Welcome to Hale Makamae-Maui, a luxury first floor condo in Wailea's premier Grand Champions Villas. Our home is unit #103 on the east side of the complex. Spend your vacation enjoying this 1 bedroom, 2 bath unit that provides ample space to spread out, benefit from the warm tropical breezes and take in Maui's beauty and wonders. From the lanai, you will find beautiful views of Wailea’s Old Blue golf course, the slopes of Haleakala and the ever-changing colors of a Maui sunset reflecting on the mountain. Enjoy the peaceful and quiet setting of the Villas which will afford you the rest and relaxation Hawaii is known for.

We want to make sure your stay is a comfortable one. Therefore, our island home has all the necessities for a perfect vacation: comfortable furniture, complete kitchen appliances and fixtures throughout. The floors are tiled throughout except for the new plush carpeting in the bedroom. Recently, the A/Cs have been upgraded to whisper quiet units that keep the unit cool without annoying loud fan noise. Every detail has been considered to provide you with all the amenities and a homey comfortable feeling that one would expect of a quality vacation home in a resort area.

We continue to take extra cleaning precautions between guests to ensure a clean and safe environment. Our staff follows enhanced unit cleaning protocols, completely sanitizing the unit and making sure all dishes and laundry items are washed at the highest heat settings possible. Contactless check in and departure also ensures your safety. You can be assured that for us, protecting your health, your peace of mind and ensuring a relaxing stay are our priority.

As our guests, you will have access to all the complex’s facilities including the 2 pool areas with spas and outdoor barbecues. You will be able to conveniently park in one of the 2 parking spots, one assigned immediately outside the front door, and the other an open guest spot.

Free Wi-Fi access to High-Speed Internet service* (up to 200Mbits/sec download speeds) is available, a full selection of cable TV channels*, internet connected HD TVs on which you can access your Netflix or Hulu accounts (service not included), Blu-ray players with a selection of DVDs, and free local and long-distance telephone service* for all the US and Canada. There is even a printer available for your use. All these amenities and facilities are included in your nightly rate, no "resort fee", no parking fee, no admin fee and no Wi-Fi access fee.

You are but a 5 -10 minute walk or drive away from some of South Maui's best recreational activities including swimming and snorkeling at Maui’s best beaches, golfing, tennis, boating, scuba diving, and many others. You will find in the unit for your use, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach bag, coolers, boogie boards and beach toys that the young ones can enjoy!

The premier ‘Shops at Wailea’ are only a 10 minute walk away and is home to more than 70 distinct boutiques, shops, mini grocery stores, restaurants, and galleries. You are within a short drive of several well stocked grocery stores, including Safeway, Foodland and Times, several drug stores and many other retailers.

For your dining pleasure you will find excellent options at the restaurants located in The Shops at Wailea including Tommy Bahama Restaurant, Ruth Chris, and others or at the Gateway Center which has the delicious Monkeypod Restaurant and Pita Paradise with wonderful Mediterranean cuisine. Within a short drive, a wide selection of restaurants to fit every taste and budget. Or if you prefer, stay in and enjoy the creature comforts of home and take advantage of the gas barbecues within the complex, and the fully equipped kitchen.

1. Sales tax rate includes all required State of Hawaii tax rates, plus the additional 3% Transient Accommodations Tax (TAT) required by the County of Maui.
2. Please be aware that check out is at 11AM and check in is at 3PM. Late checkouts may be available for a small additional fee but are NOT guaranteed. Please contact us directly with any special requests and will try to accommodate them. Please understand that we may not be able to do so, based on our cleaning protocols and next guests’ arrivals.
3. Our cancellation policies should be clearly stated by VRBO. To re-iterate, Full refund if the reservation is cancelled at least 60 days or more before arrival. If cancellation takes place between 60 and 30 days before arrival date, only 50% of the rental fee will be refunded. For any cancellation within 30 days of arrival, there will be no refund.

4. We know that many of you have heard about the proposed legislation in Maui to phase out certain short term vacation rentals (STVRs) to open up more long-term housing. While there is no immediate threat requiring us to cease operations, we know that the situation does create uncertainty for those of you who have booked our home for your future vacation. Please contact us directly if you have any concerns and we will provide you additional information so you may be comfortable with reserving with us and know that your vacation plans will not be ruined and your deposits are safe.
