Spectacular Oceanfront Condo at Hideaways Beach, Bali Hai Views, AC all rooms

The owner has supplied everything you need, if not, she tries to accommodate or supply your request. The view is beautiful and the furniture is stylish and comfortable. The beds were also comfortable. The unit was quiet with a tennis court and pool. It is across the street from a golf course and walking path. Lucy was the best owner we have ever dealt with in a VRBO. Check out the Hotel 1 bar next to the unit and the Princeville market Center.

We had one of the most amazing stay. The whole feeling of the place, the location and hosts co-operations were beyond words. Could not have expected anything more. Really nice.

The condo had a great floor plan and we really enjoyed the sounds of the waves and views.

Our host was very accommodating and welcoming. The unit was everything that it appeared in pictures. Better still, the beds were very comfortable and pillows didn’t give me a neck ache. Location was beautiful, with beautiful views. The location pool was warm, clean and barely used by others. Short drive into town. All and all a 10.

My wife and I have stayed at this complex a few times now - it is well situated for views and access to both Hideaways and Pu’u Poa beaches, great for snorkeling or just sitting on the sand. The 1 Hotel is next door if you want to eat out or visit for drinks. This unit was great, and Lucy was a marvelous host. We enjoyed watching the ocean and the surfers from the living room and balcony and the kitchen has everything you need to cook. The whole place was exceptionally clean and comfortable; we slept well here, can’t wait to return!

Overall we loved our stay here. The location and views are amazing. The house was clean and amenities were good. Plenty of parking spots. Kitchen had the needed appliances, although the Keurig could stand to be replaced. My only caution is that this place doesn’t comfortably accommodate more than 3 or 4 people. Having the couch listed as a “bed” made me think it was a pullout, but it wasn’t. So one of my kids had to sleep on it and it wasn’t super comfortable. But the place is great for a couple and 2 kids. Overall we loved the location and views of the ocean, and it’s super close to Hanalei which was nice. Communication from the hosts was great and prompt.

We really enjoyed staying at this property. The ocean views were spectacular and it was a delight to see the mountains each time we walked out of the house. Having air conditioning was a nice perk with our baby and the humidity. The host was so accommodating and helpful.Another nice perk was being able to walk to two beaches and the 1 Hotel for a morning coffee and afternoon cocktail.Thank you for the stay.

Wonderful eight night stay in late August. Pool and the units lanai were highlights. Quick walk to Hidden Beach and The One hotel’s beach. Highly recommend, thanks!

Our family of 5 fit easily with a pullout bed and the accommodations were beautiful. The hosts (Lucy and Doug) were very helpful and gave us some recommendations for local activities. We had a fantastic time in a beautiful condo and I hope to be a repeat customer!

Absolutely spectacular accomodations. Property is exactly as advertised. The property was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach in beautiful Princeville. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor deck with the gorgeous sunset views. Everything needed to enjoy your vacation in Kauai is provided. Great location above Hideaways, where we snorkeled daily. Beautiful views, spacious and comfy space, can’t say enough! Hopefully we’ll be back again soon!

All day viewing of whales and albatross. Great location to feel like it’s your personal island. Princeville has everything and nearby Hanalei is not too crowded. Condo has everything you need and local grocery minutes away for convenience. Looking forward to staying again!

Every thing in the condo was excellent

This property had everything in it that a person would need! We loved it and the proximity to Hanalei, restaurants, beaches, a grocery store, and endless activities. We soaked up the view and loved that whatever we looked for we found in the kitchen! They e thought of everything! So spacious for a family with two university students and high school senior. We love it!

Bedside lamp switch in Master has a short;light over cooktop/ range is burnt out (under microwave); limited clean glass ware in kitchen. Sliding doors out Master are nearly inoperable from corrosion

This gem exceeded our expectations. It is so clean and comfortable. This property is beautiful. The two lanais have amazing views. We spent so much time on the lanai and even got to do some stargazing on a clear night. This isn't just a house, it is a home, it is loved and well taken care of. It has beautiful art, the bed is super comfy. We loved our stay here! Plus, the owners are excellent communicators. Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed at the building location before but not this unit. Again, it didn’t disappoint. Outstanding all around. Could have used more shampoo and soap. Otherwise, 10/10.

Lovely stay for a week. Lucy and Doug live locally and were quickly responsive to minor problem. Every morning we could see whales spouting in the distance. Unfortunately I came down with a cold, so we didn’t get out as much as I hoped, but it was a comfortable place to hang out. Local Foodland has lots of prepared food, so I didn’t need to cook.

Our stay was wonderful. Check in was very easy and communication with Lucy was great. Any questions we had she answered in a timely manner. Love that each room had separate AC. Beds were comfortable and the property was quiet. The views were to die for. Sat out on the lanai everyday just taken in the views. Kitchen was very well stocked. Was a short hike to Hideaways Beach and to Pu’Poa Beach and a short drive to Hanalei Bay and even to Kapaa. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and would stay there again. Thank you Lucy for a wonderful spot to vacation at.

The property location couldn't have been better. Two patios with clear views of ocean waves. This was exactly what I was looking for. The entire stay was wonderful. No notes.

We had an absolute fantastic time in Princeville. We have stayed at multiple properties at Puu poa and this is one of the nicest. We had a few minor issues that happened at no fault to the owners and lucy handled them immediately. She was always available to answer a question and always friendly! The property was clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. They provided everything we needed. My entire family highly recommends this property and cannot wait to come back!

Our group had the best time staying in Lucy’s condo. Communicating with Lucy was a breeze, and we were so grateful for her accommodations. Lucy’s condo was clean, beautiful, well cared for, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The lanais had the best view, the couch was super comfortable, the bedrooms were big and roomy, and the kitchen was well equipped. This was our first time staying in the north shore and we loved it. Short drive to the cute town of Hanalei and the most beautiful beaches.! We did a lot of scuba diving and boating activities in the south, so we drove around lot, but we didn't mind the drive. My group loved seeing the island and definitely would stay at Lucy’s place again.

The positives were the fabulous view and location. It is truly a stunning property in a perfect location to enjoy all that the north side of the island has to offer. We loved and used the beach chairs, snorkel gear and weber grill that were provided with the property. When we asked about pickle ball rackets, Lucy had them delivered to the condo, which was really nice. The negatives were that the hot water heater is not that large and for one night a few of us had cold showers as we all showered one after another. Lucy informed us that she is in the process of installing a larger water heater but the permitting process was taking some time. For the rest of the trip, we spaced out our showers and it was fine. On our last night, we had a litle bit of a bug issue and let Lucy know and she stated that she would remediate the issue immediately.

First of all, Lucy was wonderful to work with! I had never used VRBO before this trip and was a little hesitant. She was quick to help me out over the phone when I had technical difficulties accessing the email with final details. Lucy made a believer out of me. Her piece of paradise was not only as described - it was better! That is because there are no words or photographs that can accurately show how amazing and special this place is! The breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains were unrivaled. The beach below the condos was pristine and provided sun, shade, and snorkeling. By no means is the hike to Hideaway beach a stroll, however, it makes you feel like a kid again. It never got old. It was magical! If we ever make it back to Kauai, then we will definitely want to stay at Lucy's again. It was everything we had hoped for and more. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

The condo has a fantastic view in a great location. The neighborhood is really quiet, which was perfect for us. The best part about the condo is how well-equipped it is. Lots of snorkel and beach gear which was very nice to have. But the stand out was a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of plates, cups, kitchen and cooking utensils, a full spice rack, etc. Anything you might need to prepare a meal was in the kitchen, which made it really easy to buy food at the grocery store without needing to get every spice or condiment you might need to accompany your meal. We really enjoyed this comfortable stay.

Lucy was a wonderful host. The condo is very well appointed with everything one could need to make themselves at home. This unit is positioned to see Sunsets - not all buildings in the complex face this direction. It also features Air Conditioning which is very nice especially for the rear bedrooms. Not all Pu'u Poa units feature AC so our host has made a significant investment in her guest's comfort which is why I selected this unit. We had a great stay and would absolutely book with Lucy again.

The condo is incredible. The views are breathtaking and the photos don't do it justice. We loved our vacation and can't wait to come back and visit again, real soon. The property is in great condition. Five stars!!

We spent 4 nights in Lucy and Doug's condo. The condo is very spacious and comfortable. It is beautifully located with a great view of the ocean. It is central to access many beautiful beaches and trail. Very complete kitchen equipment. In addition, our hosts, Lucy and Doug were wonderful and gave us lots of great recommendation for activities. Thank you for an amazing stay in this magnificent Garden Island!

The views from the condo is outstanding and beautiful. The pool is nice and never crowded. The beach can be challenging to get to. Hideaway beach is a short but steep hike and other beach across the street has about 600 steps to it. But at least you don’t have to drive and find a parking spot. A neighbor said we were being loud but it wasn’t like we were having a party (we are a family of 4). So be weary of sensitive neighbors. Otherwise, the property was fantastic.

Beautiful views and we enjoyed watching the sunset every evening. There was plenty of room and we had everything we needed available. Definitely would come back.

Our stay at this condo was amazing. Condo is exceptionally clean, exceptionally decorated and exceptionally furnished. The kitchen was literally the most completely furnished kitchen we have ever had in a rental. Our hostess and host, Lucy and Doug go so fare beyond being great hosts it is hard to describe. Every need met, every expectation of hosts exceeded. How incredibly unusual to end a week in Princeville with two new friends! We could not possibly exaggerate what a wonderful week it was. The listing was accurate, and the place was fantastic! With there being so many good places to eat in Kauai, we found ourselves getting everything to go just so we could have our meals out in the lanai. The views are amazing from both the lanai and the master bedroom. Lucy was very pleasant. On our first day, she even dropped off some new gear for snorkeling! The check in process was easy. The location of the condo is perfect, being in a nice community full of friendly people. The condo has everything that you'll need in case you'd like to cook a meal, and everything you'd ever need for a day at the beach. The property is not far from Hanalei, which has great places to shop and eat. With Kauai being a small island, it's not too much trouble to drive to the South Shore. I found Princeville and Hanalei to be exactly what I was looking for, in that it's the perfect place to relax for vacation. Upon checking out, Lucy wished us safe travels. I hope I can come back next year!

The condo was pretty and had a great view of the ocean. I was surprised that you had to hike down a steep path to the beach. Prices at nearby places were ridiculously high. Since we wanted to explore a lot of driving was involved. It would have been nice to have a list of nearby places to go for activities.

Cool unique building among a golf course community on a cliff overlooking the ocean. The patio area is very private and HUGE. I literally sat at the dinner table inside and was able to see through the very large windows the spout of a whale passing by…so magical. I also saw them while my kids swam in the great heated pool! There is a nice shady beach below the cliffs that disappeared with the tide in the evening …have to make your way down a bit of difficult path, but my kids did it without any problem. Comfy beds and kitchen had everything we needed. The town is great with plenty of laidback eating and touristy shopping. The owner was very accessible for simple dinner recommendations and other basic questions. Would love to stay again!

Great location, amazing views!

What a beautiful property with a beautiful view. You are directly over Hideaways beach and the surf was firing the entire week. If I ever return to the North Shore this property will be my first choice.
