The Turtle House was an excellent choice for our family vacation to Maui. We had 7 adults and 2 kids and bedrooms for all. Location was convenient to the beaches we wanted to visit and shopping/restaurants that we needed. Place was clean and welcoming. Great communication with the rental office. We woke every morning to the turtles swimming down below and ended each day with beautiful sunsets. We spent a lot of time out on the expansive decks. There were some beach chairs and sand toys in the garage that we used and beach towels were provided. A few suggestions: We had trouble with the coffee makers on sight, although we got coffee after fidgeting with them. There was no icemaker and no ice cube trays, so we bought a few. There was a shortage of paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, plastic wrap, foil and baggies) so we had to buy all those. Some sinks had no hand soap and we ran out of dish soap. We didn’t find the kitchen air conditioner until several days in. And one day electricians showed up unannounced and turned off all the power so they could work on circuits. Unfortunately, it was baby nap time, so that was inconvenient. A heads-up would have been appreciated. All these suggestions do not negate the fact that this was a GREAT place to stay. For the price, we were hoping more essentials would be included.
Our family had an incredible stay in this beautiful home that overlooks a small cove filled with sea turtles. We had magnificent sunsets and the home is close to restaurants and markets making it very convenient.
We had the best time waking up to the beautiful view from the back porch. We loved watching the many, many turtles! The house was perfect for our group of 10, and the location was great!
Overall terrific. I didn’t give 5 stars because the property was a bit janky (one slider was broken, the kitchen screen door barely could move so we left it open all day), TV remotes didn’t work (buttons to change channels would toggle)….but really - very minor gripes when considering how easy everything was and communication with the property management. We were happy to stay here and truly enjoyed our time! It was comfy and clean! (No dead cockroaches!!)

They didnt clean tgis property - I'm guessing for multiple weeks - based on how dirty the floors and counters were as well as tve amount of dead roaches everywhere. Worst stay. Not properply advertised.
Large house that easily accommodated our family. Outside deck has fabulous ocean views. Whales and sea turtles were abundant and great to watch. The house was fairly well appointed, but a bit dated. Upstairs shower leaked into the master bathroom. Wine coolers did not cool. Communication with the property team was excellent and they checked in with us throughout our stay. Overall an excellent property.
View is amazing! Did not receive check in information but was easily able to get a hold of someone. Group of 12 ranging in age from 8-63. Loved all of the space we had. Beach was a long walk for the older group but the younger group was able to do it fine. Would definitely stay here again!
The house was great and perfect for our family. Great location and plenty of comfortable space for our large group. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a great time! Seeing the ocean so close to master, family room & kitchen plus other bedrooms is amazing. You can hang out on the deck and gazebo and watch the turtles. We have great photos of the turtles, sunset and views from the house. Thank you!
