Our lovely townhome is a hidden gem located in the Fairways development at the Mauna Lani Resort. The small Fairways complex surrounds a large pool, hot tub and common area. The outer perimeter borders golf course and open space. The gated complex is private, peaceful, secure and easily accessed. The Auberge Mauna Lani Resort and the Fairmont Orchid Hotel are both within walking distance.
This spacious and well-appointed two bedroom townhome is the most popular and largest of the two bedroom floor plans available in the development, and is perfect for one or two couples as well as a family. The unit sits in a tranquil, private location within the Fairways and is a short walk from the pool and common area amenities.
Our townhome makes a wonderful vacation home and provides a prime access point for enjoying the private Owner’s Beach Club, the endless amenities of the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resort, area beaches, and exploring the entire Big Island. Enjoy two championship golf courses, shopping, restaurants, recreational and fitness activities for all ages and interests.
Our on-site concierge will provide detailed directions to the townhome, which will be prepped and ready for your arrival. You can rest assured we will take care of the details so you may enjoy your stay.
The Fairways at Mauna Lani is zoned RM-4 which allows for short-term vacation rentals. Our townhome has been registered with the State of Hawaii as a short term vacation rental as is required by law. Our registration # is STVR-19-356969.

Amazing vacation rental! The place was huge and had everything we needed for cooking (laundry soap was a nice touch too!) as well as chairs, umbrellas, beach toys, mask/snorkels etc. The location was great for beach and Auberge/Fairmont/Mauna Lani golf access. We will be back! Very fast response from both the owner and property manager.
Spacious, well designed, stylish decor, amazing kitchen! This townhouse had one of the best equipped kitchens I’ve ever seen in a rental house. High quality cookware and equipment made it easy to enjoy cooking fresh fish and vegetables this island provides. No need to eat out really! We were a party of 2 with 20-something son and we each had “suites” - very private layout. Outdoor lanai off master bedroom was so nice to enjoy coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. Comfortable if a little dark living area, but very cozy, HUGE library of books to enjoy. We enjoyed the 4 cruiser bikes (there were 6 I believe) to bike to market which is so close! Owner's Beach was a bit far away to bike but we actually visited the Fairmont Orchid Beach the most. Just a quick bike around the corner. We didn’t visit the pool but saw it and it is very nice. Don’t miss the black sand beach! Hilary and Kathy were prompt , thoughtful communicators and Lisette was super helpful on site. We will definitely book again when we come back to the Big Island!!
This property is amazing!! Kitchen was well stocked with tools, the pool is gorgeous, the owner’s beach - AMAZING!!! The host was welcoming and helpful. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay!!

This unit is in a peaceful location, fully stocked and close to beautiful beaches. The owner is a wonderful and very responsive host. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this unit!
Condo is in quiet, pristine, gated community. We stay in rentals several times a year and this property was #1. Just as described and pictured. Wonderful place to relax in the morning on the patios, as well as after a long day of activities. Beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, comfortable furnishings and beds with quality linens. Condo was extremely well stocked throughout, including many extras like coolers, ice packs, chairs, bikes, snorkel gear that made our trip even more enjoyable. We didn’t use the pool, but the facilities were lovely. We were all over the island, but thought this location was superb. Great weather, close to many great beaches, restaurants, Kona, the north end and the airport. Excellent communication with the property manager and host including great recommendations for activities and restaurants.

The townhome in the Fairways development was comfortable with a large pool. We enjoyed the owner’s beach which had decent snorkeling and is next to a large fish pond with some cool large fish and nesting birds. The house has chairs, umbrellas snorkel gear and a cooler for beach days.Other beaches are also close to this location. We went to the Fairmont Orchid Hotel beach one day and enjoyed a more catered day at the beach which is fun too. We were two couples and had plenty of privacy and tranquility.
This vacation home has everything you need to enjoy the island and local beaches. The home was exceptionally clean and spacious with a well equipped kitchen and patio BBQ. Our local host was also very responsive and helpful.

Fourth time we have been to the Big Island and this was the nicest location we have stayed! Extreemly clean, cental A/C, upstairs balcony, downstairs porch, kitchen wad stocked for enjoying meals and meal prep, had all the appliances we needed, we didn’t use it, but a beautiful outdoor grill, bicycles, everything for beach time (towels, snorkel gear, chairs, boards, small and large coolers, umbrellas) community pool and hot tub. Close to several beaches and shopping centers.Definitely set a gold standard!
One of the best rentals ever. Charming, relaxing, nicely furnished. Well stocked kitchen. Excellent beds, very helpful and responsive property manager. Located in the Fairways neighborhood of Mauna Lani. Convenient to good beaches, shopping and golf. Wiamea and Waikoloa nearby.
Only issue was the pool and development gates could not open either direction without a hard key. Got locked in and out when on foot, swimming or biking since we only had one key for four adults. Should be able to get out without a key!
We really enjoyed the condo and spent many mornings on the upstairs lanai.
We have stayed in some wonderful places through the years throughout the Hawaiian Islands. And we've enjoyed them all for different things. But this one was stunning from the moment we walked in the door. The tasteful decorations, the thoughtful stocking of the kitchen with every device (working) you could need, the access to the private beach club (with restaurant), the closeness to the Mauna Lani shopping area and of course our Fairways pool area could not be beat! Consider this location for your next trip. You will be so glad you did!!
Quiet area with plenty of space to spread out. Enjoyed the local pool/jacuzzi, and private beach with surprisingly good snorkeling. We had a few minor issues which were promptly fixed by the manager.

Beautiful condo, clean, quiet. Rode bikes to the beach at sunset, great walking/running paths.
We were pleasantly impressed with the home's amenities which included cable TV, WIFI, comfortable beds and bedding, kitchen tools as well as use of outdoor equipment (i.e., snorkeling equipment, bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas). Once we secured our booking dates, we were contacted by the host who offered several recommendations during our stay. Lizette was outstanding in making sure we had access to the home upon our arrival. She provided a great suggestion to visit the Farmers Market for gifts and great food items. We all agreed that we will return to this beautiful home on our next visit to the Big Island.
Our family of 3 had an amazing time in this lovely home. Every night we would ride the bikes down to the beach and watch the sunset. During the day we enjoyed our time at the Mauna Lani beach club ( access card provided with home) a great beach for snorkeling and enjoying the private swimming cove. All the beach equipment you need is provided in the home too. A lovely unit in a great location, we had the best week here in beautiful Hawaii
We visited the Big Island 22 years after we came here on our honeymoon and stayed at the Orchid. I was thrilled to find this property right next to the Orchid, for use to return, now with our boys, ages 10 and 15. The community is placed amount the golf courses and is peaceful and quiet. The property was well designed, well-maintained and had all the accommodations and accoutrements that you could need for your stay. We arrived late in the night and the home was warm and welcoming for us and pristinely clean. We loved the balcony outside the master bedroom, the outdoor patio and the spacious kitchen. The master bedroom is incredibly spacious with a super comfortable bed. The pool was excellent for a quick dip after a day on the golf course or exploring all the Big Island has to offer. And we absolutely loved the private beach. My boys loved snorkeling and enjoying the beach club. I wishes I could have spent every day of our visit there but alas, we also had to explore Volcano National Park, golf, and visit Kona. I was instantly relaxed as soon as we arrived after a very long journey from the East Coast and wa sad to leave at the end of our stay. I would highly recommend this property again and again to anyone that is looking for some more space for their small family when visiting the Big Island and enjoying all the resort that Mauna Lani has to offer from restaurants, to shopping to golf course, fitness center, pool, beach, spa and more. Coming back to the Big Island after getting married here at the old Kona Village (RIP) fifteen years ago. Communication and check-in process seamless. Property managers very pleasant and seemed to care. Condo was every bit as advertised and was perfect for us. As ex-VRBO owners, we were amazed how stocked the kitchen was with pots, pans, dinnerware, glasses, etc. We know how hard this is to keep these items in stock and also keep them nice. Everything first class. Bikes were a great touch, and we used them almost every day. Owners beach was super-crowded when we were there, but we were there during spring break, so there you go. We had a fantastic second honeymoon, restful, quiet, convenient to all. Loved it.
Very nice grounds, conveniently close to stores and grocery. clean dna well decorated. The stairs are the most soft squishy stairs i've ever walked on it was like a cloud. beds were comfy and everything was really nice :)

Fairways at Mauna Lani is a hard place to leave. The sunsets and tropical setting keeps bringing us back. This unit has had a number of nice updates in the last year. The owner and property manager are both very responsive and pleasant to work with. I would definitely recommend.
This was by far one of the nicest places we have rented. It was extremely clean, was decorated to perfection, and had absolutely everything we needed. The neighborhood was wonderful and the kids enjoyed the pool area. The bikes were an added bonus, as were all the necessities for a fun day at the ocean. I appreciated that spices and oils were left in the cupboard, so that we didn't have to buy everything we needed to cook. The property manager was very accessible and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
