Your home away from home comes with everything you need. The fully equipped kitchen features large appliances and granite countertops. The kitchen is stocked with new small appliances, cookware and every cooking spice and gadget you need. In the beautifully furnished living room, you’ll find a large internet connected. We’ve also provided a compact washer/dryer in the unit so pack light! Ready to curl up in bed after a long day of adventures on the island? You can on a new king-size bed with premium linens with soft and firm king-size pillows. Need to charge those phones after a day of taking selfies and doing fun things? The bedside lamps have outlets and USB charging ports. Want to watch a movie in bed? We have you covered! The bedrooms have flat screen internet connected TVs. Overheated from all that fun? This beautiful, nonsmoking, fully furnished unit sleeps 6 and offers 900 square feet of roomy living space. The sofa in the living room doubles as a queen sleeper with a memory foam mattress.
You will find fluffy beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, sand toys, boogie boards, a cooler and even a wagon to cart it all to your favorite world-class beach.
On your lanai, our bar height lanai set ensures an unobstructed view. You can enjoy the sights and sounds of the blue Pacific Ocean from the kitchen, master bedroom, living room, and lanai. Open the lanai sliding glass when you go to bed and let the ocean waves lull you to sleep.
We take personal pride in keeping our home clean and well-maintained. As it is also our home away from home, we update and replace things regularly. We believe in supporting local businesses and local people. All upgrades to our home are purchased at local non-chain businesses whenever possible. Our cleaning and maintenance team are local independent owner-operated businesses and we have met with the owners personally.
This ocean-view condo is located on 13 acres of green, lush, manicured grounds with an authentic Hawaiian atmosphere. The only resort with two oceanfront pools, two spas, and two 12-hole putting greens. There are lighted tennis/pickleball courts and two ocean-side shuffleboard courts. Relax in two beach cabanas, visit the koi ponds, and BBQ on any one of the 12 gas BBQ grills. Yoga classes and weekly Mai Tai parties too!
Papakea is conveniently located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts, just minutes away from shops, restaurants and galleries in nearby Lahaina and Whaler’s Village. You are just a short walk to famous Kaanapali Beach and the boardwalk which stretches all the way south to Black Rock and beyond. You are steps from a terrific snorkeling reef, where you can swim with gorgeous fish and sea turtles. We were happy with the unit overall. We appreciated the fact that the lanai had a high table patio set! We could sit and have unobstructed views over the lanai railing! We also liked that the unit had plastic wine glasses to take to the pool, etc. We also took advantage of the beach chairs and cooler and hit the local beaches. The kitchen was well stocked, the unit was clean, and communicating with the host was very easy. Plus, the resort is in a really great location, and the grounds are very well maintained!
This residence is beautiful, perfectly placed, and the grounds of the resort is immaculate! Communications with the host was a breeze and we had a tsunami warning and a local fire causing road stoppages to deal with during our stay in Maui, and the host quickly relayed messages from the property. Property is well stocked with beach and pool necessities. Definitely recommend this place for a small family.
Awesome property with a beautiful view. Great location. Loved the koi ponds. I was disappointed in how long the dryer took to dry clothes but it was due to the type of dryer it is. We would just hand the items on the deck chairs which dried them timely. The unit was well stocked with beach items and kitchen items. Would definitely stay there again.
Wonderful stay- unit has everything you need!
Our stay was wonderful! The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable, the bathrooms were stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and the kitchen had everything you would need (& more). My family of 5 had plenty of space to relax!The view from the balcony of the pool and ocean were spectacular. The grounds of Papakea are meticulously kept, the pool, jacuzzi, and bbqs are cleaned daily. I had a question when we arrived and the host was quick to respond and follow up. We look forward to coming back!
We loves the location & resort amenities. More than both of those, workin with Jay was fantastic!! Quick, honest & accurate responses.J302 is clean and prepared for you to have a great stay beyond expectation…all the little things (extra pillows, throw blankets, etc) along with a very well stocked kitchen & family closet. Chairs, boards, books, games, food storage, spices, dish pods……just all the things to feel like home and make mom’s job easier. Jay goes the extra mile!!! Can’t wait to visit again.
We had a wonderful time in Maui! Papakea is a beautiful resort and is close to many great beaches and a convenience store. The unit was very nice and the extras (beach chairs, umbrella, cooler) made it easy to enjoy the beach comfortably.

The VRBO listing is spot on! Papakea is beautiful property. The condo was spacious, clean and well stocked. Included everything we needed for cooking in. It was so nice to have all the gear you need to go out for a long day on the beach. Highly recommended staying here. Hope to return soon and have other family and friends join us!

This condo was the absolute perfect landing spot for my family (2 kids) and husband and I. It was clean, extremely well stocked and had a great view. The frogs at night were a perfect touch. We could see whales from the lanai. The pool was clean and warm. We saw multiple rainbows from the condo too. All the staff we talked with was super friendly and helpful too. Jay was so fast getting back to us about a question we had. He was easy to work with. We would absolutely stay here again. The place was truly perfect for us.

Papakea J302 is a fabulous location and is just as is shown in the photos. Everything is very clean and all the kitchen ware and beach supplies are of a very good quality and in great condition. The air conditioning works great. It was a very quiet unit. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a two bedroom. Our family of four was very comfortable but you could easily sleep more.
We had a wonderful time at this property! The location was great, with plenty of dining options and a grocery store within walking distance. The condo was fully stocked with essentials (including toilet paper), and the beach supplies were a huge hit with our kids. We used the snorkel gear and bodyboards every day. The nearby beaches were beautiful, and we loved walking on the beach to watch the sunrise each morning. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool and the putting green, and we appreciated having golf balls and putters provided. A fantastic stay—we’d definitely return

Our time spent in Maui was indeed magical. Many thanks to Jay for providing such a warm and welcoming place. My favorite activity was sitting on the balcony and scanning the ocean for whales. We saw tails waving at us and flippers splashing the water on a regular basis. The condo had everything you might need for your stay including boogie boards, snorkel equipment and a beach cart. We were all amazed and very grateful. Mahalo.

The property had everything we needed for a fantastic vacation! With more than enough room, great on-site amenities, and a quick walk to the beach, we couldn’t have been happier. We would recommend this place for anyone who loves ocean views from the deck, everything, including restaurants and convenience stores, at your disposal, and a wonderful property manager who answered all of our questions. Plus, you can see sea turtles just a minute’s walk from the property and there are boogie boards, towels, chairs, and everything you need for a perfect beach day! We would absolutely stay here again.
Our family of 5 adults just stayed at this beautiful condo! From the minute we walked in, we noticed all the special touches that Jay had for us. Spices, coolers, boogie boards, beach chairs, and many more. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed from cooking utensils to storage containers to Ziplocks. It was clean and the view was amazing. Thank you for providing such wonderful place for our stay on Maui!
We couldn't have been happier with this condo. It is a beautiful condo with spectacular views. We enjoyed having our coffee every morning on the lanai, sunsets in the evening, and the sounds of the ocean every night as we slept. The condo is fully stocked with most necessities, toilet paper, paper towels, spices BBQ equipment. It is beautifully decorated. The location of the resort is in walking distance to snorkel store, Jave Jazz, Maui fish market, and food truck park. The grounds at Papakea are beautiful and well maintained. My husband and son loved playing on the putting green every evening. Jay was a very responsive to all our questions. We can't wait to visit the island again and we will definitly stay there again!
This condo is a great place to stay and we hope to get to stay here again. We traveled with a group which allowed us to see 2 of the other condos in the complex and between the furnishings, unobstructed view, and extras, this was the nicest of the 3. It's also super nice to not have to rent a wagon, chairs, an umbrella, boogie boards, or coolers. 5 stars.
We loved everything about this place! The condo was clean and well stocked with everything you could need including beach gear. It was quiet (except for the sound of the ocean :) ), the beds were so comfortable and the view was amazing. The facilities and grounds were beautifully kept. There isn’t much of a beach directly in front of the property, but if it is calm you can get into the water. However, there are beaches in either direction. If you are looking for great snorkeling, you will have to drive. The condos are centrally located just a short drive to Napili / Kapalua to the north and Ka’anapali to the south. Markets, restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. We will definitely be back next year!
Great place to stay, super clean , beautiful view of the ocean. Condo has a lot of accessories to use for the beach( chairs, bogey board, ice chests etc.) Will definitely be back!!

This condo was one of our family favorites! It was spacious, comfortable, had an amazing view of the ocean, was well-stocked for cooking meals at home, and had outdoor/beach gear including a very nice collapsible wagon (a must-have for making walks and beach trips with children manageable!). The resort is within walking distance of restaurants, a grocery store, snorkel-gear rental shops, and shopping. As I said in the title, we would not hesitate to recommend this condo to our family and friends or stay again ourselves, it was that comfortable, relaxing, and wonderful.
The condo is actually even nicer in person. Plenty of room for our party of 3. Everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Condo is in great condition. Roomy. Comfy bedding and the AC kept us cool. Wonderful views of the ocean from the large rear lanai as well as from the master bedroom. Will definitely be staying here again next year. The owner, Jay, is just an email away and very quick to respond. Thanks for a great stay, Jay!!!
