We loved the location and amenities. Full kitchen and we were supplied extra items requested ahead of time. While the vents were a little dirty and the a/c blows right at the bed, the stay overall was really great. Super close to the beach, stores, walking distance Ala Moana shopping center and magic island (amazing snorkeling). There is even a Hui car share right in the building. We would stay here again.

The location is perfect, easy walk to the beach. Two camping chairs and two umbrellas were available to use. The unit has many mirrors which makes it feel spacious, this is a plus. Kitchen is stocked with plenty of various utensils but not many additional spices and things like that. Balcony had comfortable seating too. Unit had great lagoon and ocean views. Some reviews mentioned the AC unit was loud but it seemed just fine to us. As per reviews, the bed indeed was too soft. The cabinets had an old smell that didn’t go away when aired out but we got used to it. The lockbox safe was not working. Overall, a good and comfortable unit in a great location and we would stay here again.

The unit has the perfect view for Friday night fireworks. The bed was too soft to our liking, our backs were sore. The couch/pull out bed was a bit dirty and some of the kitchen cloths/potholders were dirty as well with some food on them. Lots of extra towels and blankets were available in the unit.
The apartment has a privileged view and accommodated my son, husband and me very well. The only thing that bothered us a little is that the AC is a little noisy, the building's pool doesn't have a bar or restaurant, but there is a restaurant around it. I will definitely be back! Thanks! 😊
Location and amenities great! Condo was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a lot of wear and tear on the furniture and walls could use some paint. Bed was super soft so if you need a firm mattress it might not work well for you.
This hidden gem was just what we needed! Unfortunately there is not enough space here to give a full review so I'll put my top 7.
1. Beautiful grounds that include a convenience store, ice cream shop, coffee shop, gift store, Poke takeaway, surf shop where you can book boat tours
2. Restaurant in the adjacent hotel (The Modern) that has excellent food
3. Has 2 pools! Although the unit does not have beach towels, you can get pool towels when you go down to use while you are there. You can rent beach towels at many nearby locations for beach use. Unit as 2 beach umbrellas, 2 chairs, and a boogie board that can be used
4. It is a 2 min walk to the Lagoon and it is great for young kids to play in. Kahanamoku Beach is a 3 minute walk and it is fairly quiet at this end. There is a great boardwalk that you can walk all the way to the Steak Shack
5. Has pretty much everything you need if you want to cook your own meals. Bring your own spices to save having to buy some as there is nothing provided. Also garbage bags are not provided for the unit so we just used paper bags from when we purchased other items. Ala Moana Center (mall) is a short 10 min walk
6. Friday night fireworks! We went down to the Lagoon to view but you can also from the balcony
7. Enjoying the balcony in the morning and evening
My only recommendation would be a fresh coat of paint in the bathroom, new broom that isn't so stiff, and a new mattress as it is VERY soft (my fiance had to sleep on the pullout).
We love our stay. The rental is in perfect area, everything is within walking distance. We had a wonderful time exploring the island.
I have stayed in the Ilikai many times in different condos with the same view and around the same floor. The stay was great and fun to be back again.
My suggestions are...paint the bathroom, the traffic areas have peeling paint, fix the shower head so it doesn't squeal until you get it in the right spot, flip the mattress or take off all the different mattress pads, it was soft and saggy, label the remotes, be able to use the ceiling fan and/or ac without having to unplug one or the other, yes there are beach chairs in the unit, although I bought one because I was told there weren't any. There is also a boogie board and I believe an umbrella too. Providing more and larger garbage bags would have been helpful.
The safe was easy and useful, the kitchen full of necessities, the Welcome book was very helpful, the TV was easy to navigate, there were plenty of towels and linen.
The property it self is a bit dated as is most of Waikiki and ready for a pressure wash and some fresh paint.
All the basics are there. The view and pool is amazing and the adjacent property to the hawaiin village is great as well.
Totally safe day or night 7th floor unit is high enough and there is a lovely penthouse restaurant which serves breakfast lunch and diner.
The ride up the exterior glass elevator is exhillerating to say the least.
The management encourages pictures and to explore the restaurants layout with exquisite wine encased in various glass enclosures.
I nice deep clean with mr clean or something similar would really add to the arrival experience.
Without a doubt, booking 8-10 mins the in advance you’ll get the price u need and a vacation worth going on.
The beech chairs and umbrellas were a nice added touch.

今回で3度目の利用です。毎回金曜日を含んでいる日程なので夜にはヒルトンの花火が間近に見られます。アラモアナショッピングセンターが徒歩圏内でABCもすぐそこ。ホテル内にもコンビニが有って便利です。

Booking process with host was excellent .
First impressions were ok . Air con was very noisy . Ceiling fan was used after contacting host as to how it worked .
Very few dishes ,cups and towels and of mixed types and sizes .And we were only 2 . Too many face cloths . Bath towels very small .
Toilet rolls , kitchen roll , liquid soap and dishwasher tablets provided.
Overall we had a comfortable stay apart from the bedding which didn't fit and was extremely annoying . Sunbed on balcony was broken and dirty .

We chose this location for a 10 night stay. Our family of four were very comfortable as my wife and I enjoyed the king bed and our teens used the sofa sleeper and smaller futon. The property manager always responded promptly when we had a question prior to the visit. From this unit there is a perfect view of Friday night fireworks at the Hilton Lagoon. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our 9-night stay at Ilikai apartment 730. The unit had everything we needed. It had toilet paper (3 rolls), paper towels (1 roll), dish soap, and dishwashing pods. The unit had 4 towels, 4 hand towels, and 4 washcloths. Extra sheets, blankets, hangers, a safe, baskets, and drawers for clothes were in the closet. No beach towels are included and very limited beach items. I believe there was a small beach umbrella, two chairs, and a boogie board. The AC unit was kind of loud but after a few days you got used to it. Take it off of "Saver Mode" and it works great and doesn't seem to be as loud. The curtains are very thin and are not blackout, so at night, it is very bright. The location was fabulous and a short walk to the beach, eateries, and of course, ABC Stores. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

We enjoyed staying her with such and amazing views and super easy acess to get to the beach. It was perfect size for our family of 3. Parking is difficult and can be expensive so we learned to park in the free parking during the day then more to the paid lot's at night. Other than that it was the best vacation our family has had. We would definitely stay again

I have stayed at the Ilikai numerous times both thru the resort and spa side of the hotel and a number of vacation rentals. The location is perfect, you can see the fireworks from your balcony, the food pantry is a few block away on Holbron. The property was clean, the bed was very comfortable. There was a situation with the AC unit that brought security twice to my room - property manager dealt with it right away - the drip pan was not large enough so i had to empty the pan twice a day and change out some towels as the excess water was dripping to balconies below. The unit was partially updated (reflects the good price) really needs a good coat of fresh paint in the bathroom and bedroom. Other than that everything was great- I would definitely stay again in this room and have already recommended the unit

We’ve stayed at the Ilikai property many times. The location on the west end of Waikiki is far enough from the noise that we could enjoy peaceful time on our lanai after busy days. The property manager was communicative and helpful. Check-in process was simple and effective. Would definitely recommend.
