The location was perfect ! Walk off the elevator and right to Dukes Lagoon and the beaches! The room was perfect for the 4 of us staying here! Very classic beach condo! The host was great with communication. My family and I had a wonderful stay for our first time in Hawaii!! Mahalo !
ProsGood locationPriceAmount of spaceResponsive hostConsOld Some areas were dirty ie floors, vents, carpet
Great hotel and provenance! Location was good, close to just about anything one would need. The only downside was the street noise. Even at 2:00 AM, vehicular traffic was loud.
Great place to stay, everything was within walking distance or short cab ride
We were totally satisfied with this condo very much. I brought my son and his wife and their daughter at 6 years old to Hawaii and stayed for a total of 4 people. The room size is big enough for us with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that was very convenient! The owner was very responsive to my emails in timely manner that was very helpful and supportive. The public parking lot is very close to the condo which was only 1 per hour. Vallet parking in the Ilikai Hotel where the condo is located was 45tip per day. I want to highly recommend for a family stay if you prefer in the middle of Waikiki where many good restaurants and stores are so close in the walking distance. I want to definitely come back to stay again!
Located in a great location. Owner was easy to reach and very helpful. We would stay again.
Great real 2 bed and 2 bath place. Nice and roomy as there were 4 adults in the place. Great location and hotel had good amenities. A little noisey being a city view. But enjoyed it.
There were three of us in the apartment and we had the best time. The location of the Ilikai is perfect as was the apartment. Very spacious and had everything we needed.Arvis looked after us and responded to any questions we had instantly. Was the perfect stay and would go back there tomorrow and would really recommend it.
Location was great, the booking said there was a bbq and there wasn’t, that was one of the reasons we booked it was for bbq . Communication was very good. The condo could use a good scrub and updated.
Original address of property was not the same as unseen text. Nice location but a lot of street noise. Most remotes didn’t work. Wasn’t aware of need for paid offsite parking
Spent 7 nights here on a family vacation. Room is located in the “historic” Ilikai Hotel, built in 1962. Most of the property has been renovated, this room has not. The room was nice for its age but was less than we were expecting. The dividers between the rooms are the old collapsible accordion walls, which don’t lock or latch. There are no black out curtains and there are a couple pretty bright lights outside that stay on all night so the four hour time change was hard to overcome. The location was pretty good, hotel offers valet parking and has shops and dining options in the lobby. Pools were pretty gross and made all the bathing suits stink. It’s about a half mile walk to Waikiki Beach. Room came with beach towels, two chairs, a pair of snorkel gear and a beach tent which was nice. Overall we had a good week, everything in Hawaii is expensive, this property is below average price with matching quality.
Easy walk to beach. Tons of food and shopping choices
Very responsive owner. Location was great! Unit is a little dated, beds a little uncomfortable but overall it was a pleasant stay.
We completely enjoyed our stay. Owner was very attentive to our needs. Available to promptly answer any and all questions. We will surely stay here in the future!!!!
The condominium was old, but the rooms were clean. It was in a convenient location and good for a family vacation. The communication with the property manager was prompt and helpful. The only issue we had was a stable internet connection at this property. Otherwise, it is a wonderful place.
This condo was amazing. It felt like home away home. The hotel had laundry services. We did have to buy a pot for the kitchen, but overall it was wonderful. The toilet in the north side bathroom leaked on a couple of occasions and there was no tank cover on the other toilet
We just returned from a wonderful holiday at the Ilikai hotel and luxury suites. After looking at several other suites in the building, we booked suite 309 for 11 nights for my husband and I and our 3 kids (ages 9, 11 & 13), because of its large square footage compared to other units, and it was great! Suite 309 has a fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to make meals. We loved the open-air lobby at the Ilikai which led out to the harbour and onto a beautiful sandy beach and lagoon. The owner was very responsive and helpful. We contacted him a couple of times and he provided a prompt response.
While Waikiki beach is walking distance for daily outings, the beach in front of the hotel was also beautiful at all times of the day and evening. We often saw giant sea turtles swimming alongside us. On Friday evening, in the lobby there was live music and hula dancers, which we enjoyed watching as a family. We used the swimming pool, which was relaxed and not too crowded and had comfortable loungers and umbrellas.
The unit is just a short walk to the Ala Moana mall, which has a great selection of shops as well as a Foodland grocery store. We also enjoyed a variety of restaurants nearby: The Aloha Kitchen and Sunny’s Local Grind had great breakfasts as well as we found the nearby Food Trucks had good selection for the entire family.
We are definitely happy we chose the Ilikai suite 309 for our memorable family holiday and we would love to come back!
Map directions were not correct.
Photos showed a cleaner place.
Overall an ok stay
The condo was a great size and in the perfect location. Unfortunately the beds were probably the worst I have ever slept on.
Awesome place, accommodations, location. Perfect short walk to beach .
Perfect location for what we like to do. Car rental available in the lobby. Very nice eating establishments. Kitchen suited our needs.
However the carpet was stained and both mattresses in the second room need to be replaced.
The owner was very easy to work with. The unit was on the third level, so not alot of wait time in the elevators.
We loved everything about this place. Clean, functional, and great location. Owner was awesome and timely with questions. We will definitely book this again!
The unit comfortably accommodated two couples. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a few meals. Honolulu is expensive so this is a boon to those travelling on a budget. Arvis was a pleasant host and allowed us a late checkout which was appreciated. If you are looking for a clean, simple, and central Waikiki rental, this is it.
Nice location. First impression opening door, door jam filthy dirty. Furnishings are a bit outdated at the location. Flooring needs to be cleaned or replaced. The beds were very uncomfortable. I was disappointed we each had only one bath towel to use. This meant we had to do laundry more frequently. Laundry location convenient to room, but not the cleanest and no trash can in the room to empty lint from dryer.
It was a beautiful, stress free experience for what we were going through. We did do a lot of tourist things, but I don’t think you can come here without that.
This was a great location for us. Right by the beach and walking distance to the Waikiki area. It sometimes got a little noisy at night with people out on the street but turning on the AC units to just run their fans created enough white noise to block it out.
The unit was clean and tidy. Our host was responsive and helpful.
The condo is on the older side and could use some upgrades -especially windows. It’s in the Ala Moana side and on the 3rd floor so street noise can be a problem.
