Property Overview
The house sits in the middle of the 4 acres surrounded by lawn, flowers, fruit trees and forest. Guests are welcome to harvest the fruit and flowers. It is very quiet, and on clear nights it is like a bowl of stars turned upside down on our land.
Both bedrooms have top quality beds, luxury linens, tvs and ceiling fans. Both rooms look out into the magnificent jungle.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower. The towels are big and soft.
The kitchen literally has everything, all top quality. There is also a charcoal grill on the covered lanai. There are two eating areas outside on the covered lanai where we have a harvest table and a four top teak table. There are also stools for the kitchen island.
The living area has been redecorated with new couches, chairs, and coffee table. It also has a tv, wifi, a/c and ceiling fan.
Outside on the covered lanai is another living set up with two couches and a coffee table and two outdoor eating areas. This is the best place to ponder how lucky you are! A wonderful outdoor shower is on the back of the house, hot and cold water, fun to use!
There are board games and a bocce ball set, dvd's, beach chairs and towels.
The house is located within walking distance to the Hana Lava Tubes, Kahanu Gardens and Hana Farms, Hana's Friday night hotspot for pizza and live music. There are also 3 food trucks on the road offering local eats, acai bowls and homemade ice cream. Waianapanapa State Park is only 2 miles away and Hana town is an easy 10 minute drive.

Hale Noa was clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Manager was easy to contact. Everything was perfect.
Beautiful property. Well-supplied kitchen (although a microwave would have been nice). Comfortable beds. Good linens. Property manager easy to work with.
30 yr anniversary - perfectly relaxing for us - would stay here again for sure.
The property was magical. We walked the grounds every day and picked star fruit, limes and avocados. Not all ready to eat, but we are staying on Maui for another week and will enjoy when ripe.
Wonderful stay. Immaculate little home with everything you need. It was a little warm trying to sleep but the fans helped and it did cool down late at night. We really loved our stay and would definitely recommend.
Really enjoyed our stay
Great property and excellent location with a perfect balance between privacy and proximity to Hana.
Property was as advertised. Location was great for Hana activities. The road to Hana is an adventure so it was nice to stay local. The house was nice and had what we needed. The house is in the jungle, so there are bugs and geckos. I would recommend this house to others
Overall we had a great stay in Hana. It was so nice to be able to enjoy that side of the island without rushing to drive back. There were more than a few light bulbs out and a few geckos but would still recommend.
After the beautiful drive on the Road to Hana we stayed in this lovely quaint home. The place was just what we wanted. Very Hawaiian. Really enjoyed the evening.
What an amazing place to stay and enjoy beautiful Hana. The home is clean, comfortable and updated. We loved the property and how well kept the landscaping - it gives you a feeling of a high-end resort! Will stay her again!
Wonderful location!
We were very lucky that this home was available. We used it for just one night as we broke up our drive to Hana adventure. It is a very well-kept property on beautiful grounds. We laid on the lawn in the darkness and saw The Milky Way and so many other stars. It was magical! Thanks, Crissy!
Cozy, clean, & comfortable.
This was our 3rd time staying out in Hana for 2 nights on the front end of our family vacation to Maui. The location of this house is great as it is just a short distance off the highway and the property is beautiful. Had everything we needed for our brief stay and was comfortable.
Great place to stay if you are looking to get away from it all.
Located walking distance from the largest lava tube in Maui, this place is the perfect home base for exploring Hana! The manicured property grounds, the outdoor living space and the outdoor shower are just some of the highlights, and that’s before you set foot inside! The house itself is a very pleasant 2 bedroom bungalow with top notch mattresses, bed linens and kitchen amenities. I have already recommended this to some friends of mine who will be on the island in a few months.
We loved the open space and beautiful nature right at the doorstep. So convenient to stay in Hāna as u explore road to Hana. We had the best time.
Wow! What a beautiful and unique place to stay. The grounds were extensive and beautifully landscaped with a gorgeous variety of flowers and fruit trees dotting the estate. The home was very comfortable and clean. Excellent info and tips were available for local sightseeing which we much appreciated. The kitchen facilities lacked a much desired microwave but were otherwise wonderful with great outdoor eating spaces to enjoy. Highly recommend!
My wife and I have stayed on this property many times in the last few years. We live on Maui and always love coming back to this beautiful home. We can't wait to come back. Mahalo.
Clean, Comfortable & QuietBeautiful yard & patioComfortable bedsLocation is greatThere is not a negative thing to say about this place! This is our 2nd stay & we will definitely be back for another. This is a great place!
Heavenly Hana couldn't be more aptly named. Tucked into a little jungle nook, this property was quiet, serene, and private. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well-stocked with pots/pans, utensils, etc. and the outdoor seating on the patio was nice and relaxing. A short drive to Hana, Waiʻānapanapa State Park, or Kahanu Garden, National Tropical Botanical Garden and adjacent to a large Lava tube that was definitely worth exploring. We were very pleased with our stay here and would book again if ever in east Maui.
We absolutely LOVED this home. This is the only place we want to stay when we come to Hana.
Beautiful property, clean comfortable home. Close to activities in Hana.
Absolutely spectacular! Everything you want in a VRBO has been thought out and is here, including privacy and that feeling of being on vacation. I highly recommend.
We had a wonderful stay. The house was as advertised regarding all amenities. Very clean, well maintained and well stocked. The only surprise was no microwave. Check in and out quite seamless. One of the better properties I've rented
We have never been to Hāna and didn’t know what to expect. Home was as described and we had a wonderful time! Picked fruit from the yard, walked to the lava tube and enjoyed the local offerings. You must get pizza at the spot nearby and don’t forget your bug spray!
This is our 3rd time booking this property and every time has been amazing! The house is perfect for our family of four. It has always been very clean, quiet and relaxing. The property is so gorgeous and we enjoy our time out on the patio. 1000000000 X would recommend! If this is your first time to Hana, I recommend bringing or buying bug spray as it is the jungle and there are lots of bugs outside. You’ll be totally fine if you have some though. See you next year Hana!
Such a beautiful piece of heaven on earth. So quiet and private. A wonderful place to unwind and e joy the beauty of Hana.
We loved our stay! The house is small, but 2 queen beds were great. There were some bugs, but you are in a rural area and expect we. It was great for exploring the sights and has a very relaxing outdoor space. We particularly loved the outdoor shower. Thanks for a great stay!
The house was clean and the property was so beautiful! The only downside was the geckos in the house. I didnt mind, but my mom was scared of them and had trouble sleeping as they were chirping in her room. But overall I'd recommend this place and id stay again if im ever in Hana!
It was so wonderful to have a house and property to ourselves. The secluded feel of the location was lovely. The house is cozy and the kitchen utensils & pots/pans were clean and good quality. The A/C units worked well, but were a little loud since they are older units. Just bring and wear ear plugs if that bothers you. I brought mine and slept fine. Yes, you are in the rainforest so there are tiny bugs...but that is hard to prevent. That is what the gecko is for!
The property was a beautiful place to decompress and was the perfect size for our family of three. We really enjoyed the outdoor space to include the landscaping and lanai furniture.
Cozy house in a perfect location in Hana. The property is large and many fruit trees and flowers to enjoy.
We had a wonderful night staying at this secluded home in Hana. Absolutely perfect and peaceful.
The house and property were both amazing, we really enjoyed our stay!
We had a wonderful experience.
This house is even better than the listing makes it look. Clean & comfortable with a huge beautiful yard. The outdoor patio is also great with comfortable furniture & everything you could possibly ask for. We would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a clean comfortable place to stay near Hana. We were very happy with everything and will definitely book this house again.
I would give this home 10 stars. It was beautiful, comfortable and immaculately clean. It has a huge lanai and a gorgeous property surrounding it. There are so many different types of trees and all you hear are the sounds of nature. We enjoyed eating the cocunuts and star apples. It is truly paradise there, so peaceful. Everything was just perfect from check in to check out. I highly reccomend staying here.
What a wonderful little house! Tucked into the jungle on a quiet road with complete privacy and a beautiful yard with green grass lawns all around surrounded by flowering trees, including bananas and oranges, and colourful tropical plants. Take advantage of the fruit smoothie stand a short walk from the house. The linens were all top notch. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals, although some guests might miss having a microwave. The house was really clean in spite of a couple of gecko visitors who chirped at night (we thought there was a bird in the house) and who left little reminders of their presence. Crissy, the manager, was very responsive to our needs, including helping us technology-handicapped guests through the TV and phone connection processes. It is best to shop for groceries in Kahului before going to Hana, although there are two expensive small grocery outlets in town. There are many food trucks, so lots of options for take-out. Be aware that the 30 miles to Hana is a two-hour drive on a very narrow road with lots of twists and turns and one-way bridges. The scenery and views are beautiful. If you want a quiet getaway in a truly tropical environment, we truly recommend this property.
The house and its environment was even better than the photos suggested. Very quiet and private, with big plants all around, birds chirping, hardly any noise from ‚civilization“. Kitchen very well equipped, comfortable bed and everything impeccably clean. Wi-Fi worked well. Thanks for the advice to buy groceries in the Kahului area, choice in Hana is very limited. Hana is quite remote, but we loved this. And thanks for the coffee and the avocados.
Beautiful yard and home, peaceful and private. Nearby everything, yet secluded. Used the outdoor shower more than the indoor, and the kitchen is well stocked with cookware. My kids loved the lava tubes (within walking distance) and the area is lush and breathtaking. Property manager was fantastic giving information and helpful suggestions on what to do in the area.
This place did not disappoint. We were looking for a quiet retreat to enjoy the outdoors in Hana. The house is set back on a quiet street with many trees, some banana, orange, starfruit and avocado. There are many birds. There are going to be bugs outside that comes with being in the jungle. The inside is clean and has everything you would need. Would highly recommend and stay again.
We had such a wonderful, relaxing, stay in Hana. It was our first time on that side of the island and we were able to stay for five days. The outdoor sitting area was our favorite. Sitting outside, listening to the birds and looking out through the beautiful trees was more than we could’ve hoped for. Crissy was very responsive with questions. I’ve already recommended it to friends and can’t wait to return.
The property is amazing, secluded but close enough to everything you need in Hana. Immaculate and quiet. The manager was extremely proactive about communicating, and was very understanding, which put us at ease on our first trip to that side of Maui. They also keep a great guest guide with recommendations which was very useful!
