Waikomo Stream Villas 122 Fish Pond View, New AC, Walk to Beach and Shopping!

We had a great stay at this property. The condo is spacious, well furnished, and the bed is extremely cozy. The host was very easy to communicate with, and helped us out right away when needed. I would recommend this property to others!

The kitchen was well supplied. Was easy to prepare meals. Beautiful host gift was waiting for us! Mahalo!

Unfortunately, we were unable to travel because my husband shredded his rotator cuff and needed surgery. The property owner was helpful and offered to work with us, which she didn't need to do, and we are very appreciative.

Check in was clear and easy; condo was conveniently located to so much on the south shore! We especially loved walking to Baby Beach. The kitchen was well stocked, bed was very comfortable and the property was fun to explore.

The place is very nice, clean, well furnished, and in a great location. So convenient to Poipu Beach and the Koloa restaurants and shops.

Our stay was excellent. The kitchen was well-equipped. The location was quiet and private. Wish we could have stayed longer.

This property is in such an ideal location for south island activities and food. Many great beaches within just a few minute drive and great food even closer. The unit included may of the necessary beach things you would want like chairs and a cooler. The only thing that wasn’t there was a beach umbrella which we were able to rent locally. AC kept the unit comfortable. Easy parking even with them resurfacing the lot while we were there. We would definitely stay here again.

This unit has everything you need, the location was good, the view of the koi pond was delightful, the bed was comfortable and the bedding was nice ( and colorful too). Area was quiet. Management was helpful. The air conditioning had mini splits in the bedroom and the living room which made the condo very comfortable. We really appreciated this. Although it is located close to shops and beaches I would still recommend driving.

This place was exactly what we wanted. It was quiet, clean and relatively affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was perfect, right next to a shopping center and close to the beach. The accommodations were great and the patio area was lovely to sit on and have your morning coffee!

You can not beat the location, walking to the Kukuiula shopping was nice. The pool was peaceful , my daughter and I enjoyed it. We will stay again in the near future.

The Waikomo Stream Villas are conveniently located and in walking distance to the shopping mall where there are many restaurants and shops. Close to Poipu beach. The unit is located close to the pool, and you can hear the calm trickling of the stream from the bedroom and family room area. You will need to climb one flight of stairs to the unit.It was fully equipped. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future.

Our week stay was relaxing and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The condo was nice, from the extra large couch to the outdoor dining table on the patio overlooking a stream.

This place was great! Perfect location on the south part of the island, close to all the Poipu beaches, shopping, restaurants, and attractions. The unit is large…every room is big! The kitchen and bathroom could use some updates but really it’s still very nice and it doesn’t take away from the experience there…comfortable, homey, functional with a wonderful island feel. And a great view out on the wonderful lanai of very lush landscape and a stream. Beautiful and relaxing. And not to mention…the AC comes in clutch!! The whole complex is quaint, lush, and has plenty of parking. We have stayed in about 5 different places in Kauai over the last two years and this one is my fav. Grab this one for sure!

Property is spacious and has everything in it. 5 min walk to a shopping center with grocery stores and restaurants. AC works well so does the WiFi too.

Fabulous location in Poipu, within walking distance of the shops at Kukui'ula. We had a really relaxing time in this space. The airflow was wonderful and in the few instances where it got a bit too humid, the AC did a nice job of cooling things down again. Lots of ceiling fans and box fans to keep the air moving. There was more than enough space for the two of us to stretch out and relax. We really enjoyed mornings on the lanai drinking our coffee and looking out at the plants and fish. The kitchen had all of the utensils we needed to make meals. Very happy about the small washer and dryer so we could do a load midway through our trip. There's some extra beach gear in the front closet. One flight of stairs to contend with if anyone has mobility issues. Abundant parking. Easy access to the pool.

The unit is very old. Updates are being made like new floors and newly painted walls and ceilings, but the kitchen, bathroom and some window and bedroom the patio screens are quite old, and literally falling apart.It was very nice that the kitchen had plastic wrap, aluminum foil and plastic storage bags but it was overstocked with items that were not needed. Every cupboard had unnecessary and duplicate things in them and no room for food. The kitchen appliances were very old, but they worked well. I like that the unit's fee included weekly cleanings however, it does look like the louver doors have not been touched in years. Caked on dust. Out of boredom, on a rainy day I made an attempt to clean some of them. The bathtub and sinks are very old, so they will never look clean. For the price I expected a little more. The apartment looked much better in the pictures.

We love our stay at the stream villas! It was so close to convenient stores, yummy restaurants, and a short walk to the beach! We recommend!

I wish I could give this rental zero stars. This was the worst vacation rental experience I’ve ever had. The property was infested with roaches—they were everywhere: in the kitchen, cabinets, bathroom, and even behind the bathroom mirror. To top it off, two roaches flew over and landed on us while we sat on the couch. It was absolutely disgusting. I sent pictures of the infestation to the host (property mgr) the very night we checked-in. While they responded the next morning, their solution? Roach traps and a false promise of sending pest control (they never showed up for the entire stay). That’s it. No attempt to make things right, no follow-up. Unfortunately, it was New Year’s weekend, and everything else was booked, so we were forced to stay for four miserable nights. To top it off, when we got home, we found roaches in our luggage. AVOID this rental at all costs—it’s a COMPLETE DISASTER.

This unit was great overall - amenities, communication, view out the balcony. AC worked well. However, there are some small areas that were stained/dirty and need attention, and the dishwasher had a leak. I contacted the realty association that rents it out, so hopefully they will be fixed. Also, the table on the balcony is not level, so watch your fruit so it doesn't roll off :)

Although we only stayed for one short night, the property was clean, quiet, and exactly what we expected.

My family had a wonderful stay at Waikaomo Stream Villas. Beautiful gardens . Loved listening to the frogs by the stream at night. Had some electrical problems but the management responded to our messages right a way. We were a little bummed about no jacuzzi since it looked there was one in the photos. Overall a good experience.

This was a great stay for us!! Everything you need for cooking and a really comfortable bed. The property has tons of plants and a cool stream with lots of fish :)

It was a good place for the money - it was really just a place to sleep but it was very outdated and the lighting in the bathroom is horrible. If you are looking for something a little more "honeymoon" style, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a place to sleep that is convenient to beaches and shopping, then this is your place. We didn't have an issue with mosquitos and the frogs didn't bother us. It was overall "clean", minus a few cockroaches and the broken cabinet door...again incredibly outdated making the pace feel a bit dark and damp. The fan in the bathroom doesn't work and it takes a while for the lights to fully come on so getting ready in there was a little rough at times. The couch was comfortable and the balcony was pretty overlooking the stream although the AC unit is on the balcony so keep that in mind as far as noise if you have it running. Again - an okay place to just sleep and get out to explore. The snorkeling gear and beach chairs were a good perk. There wasn't a beach umbrella but there was a backpack cooler available.

The toilet had a super weak flush. One of the cabinet doors in the kitchen was broken off in the condo when I arrived and was just laying there inside the cabinet. The window sills by the front door seem to have been roughed up quite a bit by the rain coming through over the years and has some discoloration that is concerning for the health of those staying there.

Large condo super close to Poipu Beach, perfect for couples!

I have never stayed at these rentals before nor have I ever seen them and I was very impressed. The location and view from our room was BEAUITFUL and everything was as described. The AC was a huge plus and loved how spacious and clean the rental was. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location.

This home is quite spacious which was wonderful! I assumed this was on the first floor, but it's actually in building one and on the second floor which was difficult for my elderly mother, so would've appreciated that being stated a little more clearly. I wish the front windows were not glass shutters as you can see straight into the apartment from the front of the property and there were no curtains there (but had some for the patio). Was a decent stay for the price, but not the nicest of our stays on the island.

Easy to find and centrally located by Poipu Beach, shopping centres and old Koloa. The condo was very clean and well-appointed. We had everything we needed, including the thoughtfully provided ear plugs for the cane frogs. (The cane frogs mate at the full moon, which we experienced- and you 100% need those ear plugs. They were SO LOUD! They could be heard with the windows closed and the a/c running.) We accidentally locked ourselves out one afternoon and Kristen was able to help us get back inside in less than 10 minutes. Would stay here again.

Family of 4 (with 9 years old twins) found this place to be a very comfortable home away-from-home. The apartment had everything what we needed to make it comfortable stay. It is older and can use some upgrades. Location was great. So close to best beach and to shopping centers. We would consider staying here again. Thank you.

It came with 4-5 beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear, towels. They left a beautiful gift with some Kauai cookies and chocolate and coffee. Only thing we’d request is a fire stick for the TV to watch Netflix. Staying here made it very hard to go home. We’d definitely stay again!

Location is good, condo is spacious, has new laminate floors, except kitchen & bath, and the AC in the livingroom & bedroom worked great. The entry, bedroom and livingroom also had ceiling fans. condo was sufficiently cleaned. One decent sized, but dated, bathroom with a tub and removable shower wand and single sink. The bathroom ceiling fan doesn't work. There is only one electrical outlet . The door is a tropical, louvered wood style so keep this in mind for privacy. Kitchen is galley style with what looks to be original cabinets and finishes and the cabinet interiors are in need of a really good deep cleaning to remove the old food oders and musty smell. DW is newer but only 2 of the stove burners worked, the non stick pots and pans were very worn and not usable for cooking. We could only find two electrical outlets in the kitchen. There was a drip coffee pot, electric tea kettle, toaster, rice cooker and microwave. Stackable washer & dryer was sufficient and located in the bathroom. The dryer vent circulates back into the bathroom when being used. The frogs come out at sundown, are very loud, and right outside the bedroom so bring earplugs . The bedroom did have a sound machine for use . The mosquitos are very present on the property so bring some repellent for sitting on the balcony, at the pool or bbq area. The pool is a good size and clean, but the lounge chairs were dirty so we brought extra towels to cover them . Parking was not an issue.

It was sufficient for what we needed. Nothing fancy just a place to sleep and prepare meals so we can enjoy all the adventures and beauty of Kauai.

We chose the property to attend our niece’s wedding in Poipu. Also, got to see most of Kauai including Waimea Canyon, Kilauea Lighthouse, and Poipu Beach. Property was very clean and was completely stocked with everything we needed for the week. Just needed to unpack and buy some food.

Stayed with a friend for a long weekend. Facility had everything we needed and was clean and quiet.
