Unit is next to the elevator - noisy. Lots of highway noise. Totally cluttered with too much furniture, and stuff on the walls and tables everywhere. Carpet needs cleaning. On the plus side, great view, very well equipped kitchen.
The unit was wonderful. Kitchwn has all the appliances you'll need, including an air fryer. Plenty of towels in the bathrooms. The bedroom has A/C for a good night's sleep. The rest of the condo was warm but the box fan helped.This unit is rented and managed by Ali'i Resorts and they met us at the condo for check-in. We didn't have to contact them for anythong but they checked on us twice.One thing to note about the property, the green area between the building and beach is a public park leased by KSS and each evening people gather for sunset. There are a lot of dogs that are off leash with the owners not always paying attention to where they might be doing their business. We encountered a couple of poop piles.
Large condo, supplied with everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. And the perfect sunset from our balcony every night.
This was such a wonderful place to stay. Very clean every was just perfect.
Perfect condo for two, ocean and sunset view from the lanai, exceptionally well equipped, comfortable bedroom and living room. We could have stayed for months but only had 10 days. This is a rare find for Maui!
Sugar Beach Resort is a great place. Wonderful views and terrific for beach walks (plus great sunsets ). Only negative is the lack of keyless entry. Every other condo here is just a coded lock for entry. Twas a pain always having to carry a big hotel key and plastic tag. Condo is super nice and very well stocked, including several beach chairs. Just needs the damn door lock upgraded.
Great views, very clean. Short trip to airport.
