Beautiful view from room and great location to coconut market and restaurants.

The property was very clean and also had a very nice view that we enjoyed. It was nice having the marketplace so readily available for us.

This property is one of my favorites on Kauai, next to shops and restaurants in Coconut Marketplace. The unit is in a great location, close to the pool. Host is accommodating and super easy to communicate with. Mahalo!

Lovely location. Really enjoyed our stay, and it was convenient to rest of the island from condo. Two very minor points which we were informed before our stay, but FYI, you need be OK with: 1. third floor with no elevator (we were fine going up/down stairs daily, but checking in/out with 50lb check-in bags was a chore); 2. kitchen is very, very tiny.

It is very short walking distance to the Coconut Marketplace which is a big plus. Convenient location to both the north and south sides of the island. Property grounds are near immaculate. Awesome view.

The location was great! Close to almost everything we needed. Our view was amazing. We loved sleeping with the slider open and listening to the ocean. Although it didn't have a full kitchen, for a 7 day stay the fridge and microwave was enough. The Coconut Market Place just steps away was a plus!

The view from the lanai is wonderful. Restaurants and shops in the Coconut Marketplace were only steps away and very convenient. Pool and spa were crystal clear and the pool bar had a 3-6 happy hour.

Nothing fancy but a central and clean base camp for an active holiday. Esther responded quickly to concerns and issues were resolved rapidly. The pool was a nice feature to cool off after an active day. Happy hour poolside allows a chance to meet some interesting folks. Lots of food choices nearby!

I’m traveling with my 4.5 year old and we just had the best vacation. This spot was perfect, with so much to do within walking distance. The pool was a highlight and the beach is just steps away. We would come back in a heartbeat and plan to recommend to all of our friends!

We absolutely loved our stay in this condo. The location was perfect for all of our adventures - right at the beach with a great path along the coast for walking/biking/running. The grounds were gorgeous and clean. The condo was super comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is a great location for a couple. We stayed here years ago when it was a hotel and this is the second time we have stayed here since it was converted to condos. The location is convenient for taking trips to either end of the island.

This property was in a great location- had an ocean view and could also see the pool/tiki bar. Very good area close to many other shops, restaurants, and activities. The host was very responsive and available as needed. Had a great time!!

I loved this condo! Not because it was fancy but the location was great. I took my son for his 14th birthday and we both loved it. The pool was great except the lights weren't working so it was closed at night. Also, don't think you can swim on this beach but it's wonderful to enjoy nonetheless. Swim-able beaches are less than a mile away, which was where we spent a lot of time. Bike rentals right there, food right there. I can't say enough about Ester...we had a 'bump' (totally our fault) and she was on it! I highly recommend!

My husband and I loved our stay here. The location and view were spectacular. The communication from the owner was outstanding. We had an issue with an extension cord and had a replacement within an hour even though it was a holiday. We would definitely return!!

My husband and I very much enjoyed staying at this property; and would choose the same if we are able to return to Kauai. All the photos and descriptions provided by our host are very accurate and helpful. The view from the room and lanai is beautiful - very relaxing to watch and listen to the surf while having breakfast or just hanging out. We had everything we needed. The host is available to answer any questions. We very much enjoyed all the amenities. The pool is warm, and the surrounding grounds are lovely and well-kept. It was convenient and fun visiting the market and other stores and restaurants in close walking distance. This property is in a fantastic location. We easily drove to many beaches and sight-seeing areas. Such a fun and relaxing vacation staying in this quiet and peaceful unit. Much Mahalo to our gracious host!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Esther's condo. The location on the island was perfect and having the marketplace so close was very helpful. Esther responded very quickly to anny off our questions and/or concerns.

The room was as advertised. Great view of the ocean. Tiki bar right across the lawn and the Coconut Market place right behind. Loved the location as we were central to everything on the island. Would book here again on future trips.

Used to have a time share on Kauai and was familiar with the area so choose this location for our week on the Island. Good location and being close to the Coconut Marketplace made it perfect.

This condo was the perfect place for me to stay. I enjoyed everything about it and it was in a very nice location and I will definitely like to go back and stay again at a later date. Once again had a very good time.

My wife and I have stayed at Islander on the beach 7 times during the past 10 years, We keep coming back because it’s our favorite place to stay. There’s food, stores, and a farmers market within walking distance from islander on the beach. We enjoyed Making a cup of coffee in the mornings, walking down to the beach to watch the sunrise, you can also watch the sunrise from Esther’s room if you prefer. We always rent bikes, ride the 6 mile trail (one way) along the coast which starts at your room, browse the shops, then relax in the sun. There’s barbecues by the pool for grilling dinner. Islander on the beach is the perfect location for your stay in kauai, it’s located on the east shore, and an equal distance to either side of the island. IOB is wonderful place to stay. The grounds of IOB are clean, well maintained and security monitors the area regularly. Esther was an excellent host, her room was clean, with a wonderful sunrise view! hope to come back again!

The property had a excellent view, perfect location, and quiet.

Sunrise views were incredible right on the ocean or from the deck. Restaurants are close and you can have breakfast right on the edge of the water.

We would unequivocally recommend this property as a base for touring Kaua'i, or for relaxing days around the pool. The condo unit, though quite small, is nicely laid out and comfortable. The fridge, microwave, toaster, large sink and a good set of dishes and utensils, as well as the outdoor BBQ, enable guests to prepare healthy meals. The lanai (balcony) looks out across the pool to the ocean. We are not "resort people" but this condo complex suited us fine because it was very quiet, even around the pool bar, most of the time. We enjoyed the beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees and bird life on the grounds of the property. Be aware that the complex faces east into the prevailing trade winds, so the sound of the waves is constant and can be very loud. The breeze was quite cool when we were there (early April). For a swimming or snorkeling beach, Lydgate Beach Park is walking distance or a very short drive. The owner was extremely helpful all the way through from booking to departure. Kaua'i is a very expensive island to visit and live on due to its remoteness. This was definitely the best property we could find within our price range and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
