Balcony was the best view and really enjoyed drinkn coffee every morning . Furniture was sufficient but could have been more comfortable . Also the air barely would reach the bedroom but other than that was a great place to stay for our vacation !
The property was just what we needed. The only drawback was the construction going on. But we would definitely use this condo again.
We had a wonderful vacation in Maui and this property provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable home base. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Loved this amazing unit with breath taking views. Relaxing on the balcony drinking coffee in the morning and reading my book in the afternoon was the highlight of our stay.

The condo was clean and comfortable. It was exactly as pictured. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen had plenty of cookware/dishes/utensils. The air conditioning worked perfectly--but we sometimes did not use it in the evening because the tradewinds blowing through the screened doors provided perfect ventilation for the unit. The washer/dryer was "top notch"--not your typical small w/d combo that washes just a few towels at a time. The grounds are immaculate--just as pictured. Parking was a little "trying", but manageable. The staff in the office was extremely nice and very hospitable and helpful.
First time staying at her place clean orderly and very quick response from the host. Been to the resort 5 time before best place to stay hands down. Would stay at her place again if available when i book
Great location, ground level unit
My wife and I have stayed at the Papakea resort several times now. It's our favorite place to stay in Maui. We did a lot of research before going this time thinking we might want to try a new location on the island. After several hours of research we decided that Papakea offered several amenities not offered by other resorts. We particularly like the units that overlook the courtyard area, pool and putting green. At night the blue lighted pool and tiki torches provided a beautiful ambiance that we haven't been able to find at any other resort. Walking distance to eateries and a grocery store is a major plus. Loved the location and the owner was very nice to work with. Also, there was a lot of whale activity this year. We stayed 3-9 through 3-18 2024. We'll probably go back next year.
Beautiful little property in a great location. Owner was great to deal with and was prompt with replying. Would definitely stay again.
