Ilikai 1212 Ocean / Lagoon / King Bed, Sofa Bed

Dirty furniture, no end tables, dark (needs lamps), cable equipment just piled in a basket, 2 of 4 remotes had dead batteries, very outdated decor, medicine cabinet molding loose, window AC unit runs non stop. Fortunately it had a beach view. For being part of Ilikai "luxury" rooms and suites we were disappointed. .

Condo was clean. The room is somewhat dated. The bed was comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. The AC worked fine. We suggest adding an oscillating fan to help cold air get in the bedroom area. Check in and out was very easy. We did have to call for beach towels. Overall the stay was great. The restaurant was very good.

We chose to stay in this condo due to location in the building and location on the beach. Things we liked about it:-right next to elevator and laundry (didn’t notice extra noise) -close walk to beach- offered two beds the main king and the pull out sofa with wall divider - stocked with all the kitchen items needed - room did have two beach umbrellas and 6 beach chairs. - communication with owner was fairly quick (when it came to things they wanted to respond to) Issued we had:- room wasn’t super clean, notified owner they did offer to send someone to re clean - room wasn’t stocked when we arrived-no extra sheets in room for sofa bed, thankfully able to get some from house keeping while they were stocking bathroom.- BALCONY PARENTS WITH LITTLE KIDDOS - the balcony railing has openings of 5.5” wide, my one year old was able to fit his head through it which was so scary. This caused a lot of anxiety. We had to keep our son off balcony as much as we could, or while we were out there we had to rearrange furniture to create a barrier so he couldn’t get to it. This caused a lot of anxiety. Code for railings is 4” wide openings. I did write the owner in regards to this and they did not respond. They definitely should put up some sort of net or something before someone gets hurt. - room didn’t have a pack n play but we did purchase one and we left it in the room in hopes another family would be able to use it. - the room did not have extra sheets in it

Felt like home view was nice and walkable to everything. Would recommend it and will be back

My husband and I stayed here for 1 week with our 10 month old baby. The Ilikai hotel is really nice and in a great location. The lobby is nice and there is a great coffee shop, ice cream shop, and poke place right inside. The unit itself is a nice space with a great view. The furniture is a bit dated, but we don’t mind that much. However, the floors were very dirty. Within the first few hours of unpacking our suitcases and getting settled we noticed that the bottom of our feet were completely black and filthy. I’m glad we brought our pack and play because we were not able to put our crawling baby down on the floor. I understand that this is a beach location and some sand will be tracked in, but this was not just beach sand. The floors were incredibly dirty and that was disappointing.

I enjoyed the room with a great view. Very clean.

Lovely apartment Fabulous location

It was horrible, the strikers next door at the Hilton were banging drums, screaming through electric megaphones And beating on drums while screaming at the hotels made our lives unbearable.

The view was absolutely amazing. The property manager was very helpful and was easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful vacation and stay!

Had a wonderful stay. Great location great condo

My stay here was lovely as the views from the lanai were amazing each morning and throughout the days into evening. The pool is heated so great for morning swim if you want to do laps and also in the day just to relax by. The staff in the hotel are so friendly and helpful but you can also google everything too. The suite was clean and spacious for 2 with a full kitchen. It's also very quiet at night so that was a nice surprise and there were fireworks over the lagoon on Friday and a special bonus one on Thursday. There are also luau's on the roof of other hotels but they are done by 8pm, and fun to watch and listen to though.. The hotel has bus service out front which is really easy to use- 3$ no change given and the drivers are also helpful. The stores down in the lobby are open early but the ABC down on corner is like a mini Walmart, it's great. We had breakfast in the top restaurant, Peca was great and again, the views were amazing. Coffee shop is open early in the lobby but if you want to just get coffee from anywhere like Honolulu cafe and get some good honey at the store.. Also - amazing breakfast places close by- Sunny's, Eggs n things and we had dinner at Sunny's too, not expensive and delicious.. In the hotel, better to take the bather's elevator when going to the pool or beach and it's usually faster The only flaw I found in the place was the sofa bed- the bar in the middle is not great but expected with an older sofa bed. Overall, was great!

Older but clean and very serviceable unit in our favorite area of Waikiki. We enjoyed our stay.

The view is amazing!!! 10/10 The rest is trash. Use a different room. THE ROOM FLOOR - so dirty (only on the tile part) we are from Canada and we never understood why Americans keep their shoes on in the house. I understand now. Disgusting tiles. There’s also a fake wood floor that’s nice and clean. KITCHEN Appliances were clean and new. The wall beside the stove is galvanized metal and dirty. It touches the stove. Doesn’t come clean. Has a breaker for electrical stuff. The range is filthy. Turn on the vent fan and dust gets all over the place (in your food). There’s no safe for you to use. But there’s about 5 large locked storage cabinets for the property managers or owner to use. BEDS They didn’t have sheets for the sofa bed. The king bed is good. BATHROOM / WASHROOM The floor is so dirty and gross again with the tiles. Eww Overall property is painted and repaired and renovated really poorly. SIGNS There’s rules they don’t show you in the listing page. DO NOT DO THIS …. They have WARNING signs even for the toilet. The fridge. The AC basically everything you would use daily. The AC is so loud. The Toilet cry’s loudly when you flush it. THE LAYOUT you’re right beside the elevator. The bathers elevator. The laundry room. It’s noisy. The power went out for 3 days (unplanned and planned by the building) there were power fluctuations for 2 other days. I WILL NOT STAY AT THIS SUITE, BUILDING AGAIN. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE STAY FOR A FAMILY.
