Only five minutes walking distance via Poipu's world-famous "greenbelt" to 3 spectacular beaches (Shipwrecks, Brenneckes, and Poipu... + Waiohai another 5 minutes away), this spacious condo we normally call 'home' is perfect for couples traveling with other couples and families with differing appetites for adventure and relaxation.
This is an owners' unit, which means it's packed with owner amenities. Our beds are the most comfortable beds you'll find anywhere on the island (nobody puts this kind of money into vacation rental mattresses!!)... the appliances are all new and awesome. (Refrigerator with 2 ice-makers, convection/traditional oven with air fryer, dishwasher that actually works, and full size washer and dryer).
You also have access to 2 desks for remote working, 1 of which is a convertible standing desk!
The master bedroom has a new, luxurious Cal King mattress (seriously amazing), vaulted ceilings, ceiling fan, 55" smart TV + sound bar with all the fixinsa, and a portable A/C unit... it also has its own private lanai overlooking the greenbelt, a great escape from the kids or Bob and Sherry. You also have your own private bathroom with tub and two sinks tucked away behind custom barn doors. The hallway walk-in closet makes it easy to access your moomoo and hang dry your swimsuit without anything getting musty between visits to the water.
The second bedroom also has vaulted ceilings, a sitting/standing convertible desk, a luxurious King mattress, smart TV, and view that overlooks the greenbelt. The 2nd full-size bathroom with renovated shower sits across the hall and next to the full size washer and dryer.
The third bedroom is up a flight of stairs with a loft-like feel... There, we have 2 twin beds, a desk, a dresser, and a handful of toys for your kids to play with, a window, ceiling fan, and a half-bathroom with a new sink.
The living room has a large, sectional modular couch that can be moved around for entertaining or together to make 2 to 3 sofa beds. (Note: they don't pull out. You push 3+ pieces together and lay down a flat sheet).
The living room also has a 70" smart TV with soundbar and subwoofer.
The living room faces a courtyard with a beautiful plumeria tree that blooms between April and September. The lanai overlooking it is stocked with 2 x Jerry Lopez foam top surf boards, boogie boards, and other beach gear.

These grounds are GORGEOUS... well-manicured lawns, tropical foliage (the plumeria and banana trees are everywhere!), and concrete paths that lead to amazing beaches and hikes...

We had a fabulous time in Poipu at this beautiful condo! All the amenities you needed, from kitchen utensils to beach gear. Plenty of room for our group of 4 and as the post states, we all loved the beds! Best sleep in a long time! Love the family photos throughout the condo. The owner was very quick in responding to my questions. The only downside was it very warm in the afternoon and without air conditioning it got quite hot in the condo. But then we said it was pool time. Wonderful location! Easy walk to beaches and restaurants! Loved out stay! Thank you!

Comfortable, clean. Great location. Walking distance to a few beaches, one of which is on the top10 beaches in America. Good place to stage drives to the canyon as well. I do recommend one of the helicopter rides if you can swing it as only way to view parts of the island.

This Poipu condo is truly a place to relax. After swimming at one of the nearby beaches or snorkeling and hiking, we enjoyed sitting on the lanais with the lovely views of tropical flowers, plumeria trees and palms. The breeze throughout the home was refreshing with fans in each room keeping the air moving. Everything seems brand new! The family really did a great job remodeling their place.
We loved the layout of the house-the living area has a spacious couch where our family of 5 all fit comfortably to watch Pirates of the Caribbean. The large dining table made a wonderful gathering place for us and the kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed. Finally, the beds were very comfortable as described!
We pulled our gear a couple of the days in the cart at the bottom of the stairs and in less than 10 minutes we arrived at the closest beach. There is a convenient wash station also at the bottom of the stairs to wash feet and gear upon returning.
Finally, Lucas was helpful whenever we had a question and offered great ideas. We got the freshest fruits and vegetables from various roadside stands thanks to his suggestion. All in all we couldn’t have been happier.

Place was great, lots of space for our group of 6 to spread out! Had everything we needed. The property as a whole is beautiful. Only about a 10 minute walk down to the ocean. There is a pool/hot tub almost directly out front. However, there is a bigger hot tub about 5 minutes away. We had no issues or complaints and would definitely stay again if we return in the future!

We had a wonderful week on Kauai, centered around this lovely condo. It was perfect for our group. Area is safe, quiet, well maintained. We loved being close to the beaches, close to the major routes to other areas on the island. I would stay here again the next time we are on Kauai.

We had a wonderful time at this property in Poipu. It was close to the beach and had a pool just a few steps away. But our favorite things were the extras such as the ukuleles all over the house, or the fun lanai they have created. We also really appreciated the air conditioning in the master bedroom. We had everything needed for our cooking needs as well. We did have a couple issues arise, but the owner was very communicative with us and tried to solve the issue as quickly as possible. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and appreciate the attention to details that the owners have put in this home. It was a wonderful trip for us!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Poipu Kai. We couldn't have asked for a better location. Just a 5-minute walk to Poipu Beach park as well as being close to restaurants and shops. Watching the Tortoises come up on the beach every evening was amazing to see.
The host had great communication. If I reached out with any questions, he was quick to respond. If/when we ever return to Kauai we would definitely look into staying here again.

The weather was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the nearby pools and generally relaxing in the beautiful place that is Kauai.
The location was within a few minute's drive of anything you could really ask for including scenic tours, beautiful gardens, great cafes and restaurants, plenty of clothing and homewares stores, and even general stores with quality locally sourced food and sundries.
Most of all this condo just felt like home to us for those 5 nights. It is lovingly decorated and well-maintained. We must have looked at about 40 different properties in the area before settling on this one and we were not disappointed!
