The Space:
The bright, renovated interior is arranged for four guests with two bedrooms, two beds, and two baths. A large sectional and smart TV make the living room an easy gathering spot, while direct lanai access keeps the ocean view part of the room. The upgraded kitchen has new cabinetry, sleek counters, stainless appliances, and island seating. Air conditioning and washer and dryer add comfort.
Guest Access:
Guests at Puu Poa enjoy access to the community's shared pool, beautifully landscaped grounds, and direct beachfront access. On site parking and laundry facilities are available, and the oceanfront setting puts the water right at your doorstep.
The Neighborhood:
Princeville sits high on Kauai's green North Shore, where lookouts, golf, and broad ocean views set the pace. Hanalei is about four miles down the hill for beach days, local dining, and a slower town afternoon. Stop at the Hanalei Valley lookout on the way, then choose Hanalei Bay or Anini Beach for the day. It is a great base for families who want Kauai's lush scenery with supplies and restaurants close enough for easy planning.
Getting Around:
Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.
Other Things to Note:
- The PuuPoa Condo property is undergoing various maintenance around the complex. Construction noise and crews may be heard in the parking lot and periodically around the complex during business hours.

Great property and location.
Beautiful condo. Easy check in . Perfect location. Very clean. Comfortable beds. We loved our stay and will stay longer next time!
Clean, modern, artful, comfortable large spaces, pool access like you have a private pool, great ocean views from the bluff sitting inside or out. Well kept and well appointed for a relaxing or active stay.
This condo is spectacular. We came to Kauai for a wedding with a large group of friends and each got a condo in the same Pu'u Poa complex. Ours was by far the best, nicest, and newest. The wooden bar in the kitchen is a masterpiece and the apt is fully equipped with everything you need from beach chairs to a game closet and full barware. Thoughtfully renovated with an eye for design. Two beaches to walk to and just a few minutes to town by car. Mahalo!
We came to Kauai for a vacation and to get married and this place was wonderful! It is exactly as pictured and described. Excellent and convenient location too. We could see lots of whales from the lanai; the provided binoculars were a nice touch! Definitely high end finishes and lots of space. It was so nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer as well. Hot water was iffy and never got very hot, nor did it last long. Maybe it’s a shared water heater among other units? Also, while this is not specific to the condo, it would be so nice if such fragrant (toxic) cleaning products weren’t used; we don’t expect “green” cleaning products if not specified but the condo reeked (it was the Swiffer mop pads) until we aired it out, which was a bit of a bummer after arriving in paradise, and was less than enjoyable. Also, be prepared to lug suitcases up and down stairs. Totally doable, just a heads up.
We have stayed in these condos before. The interior decor of this particular one was outstanding. The kitchen was immaculate, huge and had everything one could desire. It is an end unit which makes it quieter, but it does make getting your belongings in and out of the condo a bit more work.Overall, this is probably the best condominium in that entire complex if you don’t mind steps. We would definitely return again.

Perfect everything! Location, style, well stocked, wonderful fun beach below, must hike down using ropes. Worth the lil hike! Nice pool, lots of snorkel gear, ice chests, ice packs, beach towels too! Nice 15 min walk to Hanalei Bay and Happy Talk restaurant. Directly next to the new 1 hotel. Condo is peaceful and quiet! Highly recommend this condo. You will not be disappointed! Cannot wait to book it again!
Location, quality of condo and amenities all were grade A.
The condo was perfectly decorated and laid out. The views of the ocean were incredible. Super clean and very well stocked with everything we could need. We plan to book for future visits to the island!!!
Princeville is a beautiful location. The unit is immaculate and the view is spectacular! Can watch the sunset every night. Thank you!
