This Waikoloa luxury villa is a 10,000 square foot 7-bedroom estate designed for large families and groups, blending open-air island architecture with slate and mahogany finishes. The grand living room and gourmet kitchen open to expansive lanais, a pool, spa, waterfall, waterslide, and diving board - creating a private water park atmosphere. Multiple wings provide privacy with en-suite bedrooms, media room, and library, while the master suite offers dual showers, jacuzzi, and private terrace. With dining for groups, game room, beach gear, and ocean breezes, this villa is the ultimate tropical retreat.
This stunning 10,000 square foot, slate and mahogany floored, 7-bedroom open air Villa is your own private paradise. Enter the expansive foyer through the beautiful etched glass double doors to step down into the 2 1/2 story living room capped with a traditional Hawaiian wooden ceiling and clerestory windows, and bordered by sliding glass doors leading to the central lanai with views of the pool and spa. From this central location the expansive gourmet kitchen with bar seating for 8, three refrigerators and a professional 6-burner gas stove opens to the right. Beyond the kitchen is the separate dining room, with cathedral wooden ceiling, and surrounded on three sides with sliding glass doors opening to the lanai.
Opposite the kitchen/ dining room wing is the master bedroom suite. The bedroom itself is two-stories high, again with the traditional wooden ceiling and clerestory windows. Mirroring the dining room architecture, the master bedroom also has three walls of sliding glass doors opening both to the central lanai and to a private terrace. The master bath features two enclosed lavatories, an expansive closet, opposing dual sinks and counters, indoor and outdoor showers and an indoor jacuzzi.
The central or lower lanai has a barbecue, beverage cooler, and three tables for al fresco dining for large groups. An 8-person outdoor spa featuring two 6 -foot- deep wells, and a 15-meter long, 8-foot deep true swimming pool, with waterfall, water slide and 1 1/2-meter high diving board provide your own private water park.
Another wing of the villa branches off the living room and provides wonderful separation for multi-generational families or large groups seeking privacy and the ability to accommodate differing, simultaneous activities. Three bedrooms, again with wooden cathedral ceilings, en suite baths, and private outdoor access, fan off a central library area. An adjoining two-story media room with TV and stereo complete this versatile, private wing.
The Villa has two additional bedrooms on the main floor, each with vaulted, wooden-coffered ceilings and en suite baths, and a charming 'hideaway' bedroom opening on to the upper lanai and taking advantage of the ocean view and tropical breezes.
While attending to your laundry using the Villa's two washing machines and dryers, grab a game of pool or settle down to a friendly game of poker. Boogie boards and other beach equipment should make your stay in the Villa and your visit to the Island a truly memorable one.

This was a perfect spot for our family vacation. We had a party at 12 and the rooms/beds were plenty. The home is beautiful. The rooms are large. The home was very clean. The kids love the pool. It was close to all the amenities that we were used to. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this villa for family reunions
9 adults and 2 children and plenty of space for everyone! We enjoyed our week here and loved the property. Pool was so fun, lots of space inside and outside, and great location. Beach Club access. We rented a golf cart from the shop at Mauna Lani and it was fun to have it for quick trips to beach and store. Photos don’t do this property justice. It’s really a great home!
Our party of thirteen had a great time in Hale Lalana. The property is in a great location, close to the best beaches and easy grocery shopping. Lush tropical foliage provides privacy as well as an exotic ambiente. Great kitchen, ideal for group meal preparation and socializing. The manager and owner were highly responsive to the couple small issues we had. Highly recommended!
There were 13 of us celebrating my wife’s birthday. The house was amazing, great location, the pool and hot tub were exactly behave needed. Love the Big Island
Everything was great except the 7th “bedroom “ had no closet or bathroom. It should be stated as such in the website description. As it was, we put one of the kids in there and he was fine. All in all, the property met our needs. Great kitchen and outdoor pool area.
House was perfect for the 8 of us playing golf for a week. House is in a great are and very private. We had some technical difficulties with the TV and internet system but Nathalie the house manager was great and was on top of the situation. System was fixed and everything went well. Pool and spa were great. The only negative is Kona itself. Lack of reasonably priced places to eat and many closed businesses forced us to cook at home almost every night.
We had a great time. This place was fantastic for an inter generational family gathering and had everything we could hope for to enjoy our time there. The house manager was helpful and responded quickly to questions. The house is well appointed and better than the pictures.
Words cannot fully express how wonderful our stay at Hale Lalama was. We gathered with our family (12 adults total) for a weeklong celebration of my husband’s birthday and our anniversary. Hale Lalama was just as described and more. The home was immaculate when we arrived, and the gourmet kitchen, bedroom/bathrooms, living area, pool and all the appliances, cookware and dishes, games, and pool toys available for us to use were amazing! Then hospitality of the owner and the property manager will always be remembered. Both responded immediately to any questions I had, and truly showed aloha in all that they did for us. The Property Manager greeted us and helped us get acquainted with the property and surrounding area, and met us again when we checked out. Such a lovely person! Hale Lalama was the perfect place for us to gather with our loved ones to celebrate. The property gave us all a feeling of peace and serenity, in addition to joy and relaxation. Mahalo, Suzanne and Bernice. Our stay at Hale Lalama was one we will all remember fondly.
Amazing property for a family! Extremely well appointed with every kitchen gadget imaginable and plenty of spices, paper towels, beach/pool toys. Three refrigerators for a BIG trip to Costco. Short walk to shops and private beaches. Highly recommend this home for a family getaway to Hawaii A Thank you to the owners for sharing this special place with us for the week
Fantastic house. Our children and grandchildren love the pool with a great water slide and diving board. When we were at the house all of them were having a great time in pool. The house was very nice and accommodated all 14 of us. Great place to prepare dinner for around the pool, or up on the deck for a great view. Renting golf carts for frequent trips to the Mauna Lani private beach and also to a very convenient grocery store.
