Great property where the promotional photos captured the ambience and facilities perfectly. Best family holiday we’ve had and the property was a big contributor to that experience.
We truly enjoyed the property and support we received during our stay. Words are not enough to express the views from this home. It is spacious, full of amenities and well maintained. If you are looking for a place to stay in Honolulu, this is and will remain on the top of my recommendation list for you!
The views are amazing. Our New Year's Eve was spent watching the fireworks from all over the island from our perch on top of Tantulus. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The infinity pool was perched as if it were hanging over all of Honolulu.
The home was beautiful and my kids were simply in awe of the amenities.
We would definitely want to rent this home again!

Our travel group was made up of five adults and three children ranging in age from 87 to 11 months. This house was completely perfect for our group. Not only is it beautiful but It has everything needed to make your stay a wonderful experience, from coffee and creamer in the kitchen to games and to towels for the beach and pool. Our host, Jack, was extremely accommodating. I wish there were more stars to your rating system because this house goes way beyond five stars.
I have to say, this is the most beautiful home that I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! It is truly a work of art and the view is bar-none! Eight of us stayed here for a week, including a toddler and a handicap adult. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it worked out that each family actually had their own floor! There were plenty of towels and pool towels, an umbrella for the beach, and two washers and dryers which was also nice! The elevator was just what we needed to easily access all of the floors. However, we did have trouble with it a time or two, and my father in law had to sit up in the entryway in his scooter and wait for someone to arrive to fix it. They were quick, maybe 20 minutes, but being stuck there was a bit frustrating. Why three stars? Well, I just feel the need to let future renters know that the house is a remarkable place for your family retreat, but it does come with a few "issues". First of all, the grid must be overloaded because not only did we have a problem with the elevator, but the pool lights wouldn't come on, the hot tub wouldn't work, the air would shut off (with no way to turn it back on), and you either had to wait for someone to come fix it, or just tough it out. We understand things happen, but not having air in the room that my baby was sleeping in rubbed this mama the wrong way, to say the least. One night, we also had a bug infestation. We were told to turn the lights off and leave the doors shut, but with a toddler and disabled adult, that’s hard to do. The last thing that just really bothered me was that all of the prior reviews stated how stocked the kitchen was. That was not the case for us. I had to reach out to Jack because there were only two spatulas, and no can opener, potato peeler, measuring cups, large pans to cook for 8 people, colander, or glass casserole dishes to even make brownies. These, if you ask me, are very very basic things every rental should have. He did send these things the next day, but there are many more things needed. This kitchen has the most pristine, top of the line appliances, and I didn't even have the proper utensils to go to town in it. That broke my foodie heart. Honestly, if you aren't avid cooks, and can deal with some unwanted creatures and a few electrical issues here and there, stay here! This house IS one of a kind, and the swimming pool and the whole outdoor area is absolutely something no high end resort can ever compete with!
We will never forget our time here’ the house was everything we could ever ask for. Jack was great with our small issues and responses. I hope to return soon, countless hours singing together, cooking together and enjoying spectacular rainbows and sunsets. Thank you
Property is as advertised but you cannot appreciate its space or views until you are there. Our family enjoyed the pool, view, and leisure this property offers each day. Plus, the numerous rainbows Oahu provides were joyous (we hardly ever get one where we live)
Jack is an outstanding host. Very cordial, prompt replies to our smallest requests, and thorough in his efforts to please. A model host, VRBO should interview him on his perspective as a host.
Commutes to dining, activities, museums, etc., in Honolulu area were max 20 to 30 minutes depending upon rush hour. Easy access to everything we wanted. Travel to North Shore, or Eastern parts of the island easy. Monoa Falls, swimming with sea turtles, beach lounging, volcano hiking, all were amazing.
Evenings in the pool, watching the sunset will remain in my family's memory for the rest of their lives.
This home is unbelievable. Jack has thought of everything from the multilevel elevator to the electric shades entirely covering the windows when you want shade or privacy. The infinity pool is amazing and the hot tub and sauna’s are an added bonus for all! The bedrooms are large and roomy with an AC unit in each individual room. There are Large tvs in every room for added entertainment and a game room with a pull out couch, if needed! My entire family was at this home for 8 days, all 9 of us, including my 1 year old granddaughter and my 88 year old father, so there was quite a range and it was great for all! The stairs were a bit for my father, but the elevator covered that problem! Any problem we ran in to (just minimal things) Jack responded and took care of immediately! I would recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of town and would totally Love to rent from Jack again!!
We visit Hawaii annually and we were fortunate to add another week to our stay and found this treasure a month before the first part of our trip began. We were on a special trip for my 50th B-Day and our family's first grandchildren (twins) going to meet the family that live on Oahu. To say this home is amazing just really fails to capture what you feel and experience while being there! The sunsets, unobstructed skyline of the whole southern Oahu shoreline, and an amazing swimming pool that has you floating in the clouds! Even with some maintenance calls that needed to be made for the hot tub heating, Jack was patient and very responsive to all our questions at every turn.
We love the home! Even with getting out to see the island, you feel like you are missing the best part of the trip not being back at the house! We cannot wait to be back again and spend time in this diamond in the sky!
