The house amenities were amazing. The views from the deck were magnificent, morning and night. Soooooo relaxing. The best part was how First Island Reality handled a small issue we had. If I had a house in Hawaii they would mange it!
The house is in a great location. The view down the coast is outstanding and we spent most of our time on the lanai just looking out at it. Also did some snorkeling out in front of the house, and watching the surfers in the distance. The pool was used quite a bit as well by the younger members of our party.On the downside, I would say the kitchen was lacking somewhat. I think more equipment ( pots and pans, casserole dishes, cooking tools) is needed, especially if you are a large group. And the house can handle a large group. But on the whole, it's a great stay in a fabulous location.
Fabulous view, comfortable beds, easy access to town. Perfect for families with older kids and adults as has plenty of space for privacy as well as room to hang out together.
Property management was great to deal with letting us arrive a little earlier than expected and was prompt in getting back to us. Great location with lovely ocean views! Will be back!
It was our 50th, so we took our Son, Daughter in Law and granddaughter. I knew they would love the pool and the beautiful ocean view. It was such a peaceful experience to have our dinners on the outdoor patio listening to the surf and watching the surfers each morning while we had breakfast. We've been to the islands several times, but the Big Island was new to us.
Our family had a wonderful celebration together! Property listing & pictures depicting the home as Luxurious might have been accurate years ago, but is now in need of upgrading both inside & outside. The managing company has a fairly accurate list of items that truly need attention. To their credit, they also responded quickly to a few areas that needed immediate attention. We have stayed in many rental properties & was very surprised at the "lack of Luxurious" right down to the lack of newer towels, exterior lounge chairs, furniture upholstery. along with the Welcome gift of just a small can of macadamia nuts was a huge tell that this once Luxurious property is in much need of TLC. But, again the View was truly amazing & we made some awesome memories for a lifetime there!
Great location with amazing view of the ocean. Very private and quiet gated community.
This house was great for our family of five adults. We had plenty of room to spread out when we wanted space but the communal areas were setup for the times we wanted to be together. The view was spectacular and we appreciated that the location wasn't far from a variety of local restaurants.
Wonderful house - even better than the pictures! Loved hanging out in the great room and on the deck overlooking the beach and admiring the sunset.
