Oceanfront sixth-floor condo w/water views, balcony, washer/dryer, shared pool

The view was amazing! All amenities were provided. Had to reach out to Vacasa due to construction noise coming from unit directly above and was impressed by swift response and ultimate resolution. Will definitely stay again and recommend this vacation rental.

This was our 3rd time in Maui but first at this condo. We liked it the best of the others, the property is very pretty to walk around too!

Beautiful location, wonderful inside and out!

Everything about the unit was as advertised better. There were some comments about cleanliness in the recent past but either it’s been fixed completely or was overblown in the first place. We would re-book. We have stayed in 5 or 6 units at Valley Isle and this is a fantastic example. It’s our favorite complex on Maui and we look forward to going back. Vacasa while I’m certain they’re responsible for the good experience as much as the issues did fall down in checkin: The elevators were completely out for a few hours and while not the fault of vacasa, they offered no options for us. Alternative units, communication with the building on our behalf, even updates as to when it was rectified. I contacted them directly and asked for help - they offered apologies and promised to be in touch. We got in on our own and then the next day Vacasa responded as though they didn’t know anything about it. So like i said, annoying but not overly impactful. But when you look at the fees associated with booking with them, you do wonder what it gets you when you can also book similar units directly with owners.

We loved waking up to the full windows that looked over the ocean. We would make our morning kona coffees and sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Just beautiful.

Well, sad to say what we loved was not in your condo. The 1 star was given for the ocean view from the balcony. The condo itself was a 0 and definitely will never rent a condo from VACASA again. You pride yourself in taking care of your customers, you failed us and should not be allowed to rent this roach infested condo. We had been planning this family vacation to "Maui" for over a year. Never imagined we would have to deal with spraying for bugs ourselves w/insecticide we purchased, had to wash each dish used because roaches were in cabinets, dishwasher, drawers and refrigerator. "DISGUSTING" This added stress to all of us and took time away from our family outings. When we 1st spoke to you about this problem you ensured us that it would be addressed with the appropriate person who will take care of this. We kept getting the run around with promises of our satisfaction is top priority. We text stating we wanted a refund and would go elsewhere and would report this to Hawaii Health Dept. We were there from Saturday to Saturday. Last text from your company was on Tuesday late afternoon promising that our issue was assigned to a local staff who is currently working on this and asked for our patience. Never heard from anyone and our calls went straight to voicemail. We even sent pictures of the roaches throughout the condo. What was sad is that you knew there was a problem but stated this was the first of hearing about it; however, there were roach baits placed throughout the condo. This was such a problem we had to keep all food including boxed goods in the refrigerator. Our kids slept with the lights on afraid of what might crawl on them. We definitely will be letting our friends and family know not to rent from VACASA! The property was eventually sprayed by the resort itself and not for roaches but ants. Another disappointment but not surprised. Thanks for nothing you flat out didn't CARE!

We checked-in in the evening and went straight to bed. The next day we got up and out quickly, but when we came back to the unit in the evening, we noticed 3 or more baby roaches in the sink. Then, we opened a drawer and saw adult roaches. We tried to sleep but were concerned about the pests. In the middle of the night, we came into the kitchen again and turned the lights on and there were 10+ roaches on the sponge and around the sink. We then went to the bathroom and turned the lights on and saw another 10+ roaches around the sink and our toiletries. We knew then that this was an infestation and not just one or two bugs. While I know roaches are a fact of life on Maui, I also know that buildings are sprayed regularly for pests and if a particular owner or renter declines pest treatment, an infestation can happen. We contacted Vacasa, the rental company, to either get our money back so we could go somewhere else immediately or have them move us to a building where they knew the unit had been sprayed recently. The process dealing with the company was terrible. We were on the phone and unhoused for at least half a day, cutting into our vacation time, and forcing us to simply sit in the car or a cafe nearby to wait until we heard back from them. I spoke to several different agents and consistently got disconnected from them, through no fault of my cell reception, and the agents didn't call back to finish the call. I had to keep calling and starting over. We were finally moved to another building where the unit was great, but again Vacasa was terrible. The unit wasn't clean when we arrived, so we had to stay in our car longer. Ultimately, I was told that a manager would call me back to compensate me for all of the issues. We checked out 3 days ago and I still haven't heard from a manager to get some sort of partial refund for the pest problem.

The unit met our needs with good view from the living room area. Nice beach in front. We appreciated the multiple appliances that came with the unit. Master bed was too soft and the unit needs a new set of cutlery. A good deep clean of carpet areas would be beneficial.

Overall great spot, no ac but most of the time keeping the first entrance door open allowed an amazing breeze in. Great ocean view.
