First time to Kauai, so wasn’t sure what to expect or which part of the island to stay at. I chose Princeville and was so happy with my choice. This place looked good in the photos and had enough beds for our family of 6 (4 kids ages 15 to 22). We like to hang out at night together in the living room so based on the photos, I liked the look of the living room and couch area. I actually expected the place to be small, but we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. It was very roomy and spacious. The location was fantastic, the neighborhood nice, and we would stay here again. There were beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, and ice chests in the garage to use. Loved that! The check in process was so easy and when we had one question for the host, it was promptly answered. Great experience!
The property managers were great. Very easy to get in and low stress. We’re familiar with the area so that made things simple. My only suggestion is more beach beach towels and kitchen towels. Very nice and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
All good EXCEPT owners who visited the pool and apparently don't like renters or children in THEIR pool. A couple of them were nasty regarding laughing and playing children in the middle of the day. This issue put a damper on what should have been a great vacation.
We enjoyed our rental. The property was clean, bright and spacious. Neighbors were friendly. Atmosphere was peaceful, tropical, and felt tucked away. The two large bedrooms were spacious with access to private balconies. The downstair master bedroom was equipped with separate AC, personal fridge, separate shower and tub so it feels like a separate unit within the house. Management was prompt to respond to a few questions I had during our stay. We had everything in the unit we needed to start our vacation right. Our property was also equipped with clean beach towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipments and an umbrella so we can hit the beach on our first day.
