Unit 1059 is truly one of the absolute nicest 1 bedroom units at the Whaler. Unit 1059 is on the 10th floor and has one of the most spectacular views anywhere in Kaanapali. This total remodeled and professionally decorated 10th floor suite is one of the VERY nicest one bedroom units at the Whaler. Unit 1059 sleeps a total of 6 (with 4 beds) – has 1 bedroom, 1 full bathroom (tub and shower), 1/4 bathroom with vanity, large living area, dining area, executive desk, large kitchen & full laundry.
Unit 1059 (totally remodeled just a few years ago... sleeps up to 6 adults and has 4 beds (master= Cal King, sofa sleeper= Queen, Murphy bed twin XL, and loveseat sleeper= twin size). All bedding is of the highest quality including the finest quality linens and pillows that are fresh and clean.

Unit 1059 amenities include large HDTVs in both rooms and DVD/Blu-ray player in the living room and free HD cable TV, free Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet.
All linens are provided fresh and clean. Mid-visit cleaning is provided to guests who stay 10 nights or longer upon request. There is a washer/ dryer located in the unit along with complementary so. Month long stays will receive a weekly clean Upon request. Additional housekeeping services are available upon request for an additional charge.
The Whaler Resort is one of the premier condominium resorts in Maui. It is located in the most ideal location of Kaanapali Beach (between the Sheridan and Westin Hotels and next to Black Rock and Whalers Village Shops). Everything totally convenient and is in walking distance. Whalers Village has over 100 shops and restaurants for eating or just to browse through, so you and the family never have to jump in the car to go eat or shop....or drive home after dinner. Kaanapali Beach has been distinguished as being named 'Best Beach in the USA' year after year by resort critics.
Enjoy sailing, snorkeling, surfing, diving, golf, tennis, scuba diving, fine dining, hiking, jogging and world class shops all only steps away from your fully equipped 'plush' condominium.

To reserve, a 50% Reservation deposit is required, balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

(The resort fee covers : parking, full use of the gym, the tennis courts, daily beach towel exchange, beach chairs, etc.)

The reason for this additional fee is for additional housekeeping expense assessed by the housekeeper.

Perfect location. Well stocked kitchen and beach supplies were great. Owner was very responsive to questions I had before check in. Can't beat the location for convenience to shops and restaurants and a gorgeous beach. Kids loved snorkeling and parasailing out front and walking to Black Rock for cliff jumping. Would highly recommend! Also, so convenient having a washer/dryer in the unit.
This is a really nice unit at the Whaler. 2 off oceanfront with spectacular views. We watched whales from the lanai! Really enjoyed the comfortable bed and an amazing shower. Our teens enjoyed the Murphy bed and the L couch for sleeping—no shared bed situation. There are also 2 pull out sofa beds so lots of options. The bathroom layout is also nice, shower is separate from sink/mirror areas so you can get ready while somebody is in the shower. Jim was a great host! We come to the Whaler often (it’s a great place to stay) and will definitely book this unit again.
We have stayed at Whaler property many times. The upgrades in this home are visible. This property was very clean. Unfortunately the bedroom TV kept randomly losing connection and requires reset. We spoke to the owner many times about the issue and he did attempt to troubleshoot but was unable to resolve the issue while we were there as we did not want people in and out of the condo numerous times while we were gone. We also noticed that the tub depth is very deep, which for shorter people may be difficult to step into the shower. There are many swim toys and chairs which was very nice. The tall table and chairs on the patio were light, which slide very easily. We are not short but they almost slide away from you when attempting to sit down. The location is wonderful as many activities, shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall we enjoyed our time in Hawaii and the condo with some minor challenges.

Steps from Whaler’s Village for restaurants and shopping, easy walk to Black Rock for cliff jumping for our teen boys and steps to early morning Catamaran snorkel trip from beach. The remodeled home had more than enough room for our family of 5 and was well stocked w everything we needed. We didn’t use the pool since we prefer the ocean but the tennis and pickle ball courts were great and the grounds w koi pond and waterfalls were beautiful. Highly recommend!
This property is a perfect stay in Maui. It was clean and the beds were all very comfortable. It has a lot of space and the kitchen is well equipped. One of the best things about this property is its location. You are next to Whalers Village which has shops and restaurants galore.
Beautifully remodeled and spotless upon arrival. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, coffee maker, towels and more. View from the lanai is stunning with the island of Lanai in the distance. Perfect location for Kaanapali beach, restaurants and shopping. The host, Jim was an exceptional communicator and very accommodating. This was our first VRBO stay and we were pleasantly surprised. Highly recommend this unit.

My family and I stayed at Jim’s unit at the Whalers. Such a beautiful place. Despite it being a difficult stay as we were there during the Lahaina wildfires tragedy, we appreciated how the resort managed the situation. Jim was helpful and always responsive. We had a fabulous time in Kaanapali, Maui. This condominium was in a fabulous location, right next to Whaler's village. Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby and a fabulous place to snorkel at Black rock!! The view of the beach and ocean was wonderful and we were so happy with our stay. The owner was always so quick to reply to emails as well. Mahalo!
