The quiet condo sits near Princeville Park and golf, and a nearby resort has a restaurant, live entertainment, and a takeout bistro. Anini Beach and Hanalei Bay are close enough for a simple drive when the water is calling. It is a relaxed home base that keeps the North Shore's best days within easy reach.
The Space:
The one-level layout gives four guests two bedrooms, two baths, and no stairs from the front-door parking space. Air conditioning and WiFi make the inside comfortable, while two large lanais provide room to sit, stretch, or do yoga among the greenery. The kitchen is ready for everyday meals, and the in-unit washer and dryer take care of beach towels. Board games and children's books add an easy family touch for quiet evenings at home.
Guest Access:
At Puamana, guests enjoy a private entrance, access to the communal pool with golf course views, and a garden, backyard, and patio for relaxing outdoors. The property is near the ocean with beach access nearby and also features a shared game room. Conveniently located nearby are a first aid station, post office, fire station, public transportation, and library. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Princeville has Kauai's North Shore scenery with enough everyday convenience to make a relaxed stay easy. Princeville Park and golf are close, and a nearby resort offers food, live entertainment, and takeout when you do not feel like driving far. Stock up at Princeville Center, then head down to Hanalei for beach time, restaurants, and the town's easygoing surf culture. Anini Beach is a nearby snorkeling option, too. This is a good location for guests who want an accessible home base with beaches, activities, and practical stops close by.
Getting Around:
Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away via a scenic drive along Kauai's coast. A rental car is highly recommended since the North Shore's beaches, restaurants, and Hanalei's shops are spread out. Princeville itself offers walkable access to some shops and dining, while beaches like Hanalei Bay are a short drive. Parking is typically available in lots or driveways at most properties.

Arrived and the place was not properly cleaned, dead bugs on the floors, dishes/silverware with food still caked on, AC units looked to have NEVER been cleaned. Spent most of the first day just cleaning for them. Bedding is also horrible and needs to be replaced, old lumpy mattresses and pillows meant getting a good nights sleep was impossible. The only reason this isn’t a 1 is the location is great.
We had everything we needed. It’s a great place to stay
We loved the location and gorgeous plant life that surrounded the condo and each unit. Literally a few minutes from a beach. Each bedroom had a TV . Bedroom 1 with the queen bed had a closet with 2 beach chairs, 2 coolers with ice packs, luggage racks, 1 beach umbrella, 1 pool noodle, 2 sets of flippers, and a clothes drying rack. Bedroom 2 with the king bed had a luggage rack, extra bathroom towels, and bedding. The kitchen featured a starter set with dish soap and laundry detergent. The refrigerator was huge and worked great. The family room was spacious with 2 comfortable sofas and a big TV. The hall bathroom had a nice big sink with soap and lotion. The shower had conditioner, shampoo, and shower gel. The master bathroom featured the same amenities. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back. Sometimes other guests would park in the designated parking spots but it was fine. Plenty of parking. This was our favorite condo we have ever rented by far.
This unit provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the Princeville area. We enjoyed the front/back lanai’s too. The location is impressive specially being close to the beach access/hiking trail. Definitely a gem. 👍🏼

Great stay. Good amenities provided. ( lots of towels, shampoo/body wash, TP). Good location. Great beaches within minutes drive.
We had a wonderful time. I only rated this location a four because it was a bit dated. The supplies, dishes, etc. in the kitchen were dated the washing machine and dryer made lots of noise. The plugged outlets were very loose and sparked. I don’t think they were up to code. The towels and the sheets were a bit old. They probably need replacing, but the beds were very comfortable. The pool left a lot to be desired. We were here for three weeks, but I don’t know if I would come back.
This was truly home away from home. The home was clean and bright with a relaxing atmosphere. Checking in was a breeze which allowed us to quickly start our exploration to Anini beach access (a hop, skip, and jump away!). Highly recommend to anyone looking for either a lounge-y day in the sun or an adventurous day of snorkeling at Hideaway! Thank you Vacasa!
This house was everything you could want in a vacation rental: it was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. There are a/c units in each room but we ended up not needing them because of the vents to the outside. The area is very quiet (except the roosters, of course) and we found parking easily. The property comes with little perks which really made our stay easy: laundry detergent, beach towels, the washer/dryer, extra sunscreen, and more. There is attention to detail in the home and we found everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.
Very cute condo, spacious, nicely appointed, wonderful location. Perfect base camp for a relaxing trip on the island!
