The heat did not turn on in the hot tub and pool till after 3:30 with children that wanted to swim all day that was very disappointing The room was advertised as having two queen beds in one room it only had one with a pull out sofa. We were told that we had parking for two cars but only had 1 in the resort, the other was street parking. There were not ample towels provided, with only 6 bath towels and 4 beach towels for 6 people in the room, 4 of them women. I original search was for only rooms with A/C but the room only provided stand up fans.
Great condo with a pool and hot tub very close by. It worked very well for us and everything was in good working order. I would stay here again. Just a heads up that there is no AC but there are plenty of fans (ceiling and free standing) and the breeze was nice almost the entire time we were there. The main downside with relying on having the windows open all night is that the golf course grounds crew started around 6 am on some of the mornings. The fans do drown out most of the lawn mower noise, though.
My family had a wonderful time. Did a lot of sight seeing. I enjoy cooking and the condo had all the necessities. Maybe a slow cooker could be added.Initially I thought the condo was clean but after closer inspection a few things could be better. But a Ryobi tile scrubber and use it in the shower. And the shower Matt's need replaced. A few other upgrades should be the beach equipment. Boogy boards are cracked, beach chairs and Matt are needing replacing. And the bifold doors need placed in the tracks. If we planned on staying in the condo all day these would bother me but we were out more than in. These are only recommendations
I love the location- it’s central to everything we wanted to visit on the island!
We loved being located in a central area to make all the day-trips and beach trips. We loved having all the bedrooms and bathrooms. The shower tiles were pretty. The kitchen was decently stocked. We shared meals, cocktails and laughs on the lanai daily.
The apartment has everything as described and shown on the pictures. It was cleaned and had everything needed for our group. We visited end on May/beginning of June, we felt comfortable with the temperature, a lot of breeze and the location was really convenient the sport event we attended. We did not use the facilities of the complex but they seemed really nice. Walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop and couple of restaurants. I would recommend staying in this place.
We struggled with the review for this rental so we will just list the pros and cons.Pros: Beautiful view from porch overlooking golf course and ocean. The kitchen and bathrooms are updated and clean. The beds are comfortable and linens were clean. Cons: All of the chair and couch cushions were filthy and had a musty smell and should be replaced. The stair railing to the loft was filthy. There is no air conditioning and we were there on a very warm weekend. Plenty of fans but all were covered in dust and dirt. In addition tv remote batteries were dead, light bulbs that didn’t work and furniture that needs to be replaced. Overall it needs a deep thorough cleaning and some attention to details.
Peaceful neighborhood, beautiful home and landscaping, close to a variety of things to do with the family. We had a wonderful stay.
Only one big downer was the lady kicking us out of the pool area BEFORE closing time. She was super rude too!!!!
The property was conveniently located and well appointed. Instructions for check in and using. the pool and amenities
We have been going to BI every year for 12 + years, we stay in the same complex Waikoloa Villas but in different condos depending on who's going. This complex is great for 30min from everything..Kona/ Waimea for shopping close to great beaches and the excursion in the area are great. Golf is outside your front door It's a little quieter not a lot of night life if that what your looking for. Have a great time where ever you stay..
Home is in a nice quiet golf course. We were there Monday to Friday and had exactly what we needed for our stay. Home was packed with enough kitchen and bathroom supplies. Home had enough room for all of us to gather after along busy day. Everything was very clean and organized. Only thing I would tell future guest is that the streets getting to the house at night are very dark. And that there is a very close grocery store just 4 minutes away for any food needs.
Beautiful views of the golf course with the ocean in the background. Wonderful island breeze kept us cool!
The property was as pictured and described. We were not there much. But, the evenings were cool so the no air-conditioning didn't bother us. The lanai was our favorite. If you have heavy suitcases the stairs to the unit may be an issue.
We were very pleased with the unit. It was clean, well stocked and comfortable.
The bathrooms are super tiny. Other than that, I loved how things were available for us to use. Such as floaters and stuff for the kids, a ball, an air fryer, rice cooker, some condiments, a small mirror, pods and dryer sheets to wash clothes. I loved the price and the amount of space it had for us as a family. The loft was my fave and that there were 3 bathrooms. Even with no AC, I'd stay here again. It was windy there and a lot of fans were available.
Surface cleaning was acceptable but the unit needs a deep spring clean; lights, fans, upholstery and carpet on stairs to loft. The local Vacasa agent was helpful and responsive to my texts.
