About this property
A Repair and re-tile project on the 2nd-floor walkway (catwalk) in the Tamarind Tower will start the week of April 21st, 2025, with plans to be completed late-June. While the walkway will remain accessible when under construction, there will be considerations for all second-floor units at different times during the project. Rooms on other floors should also expect to hear construction noise. Work will be done Monday - Friday between 8:00AM – 4:00PM. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know.
Located in the Tamarind Tower, this single-level, ground-floor vacation rental offers 2 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plenty of room for up to 6 occupants. Enjoy our gated condominium resort located near two championship golf courses and a wide range of amenities. The covered tiled lanai overlooks a resort water feature for a supremely relaxing Hawaiian holiday experience.
The kitchen features granite countertops and full-size appliances-everything you would need to create the perfect meal. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed while the guest bedroom offers two twin beds. Both rooms offer ensuite bathrooms with tiled tub/showers and dual vanity sinks with tiled counters. The additional sleeping option of a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room allows for up to 6 guests maximum occupancy. Pack as little or as much as you please as this vacation home features a washer and dryer for your added convenience. Keep cool during those warm summer days with the ocean breezes, ceiling fans, and central AC.

This resort features many great amenities for its guests to enjoy. There is a swimming pool and hot tub on property where you can enjoy the cool water in the Big Island weather. The resort also has a tennis court and fitness center for those days you want to do it all. There are plenty of gas BBQs at this resort for you to cook up the fresh catch of the day or even your favorite steak dinner under the stars. This resort also offers Wi-Fi and cable television.
Nestled between Waikoloa Resort’s Kings’ and Beach Courses on the spectacular Kohala Coast, this Waikoloa resort offers scenic views of Mauna Kea and the impressive lava fields that surround the resort. Great location, spacious units - it’s about it on a positive note.The unit is extremely outdated, I don’t think it ever had any makeover since it was build.Microwave is so old, it literally felt apart during our stay, bath towels with holes, super cheap bed sheets, there was no fitting, just a flat on a mattress cover and it constantly slides off ( I actually took a photo of towels and beddings).Kitchen was very poorly equipped, we love to bbq outside, but it’s just not enough utensils provided, and the ones that were present were very old.No walk in showers, just a tabs with very poor draining. By the end of the shower you’ll find yourself knee deep in water.We stay in Waikoloa area every spring, different places. This one was the most neglected, poor equipped and maintained unit.
We really enjoyed our vacation in Hawaii. Condo was in a nice location, beautiful garden views. We enjoyed relaxing on the lanai in the beautiful warm weather. Unit could use a little tlc but worked for our needs.
This unit was nice and clean and is in a great spot. The primary bed was the hardest mattress I have ever tried to sleep on. The couch bed was unusable which is expected but then the listing shouldn’t say that it sleeps 6 people since it doesn’t sleep that many comfortably.

The location is great, with a very nice and quiet beach (at least in March) reachable by a longer (but pleasant) walk or a very short drive. The whole residential community is kept extremely tidy and is generally very quiet. The pool is very pleasant with a warm whirlpool. The unit is spacious, we were four adults and two children and were not restricted space-wise in any way. The appliances are visibly somewhat dated but everything is functional, and the kitchen well equipped. The ventilator in the smaller bathroom would deserve some repair to make it less noisy. The only issue was cleanliness - the floors and bathrooms would have deserved a thorough scrub. Our feet and socks were black after just half an hour of walking in the unit. We arrived late evening, so we just cleaned the floor ourselves instead of trying to request it (perhaps the owner would do it on request). We had no direct interaction with the owner, all instructions were clear, and the whole process absolutely smooth. Overall, I would be gladly willing to book again.
