Great location, beautiful sunsets/sunrises. Clean and comfortable.
The Maui Sunset was the perfect location for our family reunion. Our family (groups of us) were able to stay in condos within close proximity of each other (and at different price points). The grounds were amazing for our brood of teenage cousins looking to be active together - pickleball, swimming, using the gym and skim boarding on the beach - an ideal set up. Our condo was perfectly located - close to the beach and the pool. It had a fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs and beach umbrella (and now a skim board- too big to bring back on the plane). When we had a minor issue at the condo, the management was quick to respond and very professional. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Honestly. Great home base- lots of grassy areas to hang out. Our teenage boys brought their baseball gloves and played catch. We going out on the beach. The vrbo was big enough but not too big, well equipped. Ocean in that area is not clear so not not the best of you want to snorkel there, but it was quiet and a great place to spend the day
The location and beach access was phenomenal. The condo was very well set up and we enjoyed our stay very much.
We found this condo to be a perfect fit for all of us ages 10-70! The sunset could be witnessed from the lanai, and the pool was just steps away. (Great for our Grandpa with limited mobility.) The birds woke us each morning around 6:30 with their cheerful song, and the sun soon followed. The supply closet in the pool area contained everything needed for tennis, shuffleboard, and even bocce. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and we put the community grills to good use. There were water shoes, chairs, coolers, and more in the supply coset in the condo. I only suggest the addition of 2 boogie boards. We would love to return in the very near future! Great location for families!
I’m always interested to stay someplace that has a 10 rating. Overall a decent place but not really close to a 10. Location is excellent for families with kiddos. Ground floor unit was nice for us. Close to the pool and the ocean. Unfortunately we were met with too many negatives; the wifi password is wrong and is an issue if you don’t have international data on your phone to sort it out. The property manager didn’t respond to messages and required multiple attempts to get a response. When we arrived; the outside light didn’t work, the espresso machine is broken, the bathroom light was flickering like a horror movie and the outside patio tile was broken making a sharp hazard for our kiddos. Overall poor upkeep and maintenance overall. Lastly, they have a time limit on the AC unit meaning if you want to sleep comfortably at night you have to get up once or twice to reset the AC, good thing Maui never gets hot or humid. Chatting with others staying as the same resort you can likely contact Maui Sunset to save some costs.
Wonderful vacation home! Well equipped unit for our home away from home with coolers/chairs/binoculars. Highly recommend this unit.

My family had the opportunity to stay at this incredible property for 5 days. The unit itself is perfect with 2 bed/2 bath and a good size kitchen/living room plus all the chairs, beach toys, etc. The best part is the sliding doors that lead out to a beautiful view of the ocean where you can see the best sunrises and sunsets. My kids loved the large grass area right outside and we appreciated the close proximity to the pool. Upon arrival we had some issues with the toilet however the owner was extremely responsive and had someone over quickly to fix. While the issue itself isn't something they could have controlled, the solution is something they could and it was handled perfectly. There is a great shopping center close by with some good restaurants and a lovely beach to walk on right out front. We look forward to our next trip to Kihei and when we do, we will stay in this exact same unit!
We loved our time in Kehei! Our large family rented 3 condo units and couldn't be more pleased. The units were fully stocked with what we needed including beach towels and chairs, boogie boards, etc. We had easy access to each other's units and spent a lot of time at the pool. Thank you!

Came here with my wife and Daughter. Everything described on VRBO was accurate. Condo was beautiful, great location, clean . Property was fantastic, ground floor was amazing .Hats off to the pool maintenance guys and ground keepers. Always out and cleaning, place was spotless. Had some question about fishing , emailed Scott ( Property manager) I think, and responded right away. Highly recommend this condo
We all love this lovely place. It has everything we need. It's like living at home away from home. The view is spectacular, you can see the sunrise and sunset. We like it because it's at the first floor, easy way in and out. Lounge area, pool is s few feet away and there's grills to have a bbq. It has all the beach stuff like chairs, snorkels, umbrella, etc. that you can take to the beach. The price is great comparing it to a hotel or to a 2 bedroom apartment. It is worth every penny.
The grounds and the property are absolutely beautiful! The property was well stocked with everything we needed from Beach towels to towels to boogie boards. Extremely clean and well decorated perfect location near shops and restaurants right on the beach. The pool is outstanding. The grounds are kept so immaculate. Highly recommend
Good location, steps to the ocean, pickle ball close. It was nice to have 4 beach chairs and a cooler, we could pack up and head to a beach.
Kitchen was stocked well, made cooking easy.

We couldn’t have asked for anything more. The view is amazing off the lanai. The room has everything you need especially for beach days.

This unit is perfect for a family of 4….beautiful views and a great location on the property. It’s close to the pool and tennis courts. Just a few recommendations: it would be nice to have shampoo and fresher bath towels. The sink faucet is also loose. Other than that, it was great! We really enjoyed all the great beach toys and chairs!

Beautiful condo which has been remodelled. Location can’t be beat. Watch the sunset from the lanai. Right across from pool. Clean and easy. Only thing lacking on the cleaning is the dirty windows which obstructed the view. There’s a chipped tile on the lanai that is sharp and should be fixed. Otherwise great experience - would rent again!

Cannot beat the views of this place. We walked to see the sunset every night, loved the pool, loved the grounds, and the unit itself had everything we needed. Family of 5 stayed for my husband’s 40th birthday. Kid’s first time in Hawaii and we all can’t wait to come back!

We had the best time during our 10 day stay in this beautiful condo right at the beach! It was thoroughly clean and it had everything we needed and more. Our kids said they wanted to move in and stay there forever..(I didn’t want to leave either) The beds were very comfortable, lots of beach items (coolers, umbrella, chairs, snorkel, etc) as well as board games. Having the pool/hot tub right outside the lanai was very convenient. The view from the lanai is amazing! Perfect sunsets. Communication with the owner was great, he replied immediately to my messages and was very kind. We are very grateful and will never forget the time spent at Maui Sunset B119.
