A wonderful place to stay. The ocean waves and breeze were amazing to hear and feel. The condo itself was roomy with everything we needed including washer/dryer. The balconies were just incredible. Words cannot describe the views of the water and the island of Moloka'i across the way. Whale and turtle sightings repeatedly from the balcony. Within walking distance of a few restaurants and beaches. Beach chairs were available for use too. The property as a whole was really nice as a whole. One of the reviews I read beforehand mentioned that the screen door would come off the track, so I expected it and it was not a problem to just put it back on track. We hated to leave. I highly recommend this rental.
This is a nice property, million dollar view! I watched whales, dolphins and turtles daily! Inside needs a little updating, especially the bathroom. Thank you

13 days at Valley Isle, Kahana, Maui was incredible. So many amazing experiences on that Island. Valley Isle Resort is an amazing resort. We had an ocean view on the 11th floor. Seen turtles, rainbows and whales every morning on the lanai having morning coffee. Walked the beach for our second cup. Had a few negative aspects though. The pool was beautiful but it was too windy almost every evening with a good chance of rain. Maybe it’s how the resort is situated but the wind tunnel was consistent. Weather was “moody”, as we were explained, on that side of the island. Room was weathered but provided everything we needed. We would recommend to anyone and left Maui so grateful. We arrived late but stopped at Walmart for the week’s groceries; reasonable prices. Went to the market across the road from the condo later in the week & a dozen eggs were $10. Easy lock box check-in. View took our breath away. Furniture dated but clean. Bath & toilet dismally small. Kitchen adequate. Mr. Coffee type coffee maker. Fans kept condo cool enough to sleep (mid January). Quiet, restful stay. Only noise was the waves crashing. Lovely sound to fall asleep to. Spent many hours on the balcony watching whales. Very sad to leave!
What a great property! The views are incredible, the location is so convenient to all of west Maui. We saw so many whales sitting on the balcony, I lost count! The property is well stocked with everything we needed for our vacation. Loved Miso Phat sushi across the street, walked to Maui Brewing Company.

The pictures do not do the view justice! It was amazing. The place was very comfortable and had chairs, a cooler, and an umbrella. I will most definately try to stay here again.

Very tired and worn. The unit was in need of so much. Difficult to describe. Unit not clean, I talked with management co., they recleaned. Even the bed skirt on bed was dirty with bugs on it. Better but not great. Utensils, for cooking were dirty, I rewashed. Glasses in cupboard dirty. I rewashed anything I used. The stove burners were all out wack but we used one burner to cook breakfast. The hood to stove should totally be replaced. Then we had roaches! Management company brought over roach spray.Then went to do a load of wash. Washer worked ok then put clothes in dryer. Clunking and got very hot. Called management co., again. Sent repair person, said they had to order a part. Few days went by and repair person came back. Dryer still didn’t work. Repair person said it should be replaced but had to get approval from owner. Missing tiles throughout condo, hair in bathtub they recleaned but the tub it was beyond help! I wore thongs to take a shower, been coming to Maui for over 35 yrs., and this unit by far is the worse unit I have ever stayed excluding the View which was great.

Everything was clean and ready when we got there and led to a great vacation! The title of this property is "Views! Views! Views!" and unfortunately, that is about all it has to offer. The condo is largely original and is in dire need of an upgrade or at a minimum some TLC. Rusted vents, missing baseboard tiles, cracks in the shower, dripping faucets, the oven doesn't even open all the way. The list goes on and on. However, it was adequately stocked with supplies and we made good use of the laundry.
On the second day of our stay when we returned to the condo, we were unfortunately greeted with roaches, a lot! We immediately contacted the property manager who was very responsive and helpful. The next morning, he placed some traps in the condo but it did not stop the roaches from returning. We were greeted by more the next day.
The property manager agreed to refund us for the first part of our stay in the roach infested condo (4 of the 7 nights) and put us in another one of their properties at the same rate. We were very grateful for the wonderful new condo and enjoyed the last 3 days of our trip.
However once we returned, he rescinded the offer and said the new condo we moved to was nicer, so let's just call it even? What!? Then he said he would refund us for the nights we were unhappy with (2 nights). We were surprised as this was not what was offered to us and our decisions would have been different if we knew the truth. Feeling defeated and scammed, we accepted it and explained that it was actually 3 nights of living with roaches. We have yet to receive a response.

If we would have known we would still be dealing with this, we would not have taken him up on their offer. There were plenty of other VRBO options available for us to move to at the time. A promise is only good if it is kept. In hindsight, we wished we had everything in writing.

We've been going to Maui and staying at the Valley Isle more years. This is the first time since the Pandemic and throughly enjoyed our stay. Can't beat the view and the whales and turtles proved entertainment.

The stay was nice however was under construction when we arrived. I wish we would have known this before checking in. Because of this the gym area was closed and there was a large part of the building that was boarded off. The room was clean but the bed was very uncomfortable but if it was not for the construction it would have been a much better experience.

Very pretty area to vacation at. Great beach & nearby places to eat at. We were not aware of the fire that had occurred earlier & would of appreciated an email saying that the complex was not compromised. Balcony failed on decor. The carpet is stained, ripped and showing signs of age. White plastic chairs can be updated. Kitchen: Please fix the jarring door where the garbage can is stored. The oven door can only be opened partially due to the fridge being too large. We bought a large pizza to bake & had to cut it to be able to slide it onto the oven rack. Thank goodness the baked toppings of the pizza stayed on when removing it on a angle from the oven. The mattress on the bed is soft. When I sit on the edge of the bed it sags. A new firm mattress would definitely add to the comfort of my vacation.

The condo location could not have been better. While the unit is very clean and most amenities all you will need for a short stay the unit could use a brighter coat of paint (felt dark). Watching the turtles and paddle boards, surfers, kite surfers, etc., from 11th floor is spectacular. The price is right for this unit. I would stay again!
My wife and I stayed a week at this 11th floor condo during the month of July. We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed our stay. We especially loved the beach area. It was never crowded and there were plenty of chairs on which to relax. We made sure we did some snorkeling our first day and were surprised to see and follow a turtle for several minutes. We were a little concerned that we would be too worm without AC in the unit, but the crosswinds (so strong they could almost blow you over) always cooled things off.
The condo itself had many amenities including a washer and dryer, cable TV, internet access (via an internet cable ... not wireless) and an igloo cooler to help keep your lunch and drinks cool on that long trip to Hana. But the condo did need plenty of TLC. The drapes that were supposedly purchased apparently never made it to the curtain rods. Instead, the old drapes were nearly torn in half. The patio furniture was lacking comfort (plastic chairs) and the overall look throughout the condo was dated. If you are looking for a luxury condo, this is not the place for you. But, having said that, the price we paid was quite low for the area. Everyone we talked to was amazed at the deal we received. (Thanks)
Even with these negatives, we would have no problem staying here again. The price, the view and the "private" beach were well worth any discomforts the condo offered.
I was so excited when this place became available, but having stayed there for a week I have to say I was terribly disappointed at the condition of the condo. The drapes were torn and held together with safety pins, the bathroom was so out of date and small and the beds gave us backaches.There were not enough blankets or pillows either. The pool was lovely, which was good because the sun doesn't hit the beach until the afternoon because of the height of the building.
On the good side, the whale and turtle watching was seriously spectaculor !!!
It was not worth the rent and alot of cosmetic work would need to happen before i stayed there again,.
