Great house in a great location!The house was very confortable and the kitchen was well equipped.
Positives: Kitchen was well-appointedhouse was laid out nicely. It would be great for two couples because two of the bedrooms are fairly equitable so everyone would get a good room. Negatives: Property management wasn't great. Pool was non functional (controls from house didn't work and the heater was broken) and when repair man came he said they knew it was broken but weren't able to get anyone out there to fix it. We weren't told this ahead of time. They did compensate us for this which was nice. The disposal didn't work, so the sink was clogged for three days and we had to do dishes in the laundry sink. The communication with the property manager wasn't great. Everything took two calls before we got it resolved. On day 3 we finally got in touch with someone who acted on the issues and tried to get everything fixed. Thanks, Asi for doing your best to help us. Other recommendations: We purchased the resort access which was nice to have. I would recommend doing that if you stay here.
Loved this house that allowed us to spread out and relax. Kitchen fully stocked and property manager was very responsive. Would definitely stay again. mahalo!
We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful villa. We’ve stayed at various locations within Waiulaula, and this is now our family favorite! We will definitely return! Mahalo!!
Overall the stay was excellent. Only issue was the living room AC was broken.
We loved our stay. Plenty of room, great outdoor space. Some road noise, but everything else made that a super minor issue. We would definitely stay there again.

Our family spent a week around Thanksgiving at the Big island. Property was great, everything as described. Communication was crisp and clear, we also purchased access to the Mauna Kea amenities. Wonderful area, we had great time and would return.
Property is amazing with lots of space for both sleeping and entertaining. The pool and outside space is great, and the management company was very easy to deal with. Like others mentioned, there is some noise from the road nearby but that didn't bother us. The location is a little far north of the downtown Kona/Kailua area, but easy access via the highway. Highly recommend!
Very clean property with lots of space. The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and more. Minimal decor, not a lot of Knick Knacks around. Feels like your own space not like you are staying at someone’s home. My Down syndrome son especially liked the small pool and hot tub right outside his room. We were happy to see chairs and toys in the garage for a day at the beach. The property managers were easily available when we needed them. We had a wonderful stay.
Enjoyed a wonderful week here with my family and my parents. The house was very well stocked with essentials, things for the beach, and all the dishes and kitchen gadgets you could need. We loved the close proximity to two of the best sand beaches on the island, and the resort membership was totally worth it for convenience of parking, courtesy beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, borrowing surf/boogie boards, and the beautiful resort pools and grounds, all of which was included with the membership. Overall a wonderful complex and definitely a place I would stay again.
This house was beautiful, large (easily will sleep 6 or 3 couples), and the host was very responsive. Wonderful location for walking, easy access to the resort, and beaches.
We had a really great stay! The location is amazing- super close to Mauna Kea and Hapuna beaches and the house has a pool and spa which we also utilized! The house was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen and for the beach! Communication with the property management team was great and we really appreciated their flexibility with our changing travel plans. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to other folks interested in visiting this beautiful part of Hawaii!
Overall the unit is great. Nice neighborhood and very comfortable. There is noise from the road that can be heard. Kona Coast management was very responsive to questions and needs. Amenity package is a must as the hotel properties are beautiful.
