August Sale!! Upgraded Air-Conditioned Princeville Condo with Bali Hai Views

It's very nicely decorated, the view is excellent, and the landscaping is beautiful. We arrived after dark and had a hard time seeing the combination on the key box. It is not lit, and difficult to turn. Then we struggled with the locks for a half hour before the door would open. The next day was hot and all of the window louvres were stuck closed, so we couldn't get a cross breeze and even with four fans going and the bedroom AC on, it was intolerable. We had to close the curtains to block the sun. Being able to watch the sunset was the whole reason we chose this place. It was a real struggle to get the sliding doors open as well. The next day Vacasa sent over a maintenance fellow who greased the doors, unjammed the louvres, and worked on the lock, so that was better. They also sent a cleaning person because we complained about how filthy the shower grout and faucets are. She couldn't get it any cleaner. She said she had reported it several times before, to no avail. It's just blatant disregard by the owners. For what we paid, we deserved a well-maintained place.

I would absolutely rent this property again. Beautiful location with incredible sunset views over the ocean and mountains. Close to beaches, shops and restaurants. Lived every minute of it!

Beautiful setting, but property is getting worn out. Bathroom faucet leaks. Coffee table sheds flakes of material. Molding above sliding doors leaked rain during a particularly heavy rain.

Great condo with excellent views and great amenities

Within hours of check-in, we texted our concerns re: filthy/moldy and then inoperable a/c (advertised as new and great); the problem was never resolved. There was no responsiveness to our repeated text communications to Guest Svs and we never were given the opportunity to speak with a live person from Vacasa during our stay. The faulty, very loud, and basically non-operational unit (stopping every few minutes 24/7 due to overflow in a tiny reservoir, requiring lifting and draining to resume) caused us endless hassle, stress, and ruined our overall experience. The details can be found in the long string of text communications we made. We are still waiting after 2 wks for a reasonable refund.

This unit had everything you need for a relaxing stay. The view of Pali Ke Kua is breathtaking. The AC in this unit is a portable unit that is located in the bedroom. It provides adequate cooling for the bedroom after at least 2 hour run time for a great night sleep. With the sun setting and coming through the windows, make sure you keep the curtains pulled to keep the living room, dining room and kitchen a little cooler.

Wonderful location, the views really are stunning. Other than that, this place just exists with the bare minimum to make money for Vacasa. For what they charge, we expected significantly more. Cleanliness was not a priority- take the actual piece of turd laying behind the plunger in the bathroom, for example. The giant cockroach, while potentially expected on the island, was also not something I expected to find in my hair one morning. Several dishes and utensils were not even remotely clean.Little effort has been put into this place in some time. There are scuffs all over the walls, and the outdoor cushions were dirty. Parts the inner property are falling apart or don't work. The main fridge/freezer had broken, so they put one in half the size that then took up room in the dining area, making it hard to move around.While the listing makes it clear there is no AC, what isn't clear is that there is NO AIRFLOW due to the front door of the home going straight out to an area that is blocked from any incoming wind. You do not get airflow from the ocean; it comes from the other way at this location (but you won't get any in the living area). The bedroom is kept comfortable with the AC unit that's in there.Overall, if this had been a mid-tier-priced stay, we would have been okay with some of this. But for the price, and that we really splurged for our honeymoon, this was a complete disappointment, and we will never rent anything that is Vacasa-owned again.

We loved everything about the unit, except for the lack of AC. Even though they had one portable unit in the primary bedroom, the Orville unit was just way too hot.

We had a great stay! The views were spectacular. The condo was well equipped but an AC unit in the living area would have been great as it really got hot in the afternoon. We pulled down all the shades which helped but then we could not enjoy the view from inside. We would stay there again.

Just the view from the back porch is enough to make us want to come back! We loved this property, and it had everything we needed. Keep in mind that there is only AC in the bedroom, so keep that door shut to keep the cool air in. Other than that, open the glass shutters and enjoy the ocean breeze!

We were very happy with this property. First, the view is absolutely unbelievable. The condo was very clean, it was well stocked with everything we needed, and super comfortable. The AC in the bedroom was terrific. The living space was very comfortable with the doors open and fans on. I would absolutely stay here again. Parking was also very easy and there was never a struggle to find a spot.

We only stayed 3 nights, but saw a number of whales out front. A local cat decided to visit and seems to like to use the grass as a litterbox.

The view from this property is amazing- the best sunset I have ever seen! The location was perfect to explore the Norty shore and very convenient to Hanalei Bay and great restaurants. The condo was comfortable and well furnished. Highly recommend!

If you can, be sure to walk down the paved path to the beach—it’s steep, but it’s absolutely beautiful! The condo was clean and lovely, had everything we needed, and was perfectly situated to see the mountain at sunset. The mattress was soft for us, but others might like that. I would absolutely recommend this condo.

Outstanding view, comfortable couch, excellent TVs, well-appointed kitchen. Bed needs updating. No Kleenex provided. Big beautiful swimming pool is not heated

Beautiful property -great views of Hanalei and good location to access Princeville and Hanalei. Unit had everything we needed for a wonderful week.

Cleanliness was so so. Bed was pretty hard. View is great.

Our 3rd trip to Kauai and our first time staying on the North Shore. We absolutely loved this condo. Fantastic location, spectacular views. Nene's right out on the lanai. We will be back.

I've stayed in this unit many times when under different ownership, in my opinion the furniture was more comfortable then, the a/c quieter and more effective and the view nicer. But its still one of the nicest more beautiful units available.

The views, path to hideaways II, and the a/c in the bedroom were great!

Unit is spacious and well-located near Hideaways Beach yet is lacking in terms of temperature control

Perfect view. You pay dime of 1 hotel price but you will have the same perfect view of ocean and mountain. We had a very good experience and thank you for making our vacation great.
