The Space:
Tall vaulted ceilings and wood flooring give this 1,137-square-foot top-floor condo an open, airy feel. It has one bedroom, a loft, two bathrooms, and three beds for up to six guests. The covered north-facing lanai takes in ocean, mountain, and waterfall views. A kitchen, workspace, and Pack 'n Play make the layout especially useful for families.
Guest Access:
Guests at Sunrise Hale at the Cliffs enjoy access to the shared communal pool and hot tub, plus a BBQ grill area on the resort grounds. The unit offers a private entrance, and a disabled parking spot is available on-site. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort, with paid parking off premises.
The Neighborhood:
Princeville is a lush North Shore base for travelers who want dramatic scenery and a slower island rhythm. The Cliffs Resort pairs that setting with on-site pool and hot tub time, plus yoga classes, a weekly farmers market, and food truck nights. Hanalei is nearby when you are ready for a town outing, surf-country views, and a change of pace. Back at the resort, families can use the nearby playground or head out with the provided boogie boards, beach chairs, and snorkeling gear for an active Kauai day.
Getting Around:
Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.

Check-in time: 4:00 p. m. Check-out time: 10:00 a. m. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p. m. to 8:00 a. m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Parking: a $15 plus tax per night parking fee will be collected at the Cliffs front desk upon check-in. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations. Amazing top unit with spectacular views. So spacious with truly everything we needed for our week stay with updated features, great WiFi connection and cable TVs. You’ll find beach chairs, pool toys and foam boards on the lanai- beach chairs were clutch. There was a leak in the roof from heavy rain that dripped into the kitchen. The host was very responsive and worked with us to find a resolution. When we come back to Kauai, we will make every effort to book this exact unit. Ceiling fans are in every room, and lanais. Tons of portable fans too along with endless bath and beach towels. We were so comfortable, it was hard to leave! Lots of roosters and chickens. Be prepared for their early morning noises!Huge tip: for those who have car rentals- take the vacuum and go to the grill area (next to putting greens). There are outlets you can plug the vacuum into to clean your rental so they don’t charge you for dirt/sand. Mahalo!
This rental exceeded my expectations! It had a wonderful view, great amenities, and great location! I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again. It was perfect for our family of four with 2 small children who loved having their own loft.
Great location. Condo had literally everything we needed and the view was great. Breezys food truck was awesome in the morning!
Great wifi. Clean property. Kitchen amenities were a little lacking (no wrap, foil, or zip bags). All other amenities were plenty.

The Cliffs at Princeville was a wonderful experience. The guest services are fantastic and very polite and helpful!! The activities are abundant! Swimming ,hot tubs, shuffle board, pickle ball, tennis, the grounds are well kept. They have a lot of activities throughout the week such as Mai Tais on Monday, pizza trucks, lei making, hula dancing… it goes on and on.

This property was immaculate. The family who owns it should be very proud! We fell in love with Kauai, thanks to this property. We will try like crazy to stay at this same location on our next visit to Kauai!
Loved our short stay at this property. Absolutely gorgeous location on the cliffs in Princeville. Saw some whales from the kitchen and spent the evening sitting out on the property grounds watching the sunset. The condo itself is a little outdated but extremely clean and honestly better than the pictures. The kitchen was great and well-stocked for dinner. Would stay here again.
View is amazing!
It was a short overnight stay. Short stroll to watch a beautiful sunset with the resident Nēnē geese. The unit was clean and well furnished with all the modern conveniences. Just a little challenge getting entrance to pool area without key card. Overall recommend and would stay again!!
Clean and well maintained; we did have two issues that were submitted to Vacasa and they stated that someone would come by and assist us but no one did. We did receive a call back from the maintenance but it was not until 3 days later.
It was beautiful. Some slight issues that were immediately taken care of. Loved our stay.
