Other than no salt and pepper, everything else in the kitchen was great. Comfortable bed, good patio furniture, loved having the beach chairs and cooler. Awesome views from the patio and great location.
My husband and I had an amazing stay!!! First off the north side of the island is a must see and stay area. It’s the most beautiful of the whole island in our opinion - we stayed on both the north and south side. This condo has the most breathtaking ocean & Sunset views and feels so private as it is a corner unit. We watched numerous rainbows and sunsets right from the living room! Parking was easy and the area, including the walk down to what was often a little private beach, was awesome!! Now I will say this, if you are a person who needs to sleep cool or be cool then this is might not be the place for you as it does not have air conditioning and got pretty warm because we had beautiful sunny weather. It wasn’t that big of a deal for us as all the other pros definitely made up for it. We went and used the pool once and that was a nice option. This area is just breathtakingly, beautiful and a short drive to Hanalei, which had some great food and shopping. We are from Oregon so we just stayed on our time zone (3 hrs ahead) which meant we would wake up around 5:30 AM every morning and we would go to bed around 8 PM. It was perfect since the sun rises at 6:30am and sets at 6:30 PM. That was the best tip that we received and made our days feel longer and was perfect since there isn’t much to do at night. This condo is a little slice of heaven and we are so happy we booked it! Thank you for sharing your little paradise with us!
This was a perfect location for us, a relatively quiet property with beautiful cliffside views and easy access to the small beach. We spent 10 days on the island and never felt a need to go farther than just a few miles down the road to access great beaches, fun hikes, good food, etc., but it was also great just to sip coffee/drinks while watching the ocean.
The views are even better in person! Such an amazing place!
Wow. Stunning hilltop views of hanalei bay and coastline. Spectacular nightly sunsets from lanai. Quiet and serene. A few Nene pairs arrive to spend their evenings. July coastal breeze made air-conditioning irrelevant. Unpretentious. If we ever return, this is our place. Mahalo for sharing.
This is a great one bedroom unit with unbeatable views! Check in and check out was easy and the unit was very cute and clean! I especially loved the paved pathway down to Hideaways Beach where the snorkeling was incredible!

Would never stay anywhere else when we come back to Princeville or honestly anywhere in North Kauai. The pictures on this listing are nice, but are no where close to in person. It is pure paradise and every night when we sat outside we couldn't believe we were actually there. The view is breathtaking and we seriously think in our opinion it was one of the best in Kauai. If not the best. It had everything you could think of. We really appreciate the beach chairs and umbrella, so we never had to buy any. The condo was clean and spacious for the two of us. The only thing we were worried about was it having no AC. Thank goodness our worries were unfounded. We never got hot and there was always a natural breeze. We also took advantage of all 3 fans in the bedroom at night. So very thankful that owners give average people like us the opportunity to rent their places. We felt like millionaires and the luckiest people in the world being able to stay in a place with views like that. Also..really nice having a washer and dryer!

We very much enjoyed this unit on the cliffs of Princeville. Excellent location beat Hideaways Beach and minutes from Hanalei Bay. We found the kitchen well appointed and the unit very comfortable. We will return!
Very nice condo with excellent views. As previous reviews have mentioned, the living room is a little cluttered with furniture and it would be great if they got a new coffee maker. Other than those two issues, a wonderful place to spend a week.
This beautiful condo has the same furniture it did many years ago. The living room furniture is too big and cluttered for comfort, we had to rearrange everything and stack some pieces in the corner. The mattress is old and there are missing and mismatched appliances in the cupboards. Many drawers and cabinets are stuffed full of old broken games and junk collected over the years, including old eyeglass cases and other personal stuff. The owners need to come in here and clean everything out to justify the cost to stay here. That said the view was gorgeous and this property is fantastic .

My husband and I booked this property because it had an amazing view of Bali Hai, was in a perfect location in Princeville, had a full kitchen and a washer/dryer as well as a beautiful pool and hot tub. LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay -- thank you for making our 20th anniversary celebration perfect!! :)

Pali ke kua # 118 is the perfect place to stay on the north shore of Kauai. If you book this unit you will not be disappointed. My husband and I have stayed in #118 three times, and it is perfect. The location can’t be beat! It’s a corner unit with a gorgeous view of the sunset each night. It is very clean and the kitchen is well equipped, and it’s just the right size for 2 people. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for, and you are close to several fantastic beaches. Hideaways Beach is within walking distance and we saw a Hawaiian monk seal sunning itself. The pizza at the on-site restaurant is great, and you can stock up on groceries at the Walmart or Costco near Lihue on your way to Princeville. Otherwise there is a close grocery store just minutes away. We can’t wait to return to Kauai. This place is our favorite vacation destination because it is peaceful, serene, quiet, and the natural beauty is unparalleled. Angela from Re/Max Kauai was also a delight to work with. She was very accessible and friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

The location and the views are breathtaking! The condo was perfect for my husband and I. Kitchen had everything we needed and wevcooked at the condo most nights while we watched the sunset. Pool is great! And Hideways was wonderful as well! We love Princeville and Pali Ke Kua ❤️ We plan to be back as soon as w can.

Starting from the beginning, the check in process wasn’t very smooth. We had to download a 3rd party app to get the check in instructions and communication of this was outside of VRBO.
Once we arrive at the rental, we were initially very impressed with the place. The views were amazing and it was in a beautiful area, but our perception changed quick when we encountered some issues.
After a little bit, we noticed that due to the tropical nature of the place there were a lot of small bugs around the property. There were a bit of gnats and flies throughout the place.
After we got settled, we see 2 cockroaches in the living area. We communicated this with management and they sent someone to drop off some traps. However, on the second night, we then again found another cockroach near our toddler’s crib. We understand it’s a tropical place, but we’ve never had this issue in the past when visiting the island. Due to the amount of bugs and dirty property, we decided that this place was not for us and left prematurely. Overall a beautiful area, but would not recommend due to the cleanliness.
Beautiful view walking distance to an uncrowded beach, we can’t wait to come back.

Fabulous views. Enjoyed whale watching from the breakfast nook and sunsets from the lanai. Kitchen well stocked with cookware and utensils. Food store within a few miles of condo so easy to pick up supplies. Beach equipment also available for use. Located within a beautiful community of condos, some residential housing, golf course, and a hotel. Very quiet. Highly recommend.
