Such a wonderful holiday stay with a very thoughtful host! I highly recommend this property, it is in a beautiful location with many amenities including ocean/beach access. The plumeria trees right near the balcony are one of my favorite memories.

Our trip did not go as smoothly as planned. When we check in late, we found the unit had not been cleaned. So we cleaned it and made the bed. (The owner did refund the cleaning fee.). The hot water was spradic, so not all showers were hot. The unit locked us out prior to checkout time, but she was able to give us anew code so we could retrieve our luggage. It was fine, but not a relaxing vacation condo.

We loved staying here! Direct access to the beach was amazing and we loved how quiet the complex and beach were. It was super convenient having AC, beach towels, chairs, and snorkel gear and the host was able to give us a little later check out time.

Everything was simply amazing and so perfect! The condo was beautiful with an amazing view and was a great location for an HQ for all of our adventures. The sandwich shop downstairs was very convenient - and a super cute dive bar to boot! I could not have been more pleased with our stay and would absolutely stay here again!

I really wanted to give this stay 5 stars, but unfortunately, I can’t. The check-in process was smooth, but once we got inside, we noticed the floors were extremely dirty—after just five minutes of walking around, our socks were covered in grime. The AC wasn’t strong enough to cool the bedroom, making it uncomfortably warm at night. The Wi-Fi and cable kept cutting out, which wasn’t a huge issue since we were out most of the time, but still worth mentioning.On the bright side, the view from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and the location couldn’t be better—right on the beach. They also provide chairs and snorkel gear, which was a nice touch. I genuinely hoped to leave a higher rating, but the cleanliness and comfort issues made that difficult.

We had an amazing experience here! Everything was so clean, so close to the beach and the pool was great! If you stay here, stop by the Sandwich shop right below! Overall, the hosts were amazing, check in was so easy, and it was close to all the good things! You won’t regret booking with Lisa and Dwight!

This property is amazing! I was visiting with my partner and I had never stayed in Kihei before. I was pleasantly surprised. The property is well appointed and has everything you need. It is clean and the check in process is convenient. Now to what makes this property special in my opinion. The beach. I can’t figure it out but the beach the property has access to is SO quiet. My partner and I would walk on the beach and there would be no more than 20 people on the 2 mile stretch. If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowds, I highly recommend this property. We will be back for sure!!!

This place was perfect. Centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Walk out to the beach. Many extra amenities for the beach provided. The grounds were under construction while there but still beautiful and well maintained. I would recommend and go back if I have the opportunity.

This was our first trip to Maui. The condo has a great view of the ocean, pool and hot tub. The condo has everything one would need, coffee pot, Keurig, air fryer, blender and tea kettle. There are boogie boards, snorkels, sand chairs and a wagon to take to the beach. Lisa is fantastic. She replies to messages quickly and seems very easy-going. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Condo location at north end of Kihei was perfect with the longest beach in Maui to walk-on everyday! Condo was clean and looked just like the pictures with great views from the deck. We really enjoyed our stay!

The condo was in a great location, right on the beach, and nice to explore Kihei area after 5 nights in Wailea. It’s a nice comfortable vibe at Sugar Beach Resort. The condo was well-equipped; except no wine glasses. I would consider staying again in the future.Thank you

This was perfect for us. Lisa was very responsive to my questions and is a perfect host. The condo is clean, quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. It comes well stocked with kitchen needs, especially a blender and air fryer. There is a washer and dryer. It really is only steps away from the beach and Lisa provides everything you need for a beach day, towels, chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards, and even a wagon to haul it all. There is even a pair of binoculars you can use if you like watching whales

Overall nice experience. Towels rugs and linens need upgrades. Toaster was not clean but everything else was very nice. Appliances were very nice.Great water pressure and hot water. No problems parking. Danas sandwich shop handy with good food. Service was hit and miss. Don't be in a hurry. We left a rubber shower mat to make standing on the rock base shower more comfortable. Our cleaning fee should cover doing all laundry and stripping of beds. Your guests shouldn't have to worry about that. food

Met all needs. Ocean view, pool, beach. Well maintained and equipped. Cooler, towels and other beach accessories as well. Would stay again if the opportunity comes about.

This property provides an ideal place to stay in Kihei, if you’re looking to explore the coast of Maui. It has a sweet view of the sunset from the balcony and offers a quick, short path to the beach. Everything else is in easy driving distance.

The location was excellent. Enjoyed the amenities, especially pool and immediate access to the beach. Covered parking was also nice. Seemed safe and secure.

Spent 10 nights at the condo. The host had great communication, responded to questions quickly. The condo was very clean and appears to be newly remodeled. However, Sugar Beach Resort exterior areas appear sort of unkept. I would still stay at the location again because the host takes care of her interior. Thanks for sharing your home.

Loved being central to reach other parts of the island, walking out to see the sunset nightly was delightful and then enjoyed a soak in the hot tub.

Beautiful views, easy access to the beach. It was really close to shopping, restaurants and activities. The unit was clean and had all the amenities we needed. Sorry we had to cut our trip short to get out before another hurricane hit. Great place to stay!!

This was our first VRBO and our first time to Hawaii. The unit was clean and as presented in the listing I feel for the price we paid it was a good value. I was surprised at all the owner left for our use both in the unit and on the beach. The resort pool and beach amenities were excellent and really enjoyed the grass area by the beach.

Perfect location, adorable condo that’s stocked with everything you could need. Steps from the beach and a short drive to restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at this wonderful property. Location is great, right on Sugar Beach. Everything we needed was provided. From cooking utensils to beach towels and even body boards to do a little surfing! Property is well maintained, with plenty of easily accessible parking. Highly recommended!

My sister and I were so pleased with Sugar Beach Resort! We had an incredible view and the walk to the was just a few feet away. No kidding, this resort on right on the beach!

The location of this place is ideal, not on the main strip or out away from restaurants or snacks, or save ice! The condo was as described and very clean, the property is maintained every day by a crew, grounds and pool included.

From the minute we arrived until the minute we left everything was fabulous! The photos in the listing were accurate. The condo had everything you needed to cook,If you chose! A wonderful lanai to enjoy morning coffee and watch the canoe club practise.The bed was the best we have had in a rental! We have never slept so well! Sugar Beach Resort was very clean and well maintained. Loved that it was small and quiet. We didn’t go to the pool ( others seemed to enjoy it) we are beach people. The beach was a great walking beach and the reward at the other end was shave ice!We wouldn’t change anything about the condo! Thanks for sharing your piece of paradise!!

Came to Maui for a wedding. Sugar Beach Resort was perfect location on the Island. Amazing Ocean View was just that! Not far from anything. Steps to the beach that we walked every morning. the beach which was very close, cooled off in the pool with great views. Host was very accomodating and responded to emails In appropriate time. Highly recommend "Amazing Ocean Views!"

Perfect location. Close to everything in and around Kihei. Sunsets and great views from the private property. Appreciated the cooler bag and choice of pillows. It really had everything you need.

Did not like the constant winds

Our condo was great, however the pool was being repaired, however the owners took car of us. I would suggest Sugar Beach remove the rugs on the stairs. It smelled bad! The front door to the condo looked like we were stepping into a hotel we wouldn’t want to stay in. So, nothing on the owners, just on the Sugar Beach itself.

We both LOVED our stay, we were so sad to leave. Our condo was beautiful, was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Loved swimming in the pool every night, alot of the tenants that were staying were so friendly, we would share what we all did for the day and what we were planning for the next day. Met alot of great people. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Breakfast on the balcony every morning was a great start to our days. Local fresh fruit was amazing. The location was central to anything you wanted to do. The grounds were maintained daily, easy parking. A great tip we found out when we got there was that they have grocery carts you can use to take your luggage and Costco haul up to your condo. We are already planning our next vacation and we will definitely be staying here for all of our Maui vacations. Has that Home away from feeling ❤️ The only thing I wish was different was that the pool and hot tub stayed open later, other then that it was perfect!

This rental was wonderful, the view was amazing and it was a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, for once slept very well away from home! Area was great as well and so was the surrounding area!! Would definitely recommend or stay there again!

Very well stocked for anything you could or would require. Very clean and a great location. The phone didn’t work and a new phone was installed within an hour! The beach and pool along with all other amenities are great. Highly recommended!

Really liked the condo as very efficient and organized. Really liked sugar beach as a great beach for walking and quiet beach days. The property was a bit dated but very clean and well maintained.
