There are plenty of shops nearby, but I do recommend stopping by a Foodland/Longs for any first aid or groceries you need as they are significantly cheaper there. Do the Petroglyph mini hike down the street while you are there. It was overcast the entire time I was there so I didn't spend much time at the beach but instead did a Hawai'i history tour. The place was clean, beds were nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. The Condo was very clean, close to beaches and shops. We'll definitely return.
Great location, very nice condo. The beds were comfortable and the indoor and outdoor seating was plentiful. Kitchen was well stocked. Minor issues, just need to fix the sink stopper in the master bathroom and get rid of the shade behind the kitchen garbage, it’s pretty gross. All told, it made for a great stay!
We stayed at Shores 1 1/2 year ago and enjoyed the quiet and location. Well appointed condo plus stuff for the beach. Nice large wrap around lanai. Only complaint, and it seems to be a common theme with others, is that the master bath sink and toilet are in need of repairs. Toilet will run continuously unless you pull up the handle (flapper and handle need to be replaced), one of the valves in the sink drips continuously and the stopper does not move.
Property & location were great. Condo well furnished. Only complaints were maintenance related. Ripping up tile on 2nd floor made for extremely noisy 1 week. Water shutoff for 4 hours inconvenient. Front door lock broke on 2nd day, sink dripped water & toilet needed repair. Just frustrating from the maintenance standpoint.
Great spot. Love this area for its proximity to snorkeling, shopping and all things vacation. This is a very nice condo. All the appliances worked well and I loved the master shower- it’s huge.
The Shores in Waikola is a perfect location for all things Hawaii! The pool and spa were gorgeous, tennis courts were close, the gym was great, shopping and restaurants close and sunsets at the beach are only a 10 minute stoll. Hapuna Beach is also only 10 minutes away.
We loved the pool and hot tub. Spacious condo with a lovely porch. Enjoying using the beach chairs and umbrella. Left some boogie boards for the next guest. Mahalo! Can’t wait to return again. 🌺
Everything was perfect! The condo was beautiful, clean, and well appointed! The location is the best on the Island!
Our family of 4 adults enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Our condo was clean, comfortable, and had extra towels, beach chairs, ice chests, and a large beach umbrella available for use. The location was close to our favorite beaches and had plenty of shops within walking distance.
Great place to stay- distant views of the ocean. Very clean and spacious. Would definitely stay again
The condo was dirty on arrival and it took until 11:30 PM for it to get resolved and that process was not pleasant! We basically lost our entire first afternoon/evening. The pool was not available and that took an additional 2 days to get passes to the one next door. The last two days the elevator was out of service (carried all luggage down three flights of stairs to leave). Would not recommend this unit!
