Excellent location to beaches, stores & our excursions. The lanai was perfect, we sat outside every morning and had breakfast and enjoyed the view. The property description was great and the beds were very comfy. Having access to a in house washer and dryer was a huge plus as well. Bonus points for having some chairs, a cooler, body boards and snorkeling gear to use. The portable ac upstairs kept the master bedroom nice and cool, the bedroom with the twin beds was a little stuffy during the day, but we were only getting ready here so it was tolerable! My daughter was very comfortable at night with the fan they had here and the small portable clip fan she brought. The window ac unit downstairs worked great as well. Rocco was very kind and communicated with us with check in instructions and then made sure all was well the next day. Very appreciative of that. Ample cookware and utensils. They do provide a few essentials (trash bags, hand soap, dish detergent) to get your stay started, which is very helpful as well. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend this townhouse to friends and family. 10/10
This townhouse suited us okay. It is very small. Not hardly enough room and seeting in living room for family of 5. The air-conditioning units (1 in living room is a window unit that is loud and drips water and the upstiars master bedroom is on the floor up has an obnoxious vent out the window) so be prepared this is not central air. The unit is what i would say economical. Basic everything. The light fixtures need replaced as many are rusty due to the moisture. With all that said... the beds were comfortable, rhe grounds were lovely, they graciously gave us a late checkout and the view and sounds of the ocean not hardly 10 steps out the back door are worth the money.
This was a clean and bright apartment in downtown Hilo. Restaurants. groceries, shops, and the Hilo farmers’ market were all a short walk away. Check-in instructions were clear and easy. Our host was responsive and available if we needed anything. Parking was right next to the apartment. My family of four enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
This location is outstanding for being next to the water. With a few dollars invested, the building could be a much better place. For example a new bed instead of old rickety twin beds. AC upstairs is needed too. The owner was very responsive to texts and should be commended for that.
We had a lovely stay at the condo. Peaceful, lovely grounds and activities. The unit was clean, nicely stocked, and had friendly communication. We snorkeled, saw many sea turtles, found great eats, stargazed, ocean views were mesmerizing, beaches were sweet to explore… and had a great place to relax and rise at. ❤️
For us this was the perfect rental. It was clean, spacious and located just right. The lanai was so nice to spend mornings eating breakfast, drink coffee, watching the waves, and just as nice to watch the sundown each evening. Rocco and Rita were both very attentive to our needs. We are already planning our next trip.
Beautiful spot on the coast, close to the grocery store and to a very good snorkeling spot within walking distance. I loved the waves crashing all night against the rocks. I would definitely book this again when staying hon the Big Island.

These are not luxurious properties, but they're not supposed to be. This condo is smack oceanside so you watch the sunset from your lanai. Pool and community facilities are great, and the residents graciously included us in their community potluck on Christmas Day. Our kids spent a lot of time on the tennis/oickleball court. Kahalu'u snorkleing beach is a 10-15 walk which means you don't pay and fight for parking.Great place for a family vacation.
We had amazing amazing 5 days at this property. Great location, beautiful community, easy access and parking. House is in good-great condition with fewer flows like upstairs bedrooms do not have a/c units and our first night was quite hot to sleep even it was mid December. However, from the second day weather got better and cool breeze was coming in but we need to keep our bedroom door open. Another issue must be fixed that upstairs bathroom shower door is not closing and due to this water splashes was going out on the bathroom met and on the floor. And one last thing the kitchen window do not have screen and that allows bugs to get in easily.
Other than these issues my family and I had amazing time sitting outside watching beautiful sunsets and watching crashing waves. It was very relaxing vacation and we definitely coming back when we visit beautiful and magical Big Island of Hawaii.
We came to Rocco’s place for our honeymoon and were met with the most hospitable, welcoming, clean home. We had such a relaxing time listening to the waves at night, sitting on the lanai and watching the sunsets. We will take the memories we made here for the rest of our lives. Thank you!!
The patio backs up to the ocean for direct ocean viewing. A few locals fishing but no catches during our stay. Short walk to a strong waved beach and a short drive to a lifeguard snorkel area. Close (walkable) grocery for last minute needs-( although Costco a better option about 30 minutes drive but worth it). The condensed was lovely. Not extra fancy but very acceptable. You can see the ocean while cooking in the kitchen! Beach times available (we didn’t use them) as a nice touch. The upstairs room have no ac and the fans do ok- but something to know before you go. Washer and dryer available. Condo has a nice pool to swim/relax in. Small soda vending area with tennis/pickle and ping pong (you’ll need your own equipment). Beds not uncomfortable, closet space available to unpack. Located close to a downtown area and coffee farms. Nice trip.

The view was amazing and we loved the location. The unit was very clean and well equipped. The Sunset views are stunning!
Well usually I have a difficult time sleeping in hotels , but we all had the best sleep ever, especially when you are listening to the sounds of the ocean and the fresh air breeze!
