Mana Kauai Island Vacations present the charming Umetsu Cottage!
Welcome to our idyllic one bedroom, one and a half bath cottage at the Hanalei Bay. This remodeled beach cottage reflects the era of Old Hawaii. Located steps from the iconic Hanalei Bay and a short stroll to the center of Hanalei Town, Umetsu cottage is completely private from other homes, has cold AC and offers a California King bed.
Experience the Hanalei mountain views while dining outdoors. After a day at the beach, hiking, or playing in the rivers you will enjoy the hot outdoor shower followed by a relaxing hangout on one of the two covered outdoor lanais.
This cottage hails to simpler times of a bygone era. Most of our guests return year after year.
This is a Mana Kaua'i Island Vacations home and we follow many practices that support regenerative tourism. We do the work so you don't have to.
This transient vacation rental is located in the tsunami evacuation zone.

A rental agreement will be emailed to you. We do require that to be signed and returned.
The Administrative Fee is subject to change based on the number of nights booked and dates of travel.
For reservations 14 or more nights a mid-stay clean is required every 14 nights and the fee will be added to all reservations.

Wonderful home in the most beautiful place on earth.
Fabulous cottage right by the most beautiful beach on the island. The reviews are true. Great Lanai complete with table, chairs and a reading/napping bed:) Loved the outdoor shower. Grateful for the A/C. Private and comfortable. Walked to the beach (yes 3 min) and to town. We hope to be back soon!!! Oh, and do not miss Holy Grail donuts.
Great stay at Umetso cottage. Exactly as advertised. Very central. Walk to the beach in 5mins and to town in 10mins. Would highly recommend for a couple looking for a relaxing stay.

Lovely property for a couple. Clean, comfortable, and an easy walk into town. Beach access is much closer. We would book it again.
Amazing, relaxing, beautiful....Everything you want in a true Hawaiian experience. The bungalow surpassed our expectations. Clean, walking distance to pier and village. Mahalo!
Really enjoyed walk-in to the beach from the house and being near enough to walk to shops and restaurants. Town has everything needed for a stay. Having air conditioning and fans was a bonus. Property well supplied with towels. Basic condiments helped. Fridge had water dispenser. Basic toiletries and hairdryer also available.
We had a lot of rain but the Lanai was heaven and access to the beach was close. The cottage could not have been any cuter. The kitchen counter space is limited but it just was a matter of getting used to. We can’t wait to return.
