Such a beautiful condo with a perfect lanai (balcony) to see the spectacular sunsets... Mike and Brenda a phenomenal hosts who go above and beyond in every way possible. The grounds are well maintained and the pool area is stunning with direct views of the Maui sun rise and sunsets. Area to BBQ. VERY nice condo community and easy access to any spot on the Island... highly recomend this place every time

Wonderful stay- everything was as advertised.

What a slice of heaven this home is. Checkin process was smooth and Mike is extremely good at communicating! Upon walking in the unit it smelled freshly cleaned and was spotless. The beachfront view was breathtaking. On the kitchen counter were helpful items everyone needs when just arriving. Sugar, creamers, popcorn, chips, chocolates and other assorted items. Saved me for coffee the next morning! Every day we enjoyed our coffee on the balcony overlooking the amazing beach and water while the outriggers practiced in the early morning. The bed was super comfy and there was more than enough kitchen items, towels etc to satisfy our stay. Took many walks, enjoyed the pool and hot tub. DoorDash and Instacart were a welcome sight for food and minor groceries for the first morning’s breakfast. On property is a great little sandwich place with a bar. This unit PH20 is a must stay for any trip to the island and we will return again soon. Thank you Mike and Brenda for sharing your home with us.

The entire experience renting this unit, PH20, from the host, Mike, was exceptional. The unit is well furnished with a full kitchen, dishwasher, washer, dryer, QUIET central AC (no compressor roaring away on your balcony), comfortable king bed, 2 TVs with cable, fast wifi, central location, beautiful grounds, pool, hot tub, miles of clean sandy beach and blue water, beach towels, chairs & umbrella, snorkel gear, and that unobstructed million-dollar view. Even more impressive was the care and communication of the host. We have already recommended this unit and host to our friends and family. A hui hou.

Amazing host and condo

The condo was clean, well stocked, and has a fabulous balcony! It was amazing to sip coffee and watch the waves and boats in the morning. The bed is comfortable and the condo was perfect for two people. The pool and hot tub were nice if you wanted a break from the ocean and sand. The grounds are well cared for. Mike and Brenda were amazing hosts and helped us feel so welcomed. They were always available for any questions. The front desk staff is also onsite for assistance.

Our 1st trip to Hawaii and it was perfect, Thanks to the beautiful penthouse property we were fortunate enough to stay at. The view captivated us instantly. It’s paradise. It made it very difficult to leave and explore Maui with such a gorgeous view..morning, noon, and night. The unit is lined with mirrors on one side which make the room look twice as big and beautiful. The kitchen is spacious and clean with everything you need. There are bbqs downstairs which we used a lot. Elevators are close and quick. The beach, footsteps away. Stretched as far as you could see in either direction. We were happy to see the beach showers, much needed. The pool was refreshing and clean, a relaxing reprieve from the warm ocean waters, waves and sand. The hot tub is nice and big. Not as inviting after a good sunburn. The grounds are kept clean, lush and green with a little koi pond to say aloha. Mike and Brenda were beyond amazing. They really made us feel at home and welcomed. Their hospitality and kindness made this trip feel blessed and their beautiful penthouse condo made this trip unforgettable. We will surely be back.

We had a fantastic time in PH20 at the Sugar Beach Resort. Mike left us goodies and drinks for our arrival and also left us Starbucks coffee gift cards when we left. The condo had everything we needed. Loved hearing the ocean waves and watching the sunrise every day and night. Watching the Kihei Canoe Club every morning was a plus. Our early morning walks on Sugar Beach was fantastic. We will definitely stay at Sugar Beach Resort PH20 again.

Beautiful condo with the most amazing hosts. After this stay, we will never stay anywhere but here. The unit had everything we needed. A couple of highlights, besides the super attentive hosts, were the California king bed and the amazing shower head. We spent many mornings drinking coffee and enjoying the direct oceanfront view and many afternoons enjoying the pool. Within walking distance to Sugar Beach Bakery, ABC Store, Ululani's Shave Ice and a great little farmers market.

It was great. Mike was very communicative and accommodating. Look forward to staying again.

Our stay at sugar neach was amazing. Very comfortable living conditions. Pool and hot tube are wonderful, but the beach is the best. Just a walk out the door and youre there. However the best thing about this stay is the hosts. They have EXCELLENT communication! Even before we checked in, they knew we were on island and helped us through a Tsunami evacuation. The resort we were at in Lahiana didn't help us at all, but Mike and Brenda were so helpful. They also, constantly did everything they could to make sure we had the best access to everything, from the view off our lanai, to no disruptions from maintenance. We highly recommend this location.

Amazing view. Loved going to the beach every morning and night. We were there when the tsunami came and Mike and Brenda reached out multiple times with updated information and where to evacuate. Really helped us stay calm. The whole time they showed that they really cared about our stay. The only downside was that our family got addicted to the chocolate that was there for us on arrival and we had to buy more!

We had a fantastic stay. Michael was very kind to upgrade us to his penthouse property upon learning that it was our belated honeymoon trip. He was very easy to get a hold of and reached out during our stay to make sure everything was going okay. The place itself was in a nice location, a quick drive to the harbor for snorkeling tours or the aquarium or the grocery store/restaurants. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Thank you so much!!

Everything about the unit was fantastic! Firstly, we were upgraded to the penthouse which offered a spectacular view! And since we came from Canada, we arrived after midnight and were greeted with some welcome snacks which were greatly appreciated. The unit was nicely furnished and very comfortable. The unit had everything to make you feel at home with all of the small touches that others may not have. They included dish soap, detergent, shampoo, conditioner, spices, food wraps and containers, and a variety of water sports equipment. All of the appliances and utensils to make life easy and comfortable. As well, even though it is Hawaii, there were some nights that we just wanted to chill and the unit had an excellent cable package which allowed us to catch most of our favourite shows and to keep up to date with the news, both local and international. All questions we had, no matter how small, were answered immediately, even on the weekends and in the evening. They were super nice and gracious hosts!! Finally, the unit had the best shower we have seen in any rental unit we have stayed in for at least 10 years. This may be a small thing for some but huge for us. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Mike and Brenda were great hosts. They contacted us to offer an upgrade to the penthouse unit, which was very nice on the top floor. Beautiful view from the lanai! Lovely beach, nice hot tub by the pool. We enjoyed lunch at Nalu. Also Seascape. We drove up to Kaanapali Whaler’s Village for shopping and dinner.

Great condo with incredible ocean view from patio. Mike and Brenda were fantastic and communicated throughout the week asking about our stay. They provided everything we needed for our trip and are incredible hosts.

Just stayed overnight, but we were welcomed with cold bottled water and snacks waiting for us. We watched the sunset from the lanai and ate dinner at a close by sandwich place. Very nice stay😊

A brilliant location with a super pool and beach access. A very helpfull renter. The only hard complaint concerns VRBO. Loading the VRBO App is blocked in Europe. That complicates the Information exchange extremly.

Our stay in the penthouse was excellent! Had everything we needed plus the best view. Beach was private. Pool was great. Owners were excellent and made our 35th Anniversary special. Mahalo!!

This condo was awesome!! Top floor ocean front, you cant get any closer! Comfy bed and soft bedding. Everthing you could need for the kitchen, laundry, and bathroom. We would book again.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Mike’s penthouse. From the time we made the reservation until the time we checked out was a five-star experience. The penthouse came with all the necessities. There are literally too many to name. But I will name a few. They provided beach, chairs, umbrella, coolers, and boogie boards. The kitchen had every utensil, coffee, maker, blender, herbs, and seasonings and etc. The bed was very comfortable, the central cooling was excellent. There were plenty of towels along with beach towels. The washer and dryer was amazing, Mike even provided washer pods. When we checked in, we were greeted with several surprise treats. When we checked out, we were also greeted with a very nice departure gift. Every time I text Mike always responded properly. The grounds were clean, the pool was clean and well-maintained. We will definitely book with Mike again. When you book with Mike, do it with confidence, you are making a great choice. I’m sure I left Other wonderful amenities out. Mike and Brenda are the best hosts I have ever worked with. They genuinely care about their guests and make sure that guests are well taken care of. Condo is right on the beach and located about in the middle of Maui. . North tip of Maui “Nakalele Blowhole” about 30 miles. Hana 57 miles. Other places we liked. Best ice cream “Lappert’s” at The Shops at Wailea 8 miles. Kihei Kalama Village 6 miles, also called “Bermuda Triangle” by locals for its nightlife scene, & restaurants, there are bunch of food trucks there too. Best shave ice - Ululani Shave Ice walking distance.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The place was clean, right on the beach and perfect! The place had everything you would need for your stay. Mike was amazing.. he gave us tips for the island, left us drinks and snacks as a welcome gift and even a gift card as a gift for staying. The pool and hot tub and grounds were beautiful. Convenient and lots of great places to eat and visit with just a short walk on the beach. We can’t wait to come back! Don’t hesitate to stay here, you won’t regret it!

My husband and I stayed at Mike and Brenda’s for two nights during our trip to Maui. I can’t say enough good things about Mike and Brenda and their condo. We were upgraded to the penthouse unit, which had amazing panoramic views of the ocean. There were so many thoughtful touches, like snacks when we arrived and basic supplies like soap and shampoo. Communication was excellent and they were always offering help plan our time in Maui. The location was great for morning beach walks and an easy walk to a little store, shaved ice, and bake shop. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Brenda and Mike went above and beyond to meet my needs during my stay in Maui for my birthday. They got in touch a week before the trip and touched base with my gf and I. We got to Maui earlier than check in time and they went above and beyond to get us in early. There were goodies for us when we arrived and all the beach supplies we could ever want (beach towels, cooler, beach chair, beach umbrella, & boogie boards). Parking was a breeze as well!! And the ocean view was unbelievable! Waking up to the sound of the ocean and seeing the sun rise from our room was something I’ll never forget! Will definitely come back!!

Mike and Brenda are amazing hosts, they go over and above. Wonderful snacks were waiting for us. The property was clean with a beautiful ocean front view. Nice beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, boogey boards are there to use. Full kitchen with everything we needed to cook a few meals. We loved hearing the ocean. The entire property is well managed, pool, jacuzzi and BBq’s. Easy location to find, easy parking and check in. Hosts made sure everything was good throughout the trip. We loved being able to do laundry before we left, condo comes with washer/dryer. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Fantastic hosts, great amenities, tight quarters for 4, but an amazing relaxing time nonetheless. The hosts provided timely support on all questions and concerns. Rent here for a stress free getaway. This was the first time in my life (aquaphile of ~40yrs) I heard families of blue whales talking to each other while swimming out front.

We had a crunch move from Lahaina after being booked there for Daughters Wedding and Mike & Brenda were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING...! We felt that hold-your-breath- panic but they stepped right in, pitched in a perfect room, removed "Every" worry & Need to the dotted line, we needed nothing! And when a few things hit us unexpectedly with Rental Car, Late Flights, They stepped in to soothe those paths too! Such an incredible couple, and nice place, helped find close places to eat, shop etc. Just out of their way Helpful Hosts. My sister stayed at same Resort , different Room, different Host, and had "None" of the same services we had, tho' their room was nice enough, all the XTRA Touches we had from our Hosts made ALL the difference in the world in making a choice of returning!! We had a great stay. We were upgraded to the penthouse unit since we needed the sofa bed for our teen son. The view & location were great, and everything was as pictured. We saw whales every day and a turtle once from lanai. The steps to the beach include large rocks that may be hard for someone with mobility issues, but there are alternate paths. There is an elevator very close to the unit. The pool is heated--not hot, just not cold. The hot tub was great as well, and there is a sauna. The grills by the pool are gas, cleaned daily, easy to use. Overall the resort is well-maintained and attended to daily; the elevators would get wet from people dripping from the pool or beach, but they were cleaned and dried quickly every day. The keyless entry is nice so you don't have to worry about carrying keys around. Everything we needed was provided--cookware, some condiments and seasonings were available, a couple of k cups (we bought our own, though), regular towels and linens, plenty of pillows, some extra blankets, beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, shampoo, conditioner, soap, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, paper towels, toilet paper, hair dryer, curling iron...there was even nail polish remover and aloe vera gel! There were also binoculars for whale watching and some movies, games, and books. The snacks on arrival and Starbucks gift card were incredibly fun to receive and made us feel extra welcome. Great place to relax and enjoy the view of the ocean. Condo offered everything we needed to have a wonderful time. We would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I had been searching for the perfect getaway trip for quite some time. We decided for Christmas that instead of gifts, we would plan a trip together. Maui was our ideal destination but after looking at several places, the hidden fees and other costs were pushing us out of our budget. I was pleasantly surprised to see this place with reasonable prices and no extra crazy fees! Booking was so easy and we were greeted via text right away from the owners. They were an absolute joy to work with. I never once stressed about where we were going to stay because I could tell that they loved the place. The property owner/managers contacted us before our trip multiple times to ensure that everything was ready to go for the day we arrived. Upon arrival there was a beautiful set of snacks and drinks set out on the counter for us. It was so nice to see after a long flight. Everything was clean, amazing views, comfortable bed and great location. I could not say more wonderful things about our stay. I felt taken care of the entire time. The hospitality was absolutely unmatched. Will highly recommend to all that I know wanting a comfortable experience!

This was our first time to Maui and we so enjoyed our stay! We were upgraded to the Penthouse and the views were beyond gorgeous! The place was perfect, the hosts were amazing, and we are so thankful to have found this piece of paradise! Loved hanging out by the ocean in the lounge chairs, and also by the pool! Convenient to Kihei restaurants and shops, but loved coming back to the quiet private beach after a night out. We have decided to make this an annual trip and will be hoping to stay here every time!!
