This condo is well-equipped, clean and well-maintained. It is close to both shopping areas and a movie theater, and we were able to sit on the large lanai both in the morning and evening. The Association's grounds were tropical and very well-kept. Kurt and Bonnie, the owners, were pleasant and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The assigned parking spot is a huge plus. We will definitely stay at this unit again.
Great time at a very nice condo Extremely well stocked
Location worked for us, 30 min from Two Step beach and very close to KTA supermarket. The complex is older but the condo has been partially updated with newer kitchen and bathroom counter tops, newer appliances and gorgeous views of the golf course. I loved the trees outside of the windows and balcony. Sofa and recliner in living room are not very comfortable as some reviews have mentioned. The first night we were there, it was pouring and the noise of the rain when hitting the metal roof right outside of the second bedroom kept me awake all night. We got some earplugs the next day for sleeping and we were fine afterwards. That's why I gave it 4 stars. In general, the condo is pretty nice, it stocked everything we needed, very spacious and beds were comfortable.
Well equipped condo in a quiet neighborhood.
As per usual, Kurt and Bonnie paved the way for a great stay in their beautiful, very comfortable, well equipped condo. Everything was in tip top shape, clean, and ready upon arrival. Our only issue was that the time went by way too quickly- wished we had more time to enjoy their wonderful condo!

Very clean and organized, it was a great place to stay in Kona. An incredible orchestra of birds singing just off of the lanai every day was such a pleasant experience.
We plan to be back and will gladly stay in Kanaloa 203 again.
Kurt and Bonnie’s condo was perfect for our Hawaiian vacation. The upper floor unit is in a peaceful and relaxing location with expansive views overlooking the golf course. As an end unit, Unit 203 feels like a separate home. With a back lanai facing the golf course and a front master bedroom lanai facing a tropical entry, we kept cool with in-flowing breezes. I couldn’t wait to enjoy my coffee out on the lanai each morning listening to the birds and watching mongoose digging for grubs.
The beds are super comfortable, and the living room is large enough to comfortably accommodate an entire family. The property is clean, well furnished, and well organized, making it very easy to navigate and enjoy our stay. There are plenty of kitchen supplies to make meal-prep and clean-up easy. Kurt and Bonnie provide a basic stock of last-minute ingredients like spices, which is so helpful. Honestly, there isn’t anything missing. They also have snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, and picnicking supplies, which were a lifesaver for us because we forgot to pack an important piece of our snorkeling gear.
The condo is close to everything. It is just steps away from all the complex amenities (pools, hot tubs, tennis/pickleball courts, and BBQ's), and a short walk (a block or two) to He’eia Bay for body surfing and Keauhou Bay for swimming, snorkeling and kayak rentals. Restaurants, groceries, and shops are minutes away and easy to access. A farmer’s market is 6 minutes away.
Kurt and Bonnie made us feel so comfortable and right at home. They were so easy to communicate with and so accommodating. Honestly, we’re already making plans to go back.
Late review since I was worried about not being positiv The property is nice and very well kept. Yes there is housekeeping before you leave but it is doable
The closure of the ocean pool during our stay was problematic for us. There are other nice pools but we had no place to sit at the ocean without leaving the property and driving or walking downhill to the little bay which for some people might be problematic or sitting on the Grass in front of other units or lava even to watch the sunset-we were promised a discount which we never received. If the ocean pool is not under renovation this will be a nice place to vacation. We stayed before in the same complex in a much simpler and smaller unit and had a much better vacation but we did not have a terrible or even bad time-with lemons one makes lemonade right? It will remain unclear to me how such detail oriented owners in every way about their unit can miss knowing about a pool renovation and forget a promise. Hope the pool turned out nice. It is a nice complex because it is kept up.
The complex is very nice. The landscaping is beautiful and the ocean pool is wonderful to watch the waves crash and see the sunset.
We highly recommend this 2nd story unit! The furnishings were high quality and comfortable. All the items you needed were available...beach towels & chairs, coolers and reusable shopping bags! The view from the back lanai looked out over the golf course, yet was hidden behind beautiful trees that filled with birds at sunrise.
Owners were pleasant and responsive. Tenants in other units could be heard, but definitely much quieter having them on the floor below. We highly recommend!
We spent a week at the condo in August and absolutely enjoyed every moment of it. The place is clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable, and the patio is a great place for tropical bird watching. The complex has plenty of amenities, including three pools and grills. The owners were also very responsive to a small request we had. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to the Kona coast!
