Beautiful and comfortable accommodation.
Entire single family home in a quiet community. Access to nearby recreational center and pool. Great accommodations. Good for families and friends. Will gladly stay here again when visiting the Big Island!
Was a very beautiful home ..not very toddler safe (stairs) but we loved the location and waking up to ocean and sunset views !
Good location. Stark and minimal accomadations but were were comfortable for three nights. Needs more attention to details; minor issues with lights not working, dirty/moldy shower curtain, and intermittent TV cable.
This was a good place for 3 couples to share. Waikaloa Village has easy access to many of our favorite beaches. The only downside was that it is managed by Vacasa, our least favorite vacation rental management company. Half the lightbulbs in the kitchen were out as well as one in the bedroom. The can openers were almost unusable even by very strong men. Apparently there was a new dishwasher because the silverware holder was strapped to the back of the dishwasher with the folding basket tops against the front making it impossible to use without getting it set up right. The shower curtain in the tiny master shower dragged on the floor by 8" making the shower seem even smaller. We reached out to Vacasa and were assured that local management would fix things. They did nothing, so we are bringing it up here. Its not a big deal and we enjoyed the views of the ocean and the spacious nature of the house.
This home was a great location for our family during our vacation. The neighborhood is quiet, the house cools off fast with the fans and windows open, lots of space for the kiddos to move around, close to all the adventures on the island.
nice home in quiet neighborhood
The home was very nice; however, it lacked what most rentals have, i.e. only 4 hangers/closet; no bathmats, no luggage stands, no extra linens, only 2 pillows/queen bed, no hotel size soap to tied us over at least 1st night, 2 pool/golf/tennis passes (should be 4-5), no steak knives or paring knives, light bulbs missing in lamps, can open was broken, dryer vent outside was full (fire hazard), and lastly the security code to get in was 9 digits and I was the only one who could get it to work after 3 tries. They sent over bathmats, light bulbs, extra pillowcases, a bunch of small hotel bottled soaps and shampoos, hangers, and luggage racks the following day after they received my txt asking how we found the rental. Lanai furniture cushions were lacking, and the couch was useless to sit on.
We loved this house! It was clean, roomy, and we liked staying in the neighborhood rather than at a resort. Although it got pretty hot inside, the midafternoon breezes cooled the house well.
Large house in good condition. Beautiful ocean views. Kitchen appliances are fairly new and worked great. Garage parking was nice (no garage door, but still better parking than most vacation rentals). Was worried about no AC, but if you open all the windows (and there are a lot of windows) it cools down pretty good, especially at night.
I loved how comfy the living room furniture was, how spacious the home is, and how the breeze flowed through the home when the doors and windows were open. Loved making memories with my family.
