Surfer Hale - Kuilima Estates East # 1

It was such a cozy home for the week. The beds and couch were comfortable, kitchen and bathroom great, with quiet neighbors and clean everything. We also loved the beach chairs. Oh also, great access right out the backyard to the golf course for walks at night. I recommend running along the trail all the way to the back of the golf course then running up the beach back to the turtle bay. We came across a ton of albatross nests and really cool beach paths that don’t often get used. Great and quick communication. Highly recommend, we would love to stay here again.

We stayed here on short notice due to having to attend a family member's funeral. The property was easy to find and had assigned parking which was nice. The property manager, Lisa, was easily reachable and responded quickly to any questions I had, and further handled a luggage mishap with speed and courtesy which helped reduce our stress level. Thank you again Lisa!

A great condo for two people.

The Check in process was smooth. The kitchen facilities were great, love wooden bar area. The Wi-Fi was always up and running. Never been to Hawaii before, the speed limits throw me off, but we deal with it. Only thing I would change, putting an air conditioner in the Living. The area was beautiful, definitely would consider using your apartment again. Thank you for everything! Ms Melissa Jackson

Beautiful place, the north part of the island it’s the greatest!Condo was comfortable, great bed. Beach gear amazing.Furniture needs an update though. Instructions on how to find the place not easy. And host was a little hostile to deal with. But I would recommend this zone to stay if you go to Oahu!

The Turtle Bay area and surrounding properties were beautiful. We enjoyed the hiking trails and got a lot of use out of the beach chairs and umbrella provided with the condo. Location was close to several beaches.

The A/C is inadequate and not easy to use. The unit is only in the bedroom and on the floor. The unit really needs to upgrade to a zone A/C for the entire unit. Very musty smell when entering the unit. Also, BTW sofa needs to be replaced you sink into it. Hope that helps.

Nice clean, quiet condo in a perfect location at a reasonable price. Can't ask for more.

I would love to give five stars all the way down the line, but I feel I can’t because there was construction on the attached building (2nd door down) that we should’ve been informed was happening.We found out this was a project that was planned months ago. Because we were at the end unit we had construction & subcontractors walking past our lanai every day and we were there for 2 weeks. They were very respectful and pleasant So I have no complaints about them personally but the property manager should have informed us in advance. I feel the property manager was more concerned about making money than our comfort.

Communication with host was on point, place is clean, comfortable and quiet. Great location on the north shore. Only stayed one night but satisfied with overall experience! Mahalo

Great location with lots of walking trails and many accessible beaches that aren’t crowded. Private lanai was nice to enjoy for meals. The kitchen is well stocked and the livingroom furniture was comfortable.

Only issue, wifi stopped working on the last day at the property.

Nice, clean condo with plenty of room for a couple. Location at turtle Bay was ideal. Would definitely come back here again on our next visit.

The location near Turtle Bay resort and several lovely beaches within walking distance make this property the best place on Oahu to have a peaceful, relaxing stay.

A very nice place to stay for a few days

The unit was nice and cozy. Lanai was beautiful. Pool was nice. Critters and bugs were unfortunate.

We enjoyed our stay at the Surfer Hale condo. The property is as described and comes with everything you need to cook in and enjoy days at the beach including beach and snorkeling gear as well as tennis gear. You can walk to restaurants at Turtle Bay or take a short drive to nearby food trucks. Communication with property team was easy and we would recommend staying here.

The property was in a great location and made for an awesome base camp for a great vacation.

This condo was perfect for our anniversary trip to Hawaii. Clean, quiet, and central to the places we wanted to visit on the North Shore. The pool felt great when we wanted to swim but didn’t want to head out to the ocean. We also enjoyed the quick walk to Turtle Bay resort for dinner and turtle viewing. I would stay here again.

Condo was as presented in description. Beach items were great to have available for use. Bed was super comfortable. Birds were noisy thru the night but a/c unit provided a nice hum that drowned out any noise. Would stay here again.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay at the Surfer Hale condo so much! It was so convenient to walk to the beautiful beaches at Turtle Bay. The condo was great, clean, and very well appointed. We had everything we needed. This was a perfect home base in which to explore the spectacular beauty of the North Shore. And Lisa was so easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again! Beautiful, quiet condo, walking distance to turtle bay resort and the beach. Short drive to many other north shore sites. We will defiantly stay again.

The property grounds were clearly neglected. The unit itself had all the desired necessities. The people who live there yr. round were delightful! Sharing with us the “must do’s” Would we return? Probably not. Lots of places that are much nicer and more centrally located.

This condo was exactly what we needed as a family of 3 (7mo infant) for our stay. Beautiful inside and out. It was awesome they had all the beach toys and accessories we needed so we didn’t have to buy or pack any. Our child absolutely loved being able to crawl around off the back patio in the grass under the trees.

Wow, we really loved our stay here!! A perfect home away from home just a short walk from the beautiful beach and Turtle Bay Resort. We brought our 1 year old with us and especially loved having access to the pool in the complex. A great stay - we can’t wait to come back here!

I was very happy with this place! At first glance, it’s not fancy. But it has everything you need on site … great bed, beach gear - everything you will need in excellent condition right down to the cute little portable cooler. Tons of sun screen and lotion! Snorkeling at Turtle Bay was much better than expected and just in general, I was not let down by anything. Owner answered a late night call to help us get in too.

Great place for the North Shore. Nice chairs, coolers, sand toys and boogie boards. Perfect for the beaches.
