We had a great stay at this Maui Sunset unit. The location and grounds are beautiful.I used the sofa bed and it was comfortable enough for a good nights sleep. They’ve added a memory foam mattress topper, which helps.Great value for the price. Unit is a bit dated but that’s why the price was right. Everything was spotless and in good working order.Added bonus was the front closet with beach toys, Tommy bahama chairs and hard and soft coolers. Really helpful for our daily treks around the island.Washer/dryer is full sized which is also excellent.
It was very nice. The property manager was helpful. We was very happy with the location. The condition of the vacation rental was okay.

Beautiful courtyard. Very organized and professional booking system. Condo unit was older, but well equipped and very clean. Great swimming pool and BBQs. The beach was nearly and beautyfull.
Perfect location but unit was very out dated and not clean at all. They had unclean sheets in the sofa sleeer and twin in the living room. Then they tried to blam me that they didn’t know it was for 4 people. The master bed was clean. Through vrbo they ask for how many. The coffee maker was clean but you move it forward and behind was filthy. They only surface clean. I diffintly go there again but different unit. The office and ground keeper kind. My fault for not contacting them sooner. They are returning my cleaning fee.

Dated but clean and well equipped. No complaints here! We were in beautiful Maui, enjoying the outdoors, right? This unit had everything we needed. The beach in not much for swimming, but great for watching the sunsets (quite a thing here). The manicured grounds are fantastic, and love all the outdoor games available to check out at the pool. Community grills are a great way to visit with people from all over. We keep coming back to Maui Sunset—-best bang for the buck in my opinion.

We had a fabulous time, weather was perfect, grounds are beautiful, lovely gentle beach good for wading and walking, always room at the pool, plenty of parking. What more could you ask for! We’ll be back!
This unit was really good for us. 1 bedroom, 2 baths (1 a shower) in a great location. The view from the lanai is hard to believe. I've never seen such attention to a property's lawn. The entire lawn looks so much like a putting green that I thought it was artificial turf! In fact, they DO have an informal putting green on the lawn with various holes to practice on. They supply the putters and balls. It was busy a LOT! Very close to Azeka Mall, an easy walk to the restaurants and stores there. Plenty of parking at the Maui Sunset. We never had to search for a spot. There's an elevator to each of the 5 floors (not all condos in Maui have elevators, this is a "plus"). Nice pool and hot tub, with tennis courts between them and the beach. It's a great area to watch the sunset and take your dogs out (there was a lot of that) and meet people if you like.
The condo itself is well priced for what it is: a very functional and relaxing spot! No granite counter tops or shiny new appliances. But everything works and does you what you need. All the basic amenities you need with none of the "flash and flair". Which was perfect for us. Older decor, but clean and easy. We're not the only ones, it appears to be booked out until early 2025 (hoping for someone to cancel, we'll go again). Check in was easy. Close to a lot of nice eateries, easy parking. Not fancy. Not for everyone, but if you're looking for Hawaii at a lower price with decent but basic accommodations, it's perfect.

Maui Sunset is one of the best locations for windsurfers. this is not the best beach for swimming but there are plenty nearby. The accommodation was comfortable but did require some updating.

A comfortable home away in retro style rather than corporate bling. The host responded promptly to our concerns. The rental had more than sufficient amenities and worked well. We spent most of our time at the pool surrounded by a very well maintained garden. Daily cleaning of the barbecues was much appreciated!
