design of this breezy older house. Between its great location and great airflow, you will enjoy your stay. While the positives greatly outweigh the negatives it's important to disclose the issues that we encountered. The kitchen is way outdated. It's dark and the cabinets stick and are difficult to open. If you're planning on cooking a lot during your stay you might want to go to a place with a remodeled kitchen. The kitchen was fine for us, but highly annoying.

What a quaint and comfortable Kauai cottage! My son, his good friend and I loved the location and proximity to Poipu Beach . The cottage felt like an original on the street and authentically a beach rental. We loved the presence of the roosters each morning to wake us up and get an early start to the day. I do wish that the kitchen had a dishwasher , however, it suited us well and we very much enjoyed the lovely simplicity of the yard and location. All the beach chairs and umbrellas made it an easy walk to the beach ready to enjoy the ocean . We would happily return for another wonderful stay !
Amazing location! 5 min walk to beach and restaurants. House is charming and lots of ocean breeze. No need for AC if you open all the windows and use fans. Wonderful Hawaiian breeze and ocean sounds.
Loved the stay - even learned to love the 3 am roosters crowing. Like a built in wake up call.

The location is perfect for a quick morning swim before heading out for the day. The 4 bedrooms worked well for our group, bathrooms were nicely updated, plenty of hot water and great towels. The house is a wonderful older simple island style home with a great back yard. Yes the kitchen could use an update, but all appliances worked and plenty of kitchen tools for cooking. The house is exactly as pictured. Many of the wooden doors and drawers would benefit from being planed so they don’t stick as much.

We had a dreamy five days in this well appointed property with a great location. The home and property were as described. It was a comfortable, serene step back into time to a simpler life. The uniqueness and simplicity of the kitchen was charming. We were traveling with a toddler and were pleasantly surprised by all the items in the home to accommodate this. Just lovely!

My family had a wonderful experience renting the house in Poipu. The space was clean and well supplied and very spacious. We appreciated the keyless entry and not having to stop over to an office to pick up keys. The home is absolutley lovely and you cannot beat the location.
The house was great! Comfortable for all of us! Lots of room to gather and also quiet spaces as well. The yard was wonderful plenty of privacy and room for our 6 year old granddaughter to run off energy. Couldn’t beat the proximity to two beaches, one for the adults and a safe one for the littles. Don’t hesitate book it now!

This is our second time staying at this location and very much enjoyed it. It has plenty of room, and is in a great location.
Us grandparents along with son, DIL, one toddler and one infant had a lovely time. The house was spacious and the outdoors inviting. We had room for the little ones to nap quietly. We were close enough for a 2 year old to walk to the beach to play. The kitchen was well supplied so that we could eat in some days. Take out food was close and numerous restaurants a short drive away. There were plenty of activities for everyone.

Our stay was incredibly comfortable! This place has everything you need. I am a plant based chef and found the kitchen to have a robust selection of pots, pans, utensils, and even some seasonings! The walk to the beach was perfect. Not far at all and by the time we got to the house we were all dry. The temperature of the house remained comfortable and we loved having the windows open with the fans circulating the fresh Hawai’i air!

We rented the Pane Road House so our family could join us on our annual trip to Poipu. They found it very comfortable for 7 people.The home is very spacious with 2 large bedrooms, 2 smaller bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large common living area with dining space, and a small, but well equipped kitchen. It easily accommodated our 7 family members. They really enjoyed the large, private back yard.The property is well maintained and only a block from Brennecke's Beach. We have reserved it again for them next year.

The house is a short walk from some great beaches, a choice of surfing, snorkeling, swimming with turtles and monk seals, and a safe kids beach. The house was spacious with room to spread out indoors and out, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It is an older place which we quite like, but that does mean the kitchen is a bit dated and doors stick. But it had everything we needed. We stayed in December and with the louvres open and fans the house was always a comfortable temperature by day and night. We would be happy to stay here again. We really enjoyed the Napali Coast tour we did, as well as several restaurants nearby.
We all loved this house, lots of room, easy to also have privacy even though it’s single wall. Big lawn. Clean! Comfortable beds and furniture. I was tempted to not say good things so it would be easily available to us again. May be harder w children because of noise factor, but not if family is comfortable w some noise.

We were very happy with the house on Pane Road. The walk to the beach was short and pleasant. The road is quiet. The nearby beaches worked for experienced boogie boarders and our young grandchildren. We loved seeing the sea turtles and seals. The house was roomy and comfortable. While I wouldn't call it a luxurious home, it was clean, well-equipped and offered privacy. It was perfect for us. If asked what could make the house better, I'd say an outdoor shower and boogie boards to go with the beach chairs and great linens.

This was our second stay here - its a home away from home for our 2 families. Beds are comfortable, layout of home roomy. Kitchen small but sufficient. Backyard has BBQ, table w/umbrella & chairs. Lots of room for kids to play. Beach chairs provided in garage for carrying on the short walk to the beach. Also provide beach towels and lots of bath towels. Great communication with staff if you need anything. Both families love it here.Kalapaki Joe's Restaurant just a short walk behind house. Very good food! Traveled to Hanalei for kayaking and watched grandson & Dad surf. Daddy O's Restaurant in Lihue does excellent breakfast (only). Have to visit Kauai Coffee and there are various Art nights on Kauai. Koloa town is must visit. We recommend this home for a great time on Kauai. Mahalo to rental ladies. A lot of Aloha.

Nice location. KVR staff were very helpful, provided us with a new kettle and sorted out the issues with the phone and television. Garage was very useful. General condition of property was good. However, the wooden floors could have been cleaner. We also reported a hole in the side of the property that allowed partial access for birds.
