The apartment was very clean and contained everything we needed for our 3 day stay. The pool area was very nice. We also enjoyed the lanai and sitting there in the morning with coffee. We appreciated the use of beach chairs, beach towels , beach bad and coolers.
The property is very clean and well stocked with daily essentials. Also, has everything you need to enjoy the beach. It’s truly a home away from home.
Such a wonderful place to stay when at the Big Island. Perfectly located near everything we wanted to see/do on the Kona side. Exactly as described in the pictures.
We had an incredible stay at this VRBO in Kona while visiting family. The location couldn't have been more perfect for exploring Kona and beyond. The space was immaculately clean with stunning views that we enjoyed every morning and evening. Our family felt comfortable and truly loved the atmosphere.Access to the washer and dryer was a lifesaver, especially after adventurous days hiking, swimming, and exploring the island. The pool was a delightful way to unwind after long days spent with family. We cherished moments watching geckos, listening to morning birdsongs, and the soothing sound of the ocean nearby.We're already planning our return because of how much we enjoyed our stay. If there's anything to suggest, it would be to consider adding small night lights in the bathrooms, hallway, Livingroom, and kitchen. As a guest who wakes up during the night, having these soft, low-light options would provide added comfort.Thank you for providing such a memorable experience. We can't wait to visit again!
Wonderful place! Hidden gem, very spacious, provided everything you will need and our favorite was the porch in the back. The pool area was super nice. So close to everything and I would stay here again. AC worked great and super clean. It was prefect.
Condo was well supplied with cookware (pots and pans), spices, and storage containers which were great for cooking. The condo had plenty of towels, both bath and beach towels. Lots of extra amenities for the beach like coolers, beach mat, chairs, etc. Great location and communication. Comfortable beds, pillows, and extra blankets. The pool was really warm and the hot tub was amazing after long days.
Our family of 4 stayed here on our first trip to Hawaii and it was perfect for our needs. The condo itself is clean and comfortable with a nice lanai on the back side. The beds are comfortable and the living space is exactly what we needed as a home base for our day excursions. It is close to Kona, Walmart, Target, great food, and the Manta Ray excursions. It is not far from great beaches. There are a few small beach parks across the street that are great for catching the sunset. Von is a great host!
Very well equipped condo! Loved all the beach gear and cooler. Wonderful lanai to relax and enjoy wildlife sounds. Nice property with the pool and koi farm. Owner is available and very helpful !
Von was incredibly responsive, the unit was very well stocked with everything you could need. The lanai was a highlight as it felt like we were in nature and had lots of privacy.

Loved our time here. Appreciated having a brita filter, ice in the freezer and A/C to keep the humidity down! Also really enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella when we went to Kua Bay; we should have brought the boogie boards with us! Walked across the street to watch sunsets nearly every night. Da Poke Shack was delicious. Lots of folks running in the mornings along the road. Conveniently located… went to Kona when we needed and also went down to Two Step beach. All in all, an incredible trip for us. This place worked out well for us.

This end unit was very quiet and relaxing (except for the roosters, but hey, that’s Hawai’i). Everything was as we expected and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped. The bed mattresses seemed to be fairly new and they were very comfortable. There were an abundance of seating areas to choose from depending on your needs. The pool area was nice and clean and the mellow music was a nice touch. The only negative (but not really) thing is that the rear parking area can become tight if all spaces are full with large vehicles.Communication with our hosts was amazing. They were responsive to questions and very attentive to our needs or requests.
This is a really nice condo in a smaller apartment complex across from the ocean. The resort has nice amenities and gardens, although the provided parking area at the back of the building is a bit tight. The condo is very private and located at the end of the building with views of the garden. We found everything we needed in this well stocked unit. The lanai had nice seating options outside. The central AC worked quite well too. We really liked the location - it’s a bit out of Kona and not too busy. Owners were great at communicating too.
Awesome condo! Nice complex and loved the pool. Lanai was so nice in the am drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Very private. Beds were so comfy and slept like a baby. Beautifully decorated. Only issue no fault of the owner was the hot tub was broke down. I emailed Von in which he quickly asked the property manager. Tub was fixed but only heated in am and later in pm. Few nights after fixed was cold in the pm. Plan on booking again next year. So nice to have an assigned parking stall. Thank you for sharing your condo with my family.
This condo was the perfect base for our west coast exploration (beaches, historical sites, hiking, snorkeling). Tucked in a quiet complex on the coastal road, it was surrounded by greenery, birds, and ocean sounds. We enjoyed the koi pond, saltwater pool, and ocean views, with distant whales in sight. Walking across the street to watch sunsets from the cove was a highlight—ideal for family photos on the lava rocks. The condo was well-stocked with kitchen, laundry, and beach supplies, and the three beds were comfy for adults. Though we planned to eat out, we mostly cooked at the condo after full days of adventure. The owner quickly addressed a known plumbing issue and made it right. We highly recommend this place and would stay again.
Really nice location. Comfortable. Hot tub was not hot, only about 5 degrees warmer than the pool, but that's not the individual owners fault.
After spending a week in rentals on other islands, this felt like home with comfortable beds and pillows and real AC. It felt like somewhere where the owners spend a good bit of their free time with higher quality
furnishings and was well equipped. The patio was perfect for lounging with morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. Convenient location for things in Kona, grocery store, other adventures on the island. Easy communication with owners for checkin and short check out list. If life brings me back this way, I’d stay here again.
We had a great stay here. Very quiet and we had everything we needed. The unit was beautiful and spacious in the perfect location. The pool was amazing with beautiful views of the ocean. We loved it!
This property was great. The rooms were very clean and had everything you would need. I loved that the property was quiet and calm, yet still close to everything we wanted to do. I only spent a short time at the pool but it looked very well kept and clean. The owners were very responsive and the check in process was easy and detailed well. I would stay here again!
Great stay, the condo has everything you could possibly need in terms of equipment, with some really nice touches like beach blanket, bag and cooler. Kitchen also super well stocked with equipment.
This was our first time staying in a Vrbo and it was so much more relaxing for our family. The condo was in the back, away from the street nestled next to a farm. We loved sitting out on the lanai after a day at the beach and just relaxing!! Definitely going to come back again on our next visit.
The location could not have been more perfect! So close to downtown, Walmart, and Safeway and just minutes from some of our favorite Big Island beaches. Condo was well equipped with anything we could need and then some! Our host was always so prompt in responding to any questions or concerns we had. We highly recommend this property!
We really enjoyed staying at Von's condo along Ali'i Drive. The location was quiet, but within minutes of downtown Kona. Beach access within easy walking distance. AC is always a plus in the heat and humidity and the pool was very nice and clean. Beds and couch were comfy, and the wrap around lanai facing the "jungle." was wonderful. The condo had all the amenities and more. I'd prefer to give this condo a rating of 1 instead of 5 so I never have to fight with people to reserve it again! ;)
This condo is amazing for anyone looking for a peaceful stay on the big island. The condo it’s self it’s very clean and homey, plus the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal. The pool was great. Overall we loved our week here and couldn’t ask for better hosts. They had everything we would need for a great stay on the island
I've stayed in Kona three times now and this was the best. Located right on Ali'i Drive, it is close to all the activities you may want to do there. A small beach right across the street allows you great sunset views. The lanai is gorgeous and looks down on palm trees, birds, and other wildlife as the sun dapples in through the trees each morning. The decor is very well done and comfortable. It was very clean and management was very attentive to make sure we had a nice stay. Thanks so much!
Our trip was nothing short of amazing ! We arrived late the first evening and it was so nice to walk into a clean condo . I’m in the vacation rental business myself so my standards are probably higher than most. We only had 1 slight issue which is fixed almost immediately the owner and the property manager were both so pleasant to work with and the location of this condo is perfect so close to everything downtown . There is even a small beach right across the street where the turtles come up to beach we were lucky enough to see them on multiple nights during our stay . We loved the condo so much that we plan on staying here again when we return next year . Can’t not recommend this place enough I wash I could rate it higher than 5 starts because that’s how great it was .
We have stayed in many places, and this one is by far the best! It is in a great location, close to many shops and restaurants, and right on the water. The communication between the owners, and ourselves was excellent. The condo was very clean and filled with many amenities. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. I felt like I was right at home but only in paradise!
