I've been to Kona a few times and love the Big Island. The views from Kona Reef Resort are outstanding and this was our second stay on the property. James and Kena have done an amazing job with this condo - so many new updates. This is probably the best equipped condo we've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals as we prefer to eat in most days and enjoy the sunsets from the lanai. Thank you!
The unit was clean and well appointed. Everything you need is there. Chairs, towels, bino’s, games…. It is in a good location so you can have quiet or walk to the hustle and bustle of Kona. The bed is super comfie as were the pillows. Breakfast and cocktails on the balcony is great. No need to go out for a view. It’s right there!
Beautiful sunsets. Walking distance to shops and dining. Driving distance to all the fun activities. Comfortable bed. Beautifully decorated. So glad we stayed here!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The ocean front view from the lanai provided us with beautiful sunsets and soothing sounds of the waves. Convenient walk into town. If we weren’t sight seeing, we could easily make do without a car rental. Thanks for the memories!

We just spent 10 days on the Big Island and totally enjoyed this condo. You can't beat the panoramic oceanfront view from the lanai .. absolutely stunning. The Kona Reef property is well maintained and conveniently located to drive anywhere around the island. We ventured out to Volcano National Park, booked snorkel boats, a manta adventure, and visited numerous historic sites, beautiful beaches and a classic luau. The condo is also within walking distance to many popular restaurants, and we enjoyed several sunset dinners nearby. The owners take pride in keeping the unit in good condition and well equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your stay. We're glad to recommend it to anyone for a fun vacation. The condo is on the top (3rd floor) of the Kona Reef Resort giving excellent ocean-side views of the shore and sunsets. Schools of reef fish, dolphins and occasionally turtles can be seen while eating breakfast on the lanai. The condo is clean. well appointed, and the amenities are kept in good shape. We will definitely try to rent this unit again.

Surpassed our expectations. Great location, the view view was amazing, the furnishings were very comfortable (including brand new high quality bed/mattress) and the property was spotless. We didn’t cook but the kitchen seemed to have all the basics and more. The lanai has great loungers and a dining set - perfect for reading , eating or whale and dolphin watching, We also loved that the property wasn’t cluttered, it didn’t have the decades of family cast offs that one often finds in every nook and cranny of a rental. The photos don’t do the place justice and if we’re back in Kona this is where we’d want to stay. It’s clear that the owners really care about this place.

A lovely, clean, well equiped condo in a great location. The owner was great to deal with and very helpful. The complex has a great pool and bbq area. Will be recommending this condo to all our friends.
