The condo had the perfect location and an amazing view. The condo came furnished with everything we needed and room to spread out and do laundry. The unit does not have AC but had fans and was so pleasant to sleep to the sounds of the surf. The condo is located in a beautiful complex within a short walk to a beach.
Beautiful condo and a great location. Close to beaches, grocery store, and restaurants. The condo had everything we needed and was beautiful and clean.
Spectacular view, spacious lanai. Property was very well kept. Gated community felt safe. Temperature was perfect for open windows but you could hear the neighbors. We would stay here again!
Pros: good location, great view, easy checkin, decent amount of space as advertised, good complex.Cons: kitches and bathrooms are outdated and needs update. Beware of small bugs in kitchen. needs update as well.

Having previously stayed @the Raquet club we had high expectations for this trip too. Unfortunately our unit faced directly west with no lanai shades & the afternoons were extremely hot so we were unable to enjoy the outside space. The ceiling fans only had one speed, slow. Our main bathroom shower was recently very nicely redone but the water pressure was so low we ended up using the other bathroom to shower. The complex is great, but sometimes the pictures are deceiving.

This ocean front condo has an unbeatable view and that is what you are paying for here. The location is excellent with a small shopping center nearby for necessities and more. The condo is roomy. We found it clean with the essentials plus some beach gear which came in handy. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cooking utensils, etc., but there are no basic spices (salt and pepper) so if you plan to do much cooking you will need to start from scratch. As mentioned in other reviews, the furnishings here are pretty tired but they do the job. Outdoor furniture is carroded as are the plumbing fittings. I am guessing no major improvements have been made in awhile. We had a couple of issues and the rental agency was very quick to respond to our needs. There is no air conditioning. They do have fans. We requested 1 more and got two so that was great. Depending on the time of year you go, the fans would be adequate if the trade winds are blowing. We enjoyed our stay here. The pool is very nice. The grounds are immaculate. We did not use the tennis courts or pickle ball court but others were enjoying these amenities. There is a beach adjacent to the property - a nice place to spend a quiet afternoon. There are restaurants very nearby, the one on the hill above with a killer view of the sunsets (which you also have from the lanai). All in all, I would recommend this condo.
The view from the lanai can't be beaten. The property was very comfortable. KSSR is always a good choice.
We absolutely loved our stay! The ocean view was breath taking and the grounds were lovely. The property manager was excellent with communication. I highly recommend this property. The view of the ocean was priceless. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed our time in this two bedroom condo. The view was AMAZING and exactly what we were looking for. We also enjoyed the spaciousness of the condo, the amenities, and the location. We would stay here again!
The condo was perfect for us. Great location with amazing views, especially of the setting sun. The entire property was great. In a perfect location with easy access to the "downtown" area. Property owners were easy to contact and even reached out making sure everything was ok.

This unit is great! Restfully decorated, and right on the water. We wanted to do nothing but sit and watch the waves-- which are very close indeed. We highly recommend.
Overall, it was OK. The view was spectacular. We were disappointed when we got to the place that the pool was under construction. We called the management, they said we should check the small print. It was in the check-in at the very end there was an addendum. We booked this in March. Our trip was at the end of April. The pool and construction, April 2. I feel that they should have told us right then and there that there was going to be no pool. In addition, there was no access to the water from the property the water, walkway or trail was extremely short. Like I said in the beginning the place is just okay..
If you want a quiet stay with great amenities and a peaceful view this is it. Altho the complex is older the property is well maintained. This 2nd floor corner unit has amazing views. There is no central air but the ceiling fans and oscillating fan were all we needed to stay comfortable. We played the Kona Country Club golf course right next door and it was a great course. This unit is great for couples or even a family with small kids. Would definitely stay here again.

What a great experience staying at the Kailua Kona Surf and Racquet Club. The condo was welcoming when we arrived and the ocean views were spectacular. The wrap around Lani is a feature you’ll never want to leave. The kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to prepare meals, and the living spaces were comfortable. All in all a great experience.
The view is incredible! Seams like if we were in the unit, we gravitated to the wrap around balcony. We saw quite a few whales. The unit was clean. Love that it had a few beach towels, chairs and coolers. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Wonderful location out of the bustle of town yet close to shopping, dining, and adventures. Just right for our family of 4 to come back to and relax after a busy day. We saw Humpback whales and Spinner Dolphins right from the balcony. What a great vacation.
If you are looking for a place with awesome ocean views, quiet location and away from the hustle and bustle of Kona traffic this is the place to be. The condo was clean and well kept with the kitchen being well supplied. Being next to the ocean it was amazing to not only have the view, but the sounds of the waves and cool breezes were very relaxing. It has a very large covered patio that we used for our eating our meals and taking in the views. We are looking forward to our return to this condo in the future. The hosts were great and responded to any questions we had.

We have been 7 days in this very nice located unit and enjoyed our stay. Only one negative point is, that there is practically no noise isolation between units. We could hear people walking and children running in other units through the building

The view!!!! Amazing!! We saw dolphins, whales and amazing sunsets from the patio! Super clean. Some other reviews mentioned it needed updating which sure some things are a little out dated but the location, view, cleanliness and comfort of the condo was excellent!! It was also well stocked with beach items and things like a cooler which was great to have on hand. The rental company was super responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay again!!
