Oceanfront Beach Condo-Amazing views

We had a wonderful time. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Shelley was communicative and attentive. The beach view was spectacular! We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again in the future.

Gorgeous beach views right from your balcony. We saw turtles, seals and spinner dolphins from our room. Condo had EVERYTHING you need for kitchen, beach and anything else you would need. Shelley was very responsive and helpful.

My wife and I spent 7 wonderful days here and absolutely loved it. The condo has that nostalgic “old Hawaii” charm but with tasteful modern upgrades — spotless travertine floors, a new leather recliner sofa, high-end appliances, and a very comfortable Serta bed. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, from beach chairs and towels to a well-stocked kitchen.Each morning we enjoyed coffee on the lanai, listening to the soothing sound of the surf and watching waves roll across the pristine, sandy private beach — accessible only to guests of this condo complex. The ocean views and sunsets were unforgettable.It was better than any of the Waikiki hotels we’ve stayed at in the past — peaceful, private, and with no resort or parking fees. A perfect blend of comfort, nostalgia, and pure island serenity — truly a 10-star stay!

The A/C worked perfectly. The Hostess was reachable by phone or text at a moments notice.

We so enjoyed our stay in Shelley's condo at the Hawaiian Princess! She had everything we needed in the apartment to cook (had we wanted to), relax, and enjoy the beach. The photos really don't do the lanai view justice...it is an incredible beach! We saw seals, dolphins, turtles, and fish from the lanai and while on the beach. And the sunsets are truly spectacular. We slept listening to the waves crashing on the beach each night. She provided everything necessary to spend the day on the beach. We also ate at Countryside Cafe and Beach House 604 - both great suggestions. Be sure to get some shave ice at Mountain Magic right near the condo. We had a car so were able to drive to other beaches and places to eat. If you like to stay someplace where you can walk everywhere to eat and shop, there weren't as many places in walking distance, but plenty of things a few minutes away by car. Loved trying a new side of the island this time!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Being directly on a quiet, beautiful beach was so nice. The condo had so many things included with it (beach towels, beach chairs, sun screen, condiments, hair dryer, etc. etc.) that we've never seen in other rentals. We never used the AC once, and enjoyed the breeze through the screen door on the wonderful lanai. If you don't mind driving a little more to see the sights of the island, this is the ideal place for you. Being on pretty much your own beach (I think the most we saw on it at one time was at most 20 people.) a couple steps away from where you are staying was so convenient and enjoyable for us. We even saw a couple seals at the end of the beach.We highly recommend this rental!!

The Hawaiian Princess is an awesome gem! The price is great , the beach is literally outside your doorstep! Great swimming and snorkeling with limited people . It is a bit of a drive to areas around you but we had no issues and enjoyed our time exploring the island . If you don’t want to leave there is lots around you as well so suitable to all. We will be back for sure !! :)

Very enjoyable stay

The property was fantastic, well appointed, had everything from snorkel gear to washer and drier. Spices for cooking were there. Nice pans. Great view. Very happy with our stay.

Wonderful view, right on the beach. Easy to get in to and communications with Manager was great. Clean and welcoming when we got there, and there was a listing of available amenities located around the area. Very nice and would stay there again.

The beach at the property was amazing and very fun to play in the waves and watch sunsets.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights in this unit at the Hawaiian Princess. The unit was recently remodeled, has a lovely view, and is nicely outfitted. We saw humpback whales, sea turtles and exquisite sunsets every day. The beach that the balcony overlooks is a beautiful white sand. The unit has many "comforts" like beach towels, beach chairs, hats, and coolers to enhance your stay. The Makaha area, being away from the hustle of Honolulu, appears to attract a fair number of unsheltered. The Hawaiian Princess has excellent 24 hour security for guests and their cars. Local shopping is nearby and we loved the easy access to hikes and other beaches in the area. We especially enjoyed the Monk Seals and the Laysan Albatross at Ka'ena Point State Beach Park. Traffic in the area can be slow, but just take your time and enjoy your holiday!

Beautiful stay. Sunset view is amazing! The only suggestion for anyone usung the a/c units is to check and empty the water drain containers frequently.

Nice property with beautiful view of the ocean

Loved the stay here. Previous stays in Honolulu have left me tired of all the bustle and noise. Makaha is the the opposite of that. It’s not as touristy (and also no shopping, so if that’s your thing, this probably isn’t the right place for you). Easy access to uncrowded beaches, and good hiking access. The property itself isn’t as modern as others on the island, but it was extremely clean, well maintained, and a pleasure to stay in. This is one of the few places where you have a private balcony directly over the beach. It’s about a block off the main road, which is on the backside of the hotel, and isn’t even all that busy you hardly even hear vehicles. Shelly is wonderful host, and she goes out of her way to make sure everything goes well, and has some great tips on where to go and what to do.

The views are amazing. Listening to the waves made this property so peaceful. Everything you need for a beach getaway is right at your fingertips. My partner and i loved the exclusiveness of the town. Completely away from the concrete jungle. Definitely staying here again.

We really enjoyed staying here. John and Shelley, thank you! Everything was just perfect. We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary here and it did not disappoint! Very clean and they provided everything we needed and more. Great staff and Shelley was quick to answer any questions we had. Thanks again, God willing, we will be back.

You have everything you need in this place and a great lanai/balcony from which to view the amazing sunsets. The kitchen is well equipped - even an electric tea kettle. Great washing machine and dryer. Your host provides lots of extras to make the stay comfortable and is a great communicator. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at this condo. Everything was just perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed many meals on the lanai, watching the waves and people playing on the beach. From the tenth floor, the view was great. The condo had all the necessary kitchen items, plenty of towels and very nice appliances. We loved having a washer & dryer in the unit. We would definitely stay again!
