We really enjoyed our stay! It was clean, comfortable, and the view was great. Our check-in was easy and staff is super nice.
All around excellent. Well supplied, clean, great location. Management was responsive when air conditioner did not work and resolved satisfactorily.
Had a great stay! Easy check-in/check-out process, listing was accurate and the unit was very clean. Plenty of towels and supplies provided and we were greeted with nice welcome gift! A/C was wonderful and having coffee on the lanai every morning with oceanfront views was amazing!! The building itself is old and when we arrived the water heater was broke (so nothing but cold water for about a day), but it was fixed fairly quickly and no other issues. We stayed here for easy access to the beach, but most everything else requires driving.
We enjoyed our stay at the Sugar Beach Condos. Nothing could compare to the amazing view! But the condo was cozy, clean and well appointed. Very comfortable bed. Nice bonus that there was shampoo/conditioner/lotion for the guests. Check in/out was a bit rigid. But we were still able to check in a few hours early and check out an hour later. The facility itself had a beautiful pool and hot tub. Nice bonus to have a deli/bar on site as well as massage therapy and a concierge to help with activities. Easy parking. Beautiful beach to walk along! Very close to ABC store, Ululani’s Shave Ice, and Sugar Beach Bake Shop. We hope to return again sometime!
This condo is as advertised. It's well-appointed and right on the beach. We loved the location as it was central to practically any direction we wanted to go. Should we make it back to Maui, we would definitely go back to this condo.
We’ve stayed at numerous condos in Maui and 25 condos elsewhere. This property was the best equipped we have ever experienced in terms of amenities, kitchen utensils, appliances, supplies, for dishes, laundry, etc. just like being at home! It even had a safe in the bedroom. Very clean, newly upgraded, spacious and comfortable. The views from the lanai were breathtaking! Beach was amazing, miles of sand in either direction. Fantastic!!!
We enjoyed our stay at Sugar Beach Resort #328. Our unit was everything as advertized. We spent many hours using the ocean front lanai looking for whales. The Sugar Beach property and grounds was clean and well kept. The hot tub and pool were great! The beach was great for walking. We liked the location of Sugar Beach Resort with it being close to the habor for going out on whale watches. Close to restaurants and shopping as well. Hope to come back again!
Unbeatable views. Well appointed, furnished, provisioned. Bring binoculars - we saw whales every day from the lanai. Miles of beautiful sandy beach for walks. Resort is very quiet and peaceful at night - except for the sound of the waves - which we loved. Property is well maintained, nice pool, hot tub, lounge chairs, and grills. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

We enjoyed our stay, but if you are wanting to walk for exercise or to restaurants this is not an ideal location.
