The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large covered lanai with grill. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 6 people plus 3 at the expansive kitchen island. The great room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, listening to music on the sound-bar, watch the game, or relax with a movie.
The main floor lanai, equipped with BBQ, outdoor living room is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. Each lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a new job, retirement, or simply celebrating the sunshine, Wahi Malu will provide the perfect setting for creating lasting memories.

We love building really big sand castles! Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find:

• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves
• Life jackets, swim belts for the younger ones

Enjoy our collection of bikes (adult, youth and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club, exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. Having traveled with our kids when they were young we know how difficult it is to lug all the baby equipment. Our goal is to make your life easier so we have equipped our vacation home with:

Things to do:
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, freeform pool and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!
A short drive away are six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street are the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.
If you have a larger group consider renting Dolphin Hale and Beach Club Bliss which are across or Kohala Haven or Flora Paradise that are also nearby.

The house was perfect for our stay in Hawaii. It was exactly as pictured and super comfortable. One of my party has mobility challenges so we loved that it was just one floor (unlike so many others where the bedrooms are up a flight of stairs) and there was a walk-in shower, which was ideal for her. It was also spotless and it had all the necessities. I was especially impressed with the quality of the kitchen items. We cooked at the house several times and it had everything we needed. I want that dinnerware for my own house! The location is also great. It's a two minute drive to the grocery store and shops, and just down the road to a couple beautiful beaches, including a secluded black sand beach.Lastly, the management company has excellent communication. We had all the info we needed for a seamless check-in and check-out. I love a stress-free arrival after a long day of travel. We loved our stay and would recommend to anyone. Thanks!
Property was well equipped with bikes (6 adult, 2 kids), beach chairs, coolers, etc. Snorkel gear was okay so we rented to get better functioning gear. AC worked well and furniture/beds all comfortable. Community pool easy walk but not heated. Gym used daily - solid. Ceiling fan in master spins the wrong direction and we couldn’t find a way to reserve it, so limited cooling benefit. Others worked fine. Lots of kitchen accessories and easy to cook meals. No real complaints, enjoyed our stay.
Our party of 7 loved this house, it exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful and very comfortable. We found the cleanliness to be outstanding. The backyard is full of natural trees and flowers, you can see the mountains and the stars at night, very calming. We traveled with an infant and found everything we needed to take care of him. There were also plenty of excellent beach supplies. The location is also great, nice safe community, close to a grocery store and beautiful beaches. Downtown is a little far but that didn’t bother us. Truly a gem! We will come back if we go back to Hawaii.
This was an absolutely fantastic property with beach access. It was fully stocked with anything you could want for the beach and pool. Amazing pool was at the end of the block. Kitchen was had incredible supply for cooking. It was spotless when we arrived. We had a wonderful, very relaxing family stay.
We had everything we needed! Beach chairs, snorkels, coolers, beach bags you name it. It was so tidy and organized. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect. Highly recommended!
The house was beautifully furnished. The kitchen was very well stocked. We enjoyed the multiple outdoor seating and eating patios. Access to the private beach was great. And the kids loved the pool. Very happy with our decision to stay here. Would come back and stay longer.
Spacious, clean and lots of amenities provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The garage had a ton of beach toys, floaties, boogie boards, snorkeling gear to use, even a beach bag. As well as bikes which we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use as we were so busy exploring the island. The place was super clean, and each bedroom has its own bathroom. Beautiful sitting area outside with a mountain view. Pool is fantastic also. Close to shops and beautiful mauna Lana beach. A bit of a drive to Kona and Hilo.. be prepared to do a lot of driving. Overall we definitely recommend this rental to anyone coming to the big island.
It’s wonderful being so close to the lovely pools, hot tubs, exercise facilities, groceries, AND THE BEACHES! Home is beautifully equipped for infant and children.
For the price I had high hopes for a comfortable stay and this place blew every expectation out of the water. We had 6 in our group: 2 couples and 2 small kids (Ages nearly 2, and 4) and all of us were completely comfortable and cared for. I’ve stayed in other places where everything felt “throttled” such as only providing small toiletries, a couple of garbage bags, or a stater pack of dishwasher soap. This property provided full size everything, and had a very well-stocked kitchen. We were able to prepare everything we wanted during the week and never once felt that we were missing anything. If you are considering staying here with an infant don’t hesitate. They have thought of everything. Items we found that weren’t previously listed: bed rails, fresh sheets for the pack n play, high chair, bouncer, toddler potty, step stool, baby spoons, and umbrella stroller. Great selection of beach gear and snorkel gear to fit all adults and even kids goggles. Huge selection of beach towels, chairs, bikes, umbrellas, and more! Walk to the pool is maybe 100yds from this unit, and while you could walk to the beach it’s far enough that with our littles we elected to drive. Great grocery store and juice/smoothie shop are a 2-minute drive. Cannot say enough good things. Worth the price!
We loved everything about our stay - from the house to the amenities provided to the easy access to the pools and the short distance to the grocery store. The beds were very comfortable and it was easy to pretend that it was our own house in Hawaii for the eleven nights of our stay.
