Damage & House Rules Policy / Guest Responsibilities.
We inspect every condo at every check out. We again inspect every condo before every Guest Arrival.
We have documentation for each condo to assure the condo is good condition and working order before your arrival.
1) Guest is responsible to pay for any missing/broken/damaged items, extra check out cleaning & for a drain or toilet that requires clearing due to Guest clogging the drain or toilet. Every condo has a plunger for the toilet. If you clog the toilet, please use the plunger provided. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 2) Do not use the Kitchen Sink Garbage disposal for potato peels, fruit rinds, banana peels, pineapples, egg shells, noodles, rice etc. Calling a Plumber is a Guest Expense. 3) Sand: Please rinse off all sand (self and gear) before entering the hotel/condo (there are rinsing stations at the beach) to avoid extra cleaning fee and clogging the shower drains. 4) Lanai: Please do not hang towels or other items from the lanai. Please do not feed the birds. 5) No smoking in condo, on lanai or in common areas. Guest charged to have upholstery, drapes and linens cleaned, deodorized. 6) Guest responsible to pay for locksmith if they lock themselves out the of the bathrooms or damage a lock.
CANCELLATIONS:
1) Reservation deposit is non-refundable. 2) Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the check in date can have the deposit applied to another stay at the same condo within one year of the original check in date. 3) Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit. 4) Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to check in will forfeit deposit and rental balance payment. 5) We strongly encourage you to get travel insurance so a cancellation can be recovered.
Rentals are not transferable to another party.

We love the view from our balcony of the marina and the hotel is located a short walk to beaches and close to nightlife and excellent shopping. The Massive and famous restaurant Alamoan Mall is a 10 minute walk away. The unit itself is nicely decorated and well equipped for longer stays. The hotel while older is kept wonderfully maintained. Overall this is a wonderful property for those wanting to experience the true Waikīkī experience.
The apartment itself was great - the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary supplies to cook anything and all the appliances were in excellent working order. It looked newly updated and was clean.The bathroom was nice and had some shampoo, conditioner, and lotions. No fan in the bathroom.The apartment was nicer and cleaner and more recently updated than the hotel itself. The AC couldn’t quite keep up in the hot afternoon (probably due to west facing windows) but did okay.The walk to the beach is moderate but is a nice area for kids. Pool is not fun for kids.Overall good place to stay, but maybe not the best for kids.
I am in Honolulu often as my son and daughter in law live there and decided to try a condo at the Ilikai. The condo was spacious with a full kitchen. It was very clean and well appointed. I really enjoyed the lanai and the views. My only complaint would be that the pools at the building aren’t great. The main pool is very crowded and reminded me of a community pool not a resort pool. The pool on the second level was much better and less crowded but the pool itself is like a kiddy pool or just a splash pool so not great for adults who would like to swim.
The property is exactly as advertised and photographed. The view is outstanding as is the location. Communications are clear and hassle free. The whole experience is great value.
Great stay! Lovely sunsets, beautiful property, good location, friendly staff. Bring some patience for the elevators. It’s busy as you might expect. Overall it was wonderful!!!!
Loved view, visited this hotel, many time is last 5 years, rented many different options, this was good for relaxing with coffee on balcony every morning.
Great location. Nice view of marina and water. Comfortable bed and very well equipped kitchen. Only complaint is what others have said. The over sized table on the balcony is a real problem. Get a smaller table and a few chaise lounges. That was my only complaint and the owner really should fix that.
We enjoyed staying at this property. The check-in process was simple and the communication with the property management team was excellent. They honored our special request prior to arrival, and everything was very good. Room interior: Clean. Nicely decorated modern furniture as you see in the pictures. The bed was comfortable. Some suggestions for improvement that we would recommend: First, (and this is consistent with other reviews) the balcony table is way too large for the space!! It actually takes away from the wonderful esthetics the balcony offers. It is a garden table that takes almost a 3rd of the balcony rendering that part of the balcony unusable. We highly recommend removing it and replacing it with smaller round table similar to other condos in the building. Second (and this is systematic with the building) pigeon droppings covered one corner of the balcony, but the large table was in the way anyway so it didn't affect us much other than cleaning the rails were we sat. Third, the AC unit is a bit loud, but not too bad, however it blows right into the couch (even if redirected) making us question the wisdom of the couche's placement (we avoided using it). Please keep in mind that these were relatively minor issues for us but if addressed could make this unit a gem!! We also had nice beach chairs which was a major plus. Towels, soaps etc. all good enough for us. TV instructions were good and WiFi very good as well. Wonderful location & views!!

Unit was very clean. Newer appliances with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately the pigeons make a mess on the balcony daily. Not that there is much that an owner can do about it. My only suggestion would be for a 9 night stay more than 2 rolls of very thin toilet paper :)
Great location to see this island.
We love the unit overall. Table on lanai was way too large for the space. Mismatched furniture was odd, king bed was comfortable except for pull out drawers at foot of bed that we bumped our toes on. It’s a convenient location, parked above red lobster for $28 a day. This is and excellent budget rental.
This unit was perfect for what we needed. Clean and the view is spectacular. Thank you very much for accommodating us.
It showed on the listing that it's good for 4 people. But it's not. The sofa bed doen't turn into bed. One person has to sleep on the sofa technically. Totally not comfortable :-(
Beautiful view, updated kitchen, comfy bed and big TV! Property manager was quick in responses and very kind and gracious. Loved the stay at this property!
