Things to note:
*House is located on over half an acre of land. On Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings there are church services in the on-site tent (situated away from the home in the far area of backyard) You're more than welcome to attend and fellowship.
*Surrounding agricultural farm land may bring bugs to the property. We have a professional pest control company servicing monthly, though these ongoing services are mostly successful, please don't be alarmed if you happen to see a pest. Hawaii has many many insects and is famous for geckos. Bring bug spray as mosquito bites are common in humid tropical weather.
*Hawaii also has many homeless people. Don't be alarmed if you see them camping at some unpopular beaches or parks. Other colder states fly their homeless to Hawaii's warmer weather. Hawaii is trying to find solutions. But please know our homeless brothers and sisters all have beautiful hearts; they do keep to themselves. Many are fully functioning adults with careers, but Hawaii's cost of living does not match wages, therefore sometimes housing is unaffordable for folks.
*We are currently in the process of repairing the driveway gate automatic opener. Manual entry will be necessary to enter property at this time.

The studio was clean, spacious & nice. However, the host advises "just steps from the ocean." Totally false! To get across to the ocean, you have to cross an extremely active highway. Furthermore, there are several homeless camps you also have to pass. To enter or exit the property, you have to get out of your vehicle and unlock the iron gates that are secured with a bicycle lock. Don't get me wrong, we only stayed at the property at night to sleep. But, I solely payed the high dollar amount to stay here because of the false comment "steps from the beach" and the photo of the beach posted. I wouldn't get in the water because of crossing the high, homeless camps, and because i feared the quality of the water. If you need a place to stay, this would suffice, but not for the price i paid. I could have stayed somewhere cheaper, safer, & beautiful for the price i paid for this place.
